Environmental contamination of outdoor insulation surfaces leads to the puncture of insulators and heavy loss due to power outage in the transmission line. The water droplet on superhydrophobic coatings can pick up dirt particles and remove contamination from the surface of insulators due to the easy cleaning property of these coatings. Fabricated superhydrophobic coating in this paper has contact angles higher than 150° and CAH (Contact Angle Hysteresis) less than 10 degrees. The QDs were synthesized by the thermal decomposition method and characterized by using optical spectroscopy techniques and Density Functional Theory (DFT) calculations. Trioctylphosphine (TOP) and Oleic acid (OA) ligands were replaced by Formic acid. This ligand exchange seems to cause an increment of the Stokes shift on the nanostructures. As a result a surface underpassivation of the nanostructures appears. And we look for the best dimensions of the tracks for minimized the electromagnetic interaction in order to adapt them in microtechnology. Interconnects are multiple strip and multilevel in ICs. Today interconnects are great attention in high speed digital design and microwave integrated circuit application. With increased density of packing, line to line coupling of electromagnetic also becomes prominent. Nanocomposites are preferred over conventional materials because of their superior mechanical properties, such as high specific strength, high stiffness, low density and fatigue resistance. However, studies still need to be carried out, especially for dynamic response of the nanostructure and the reinforcement in the composite. Therefore, the objective of this work is to model a Single-Walled Carbon Nanotube (SWCN) as a space frame structure by using the modified Morse potential and as a thin shell based on Donnell’s theory to analyze its dynamic properties, in terms of its natural frequencies, under different types of boundaries conditions, and a Carbon-Nanotube-Reinforced-Polymer (CNRP) by developing a 3D multiscale finite-element model of the composite under the same boundary conditions.
