Usage of Hough parametric space for reduction of approximation points, unlike the piecewise linear method, allows receiving more accurate representation of contours, but its computer realization is rather time-consuming. In the paper in order to reduce time and to increase efficiency of the process of vectorization of images of ultrahigh spatial resolution the possibility of usage of fractal dimension as an additional criterion for objects classification is investigated.","PeriodicalId":211302,"journal":{"name":"2019 IEEE 2nd Ukraine Conference on Electrical and Computer Engineering (UKRCON)","volume":"35 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128440826","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The U-shaped grid shield is made of wires located in a vertical plane and two horizontal planes. All wires are connected in parallel. Shielding characteristics of four U-shaped grid shields and four U-shaped electromagnetic shields having equivalent quantity of metal are studied by numerical simulation. We found that the U-shaped grid shield is preferred because of its convenient and low cost erection. The length of arms is varied. Respectively the number of wires and their cross-sectional areas are varied for grid shields, and the thickness is varied for electromagnetic shields. The advisable length of arms and the advisable quantity of metal of the U-shaped grid shield are found out.","PeriodicalId":211302,"journal":{"name":"2019 IEEE 2nd Ukraine Conference on Electrical and Computer Engineering (UKRCON)","volume":"15 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126422290","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

All pristine and edge-terminated armchair ZnO nanoribbons are found to be nonmagnetic semiconductors despite of widths. The band gap decreases monotonically when nanoribbon width increases. Established that edge substitution dopant site is more stable than other dopant sites. Next physical mechanism is proposed: polar crystals have a finely balanced structure highly sensitive to external influences; therefore, they are capable to generate electrical response onto non-electrical action. In other words, it is assumed that in the polar crystals no permanent polarization exists, but electrical polarization appears in them as a response to thermal, mechanical, optical, chemical and others actions. At that, the difference between pyroelectrics and piezoelectrics is not fundamental but can be explained by spatial distribution of polar-sensitive (mixed ionic-covalent) bonds, emerged as a result of compensation of atoms electronegativities. In the ferroelectrics polar-sensitive bonds can reversal their orientation with nonlinear response onto electrical field.","PeriodicalId":211302,"journal":{"name":"2019 IEEE 2nd Ukraine Conference on Electrical and Computer Engineering (UKRCON)","volume":"56 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127508212","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The new algorithm of field weakening control was developed, which provides the IM torque maximization and high quality of controlled processes. The expanded IM mathematical model and EV motion model have been presented. The genetic algorithm has been applied for numerical IM torque optimization. The objective of IM torque maximization is an increased intensity of the EV acceleration and braking intervals. The studies have been carried on with EV mass and stator current limit changes. In test EV, the acceleration time has been reduced by 30-50%, while the braking time – by 5-16%. The present results prove the fact that important effects are to be achieved due to the suggested EV IM control system.","PeriodicalId":211302,"journal":{"name":"2019 IEEE 2nd Ukraine Conference on Electrical and Computer Engineering (UKRCON)","volume":"6 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129223192","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this article, we propose a new approach to quantifying the perceived contrast of a multiobject image. The essence of proposed approach is in measuring the contrast of pairs of objects in a reference image with a specified range of brightness and in the follow-up correction of the measurement results taking into account the ratio of the dynamic ranges of the reference and source images. Based on this approach, proposes a generalized description for the perceived contrast of pair of objects in a multi-object image. Using this description, new definitions for the weighted and relative contrast of a pair of objects in an image are presented.","PeriodicalId":211302,"journal":{"name":"2019 IEEE 2nd Ukraine Conference on Electrical and Computer Engineering (UKRCON)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130139907","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
