{"title":"Efficient and Reliable Three-dimensional Reed-solomon Codes for Holographic Data Storage","authors":"Bingrui Wang, Xiaofei Yang, Xingzhong Yao, Hongzhi Zhang, Yue Zhang","doi":"10.12733/JICS20105531","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.12733/JICS20105531","url":null,"abstract":"The three-dimensional Reed-solomon (RS) code with erasures-and-errors decoding (3DRS-E) can be utilized to efiectively correct burst errors in Holographic Data Storage (HDS), a considerable application in multimedia storage. However, the RS codes have two drawbacks: 1) Received erroneous codewords may not be detected by the RS decoders; 2) The RS decoders may produce a codeword that difiers from the transmitted codeword. In the implementation of erasures-and-errors decoding, such drawbacks may cause the RS codes to provide incorrect erasure information to other RS codes, resulting in unreliable burst-error correction performance of the HDS. In order to combat the drawbacks, we propose a new three-dimensional code in which Cyclic Redundancy Check (CRC) codes are applied; we call this new code as the 3DRS-E and CRC code (3DRS-EC). In order to obtain time-frequency energy information accurately, flrstly, the original signal is transformed by wavelet. From the viewpoint of energy, using adaptive threshold for denoising, while most of the signal energy is reserved, the in∞uence of most noise is eliminated at the same time. Then, LMD is used to get the signal component which has deflnite physical sense and contains fault information. To identify the abnormal frequency components, the signal component is analyzed in time-frequency domain. Finally, the running state of hydro turbine can be diagnosed by analyzing the time-frequency information of each component signals. They are achieved through the use of the hybrid reservoir neuron (i.e. Symlets-S, MorletS and Mexico-S), instead of the original single S-neuron. Due to the multi-scale analysis ability, the wavelet function can extract the local information of input signal subtly. Therefore, the proposed models can enhance the learning capacity and prediction performance, compared with the existing deterministic Echo State Network. This algorithm generates K cluster centers spending max-min distances method which creates K clusters based on the distance from node to cluster center, selects cluster head with the principle of maximum weight, forms new cluster according to node and cluster head distance and this cluster head will be chose as next communication cluster center automatically. Constructing a chain with the shortest communication path between cluster head and SINK adopts continuous Hopfleld neural network and optimizes it to make multi-hop tree clustering chain with SINK central. In this paper, a novel spectrum handofi scheme based on the feature vector extraction of Support Vector Machine (SVM) is proposed. The new handofi scheme predicts the channel availability considering the activity of PUs and the mobility of SUs together. And Maximum Independent Set (MIS) theory is utilized to achieve fairness during the backup channel selection. By using the CNC external machine zero point ofiset function, real-time error compensation was realized online. The experimental results on a vertical milling machine show that the model is convenient in calculation and performs excellent in accuracy prediction. Time e‐ciency, information reliability and travel safety are criteria for the attributes selection. In the listed 9 candidate attributes, three (route length, delay time and delay-time reliability) of them are selected as the utility components by the method of Likert scale. A two-route stated preference survey is carried out to calibrate a C-logit model for the evacuation route choice which takes the aforementioned utility into account. Analysis results indicated that highly educated drivers are considered to be a group being risk averse. The purpose of beamforming is to form the directivity of the target direction and to catch the target efiectively. So, the beamforming technology is widely used in this fleld. Vector Hydrophone simultaneously extract sound pressure and velocity information of sound sources. After that, the phase shift information between the amount of the hydrophone array increases. Beamforming technology based on vector hydrophone performance was signiflcantly better than the sound pressure hydrophone. During this research, flrstly, do conventional beamforming theoretical description and simulation analysis, based on the conventional beamforming where MVDR (Minimum Variance Distortionless Response) beamforming principles were introduced, and then based on vector hydrophone do comparison simulation by various ways. Simulation results show that, MVDR beamforming has a higher resolution and antijamming capability related to conventional beamforming which is suitable for low SNR environment underwater acoustic signal processing. To overcome the shortcomings, a novel theory called D numbers theory is proposed. In this paper, a new distance function of D numbers based on exclusive degree is proposed to measure the distance between two D numbers. The proposed function is an generalization of distance between two BPAs, which inherits the advantage of Dempster-Shafer theory and strengthens the capability of uncertainty modeling.
