M. Longissimus lumborum, así como el tejido adiposo subcutáneo e intermuscular, se sometieron a análisis del perfil de ácidos grasos y, además, la carne se comparó con la carne de otras especies. El tejido adiposo de la llama mostró una saturación significativa comparable a la observada en los depósitos de grasa de los animales rumiantes, sin embargo, se detectaron proporciones considerables de los beneficiosos C18: 1n-9 y C18: 1n-7 y también se observaron en el tejido muscular. M. Longissmus lumborum presentó un porcentaje considerable de ácidos grasos poliinsaturados esenciales (AGPI) (C18: 2n-6 y C18: 3n-3), ácido linoleico conjugado (CLA), así como ácidos grasos poliinsaturados n-3 de cadena larga (C20:5n-3 y C22:5n-3). Las ventajas de la carne de llama con respecto a su perfil de ácidos grasos se compararon con la carne de res, cordero y cerdo. Los datos indican que la carne de llama no debe considerarse inferior a las carnes mencionadas anteriormente. In this investigation we boarded the study of the removal of chromium Vl by means of the bacterium Rhodopseudomonas palustris when applied to contaminated waters. Chromium treatments (5 mg/L and 3 mg/L) were applied into bacterial solutions (400 mL and 300 mL) for times of 19 and 23 days periods in bioreactors. The elimination of chromium VI by bacteria was evaluated. On the basis of the results obtained we concluded that the level of concentration of chromium VI was reduced to below the maximum permissible limits of 0.5 mg/L. This research showed that inocula with tolerant bacteria can be used efficiently for the removal of chromium with characteristic concentrations of industrial and mining effluents. *Corresponding author: pavelds1@yahoo.com Received 11 3","PeriodicalId":21227,"journal":{"name":"Revista Boliviana de Quimica","volume":"20 1","pages":"21-27"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-04-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"86463755","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Up to now, 21 species are known, the most studied being Azospirillum brasilense. The effect of the use of the bacterium in corn crops has been reported, having been determined in parameters such as plant height and chlorophyll content, including an increase in the amount of fixed nitrogen from the atmosphere. Similarly, in soybean and wheat crops, a significant benefit has been reported in the increase in chlorophyll content related to the increase in grain yield per hectare. The main mechanism by which Azospirillum improves plant growth is through the production of phytohormones, mainly the indole-3-acetic acid (IAA), which is generated in the plant, but in nanomolar quantities, participating in various functions. It is known that the main route to the production of IAA is through the amino acid tryptophan (TRP) by means of four routes: 1) indole-3-acetonitrile (IAN), 2) indole-3-acetamide (IAM) 3) indole-3pyruvic acid (IPyA) and 4) Tryptamine (TAM). Through various studies, it is known that there is an independent TRP route but, until now, the metabolites involved in the route, the levels of expression and the environmental circumstances in which it is expressed are not known. *Corresponding author: jliceah1800@alumno.ipn.mx Received 12 3","PeriodicalId":21227,"journal":{"name":"Revista Boliviana de Quimica","volume":"66 1","pages":"34-39"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-04-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"80618414","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Take, for example, strawberries, blackberries and raspberries, time-labile fruits with a high market demand due to their nutritional properties (antioxidants, minerals and organic acids). One of the alternatives that exist to extend the shelf life of fruits is the use of edible covers or biofilms. These can be composed of hydrocolloids, proteins, lipids or a combination of all three, each material gives specific properties to these coatings. The qualities of biofilms, when applied in the perpetuation of shelf life of fruits, are the reduction of water loss, the loss of phenolic compounds and the retardation of enzymatic oxidation, in addition to allowing the addition of antioxidants or antimicrobial, without affecting the organoleptic properties of the fruit. *Corresponding author: jquiroz@ipn.mx","PeriodicalId":21227,"journal":{"name":"Revista Boliviana de Quimica","volume":"1 1","pages":"40-45"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-04-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"89744204","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
