The purpose of the analysis is to identify the features of the semantic aspect of the linguistic representation of emotions \u0000in German-language political texts. \u0000This study is carried out using the method of semantic modelling according to five parameters reflecting the main types of syntagmatic relations between the meanings of words within one speech segment (a word combination or a sentence): \u0000«signs of emotion», «activity of emotion», «manifestation of emotion», «carrier of emotion», «cause of emotion». \u0000The following conclusions were obtained in the course of this study: the parameters «signs of emotion» and «activity of emotion» are the most productive within the framework of German political discourse; within the parameters mentioned \u0000above, the phenomenon of metaphorization is noted, which can also be considered as one of the productive means of verbalization of emotions; according to the type of \u0000evaluation sign, the predominance of negative emotions is observed in the political discourse of Germany. \u0000The results of the research conducted in this article can be used in research and teaching activities related to the study of the features of the emotional aspect of \u0000modern communication from a linguistic point of view.

According to the ruling emperor, the purpose of the convention \u0000was to elect a Roman king – the future Emperor Ferdinand III. However, the Brandenburg Elector Georg Wilhelm set as his task the conclusion of peace, which should be preceded by an amnesty for the classes that did not sign the Prague Peace. During the \u0000preparation for the convention and the convention itself, it became clear that the Saxon Elector Johann Georg was pursuing an anti-Brandenburg policy. On his initiative, Brandenburg found itself drawn into a war with Sweden, then Johann Georg invited his colleague Georg Wilhelm to make concessions: to transfer Pomerania to Sweden in the name of peace in the Empire. During the convention, Brandenburg proposed to begin negotiations using the mediation of the Polish king. This was rejected by the majority of the Electors. Then a proposal was made to begin negotiations together with the emperor on concluding peace with Sweden and France. As a result, negotiations with Sweden \u0000failed. On the issue of amnesty for the Duchy of Württemberg, the Brandenburg delegation failed. As a result, under the influence of the leader of the delegation and a supporter of the Emperor Schwarzenberg, Brandenburg agreed to the election of the Roman king. As a result, Brandenburg's peace policy failed.

The article reveals the essence of cinematic effect as a literary technique based on cinematographic montage composition style that is the use of certain compositional-syntactic means to create brisk, dynamic description and represent a viewer’s shifting perspective. Cinematic effect enhances the plausibility of the literary text and should be considered more than just an imitation of \u0000cinematographic montage techniques but rather a lingual reflection of the natural process of perception and interpretation. The article reveals the concept and characteristic features of the descriptive language register of a literary text as a model \u0000for representing events, where the speaker describes what is actually observed at the moment of speech through sensory experiences. The article provides a thorough analysis of linguistic means of creating a cinematic effect within the framework of the \u0000descriptive language register of a literary text. The special attention is paid to lingual means that manifest the perception by various modalities, and their role in creating a cinematic effect within the descriptive language register of a literary text. The author concludes that the use of the reproductive register is predefined by the genre peculiarities of the material under study, since the way of representing events within the framework of the descriptive language register is most conducive to conveying viewer’s shifting perspective, the effect of the reader's direct presence at the events described, i.e. cinematic effect

Most of the renamed streets started to be called by the names of revolutionary figures, leaders of the Russian and world proletariat, by significant revolutionary events. \u0000The classification of regional urbanonyms is important due to the fact that every onym is a cultural constant from the point of view of linguistics and reflects the peculiarities of the linguistic picture of the world of both an individual and society as a whole. For the streets of the city in the period from the 17th to the \u0000beginning of the 20th century, renaming is not typical; after the revolution, the names were changed regularly. \u0000The relation to another significant object (temple, monastery) was the most productive principle of nomination for the streets of ancient Smolensk. The directions in which the Union and Republican governments adopted the most important laws and regulations that determined the further development of social support for war invalids are considered. The results obtained allow us to conclude that the adoption of the Law «On the demobilization \u0000of senior members of the active army» on June 23, 1945 served as the basis for the further construction of the social security system for disabled people of the Great Patriotic War and determined the most important areas of activity of social security \u0000bodies to provide assistance to them. The most popular epochs among authors are \u0000highlighted and the analysis of the most characteristic examples is given. «Historical» poems occupy a small share (14%) among others. The most favorite themes of \u0000the authors of the Poetry Prize in poems with a historical component are the XX \u0000century. The greatest interest in its framework is caused by the epochs of the Second \u0000World War and the first years of Soviet power. All the texts of the collection are united by an accentuated political focus. Often there is a state in the poems, it comes into conflict with a person. Such a point of view on history reflects to a greater extent the biased view of the founders and members of the jury of the prize, rather than an objective cross-section of modern poetry, for which the prize was originally claimed.
