Analytical applications and data scientists can then verify and defer the results to discover patterns and trends. In this way, they allow business leaders to gain enlightened knowledge about the market. Companies have kept a wealth of data with them. As modern technology allowed for the creation and storage of ever-increasing amounts of information, data volumes popped. The wealth of data collected and stored by these technologies can bring regenerative benefits to organizations and societies around the world, but only if they can interpret it. That's where data science comes in. So, the applied economics refers to the application of economic theory and analysis. In this article we intend to present several software that are available for the application of economic analysis. Analysis can be performed on any type of data and is a way of looking at raw data and find useful information. There are several technologies available for economic analysis, with more or less characteristics, some of which are not only intended for this single purpose, and cover a wider spectrum of functionalities. Some of the technologies we will use are, e.g., Rstudio, SPSS, Statis and SAS/Stata. These are very common technologies when talking about economic or business analysis. The intention is to demonstrate how each of these software analyse the data and subsequently the interpretations that we can draw from that scrutiny. Organizations are using data science teams to turn data into a competitive advantage by refining products and services and cost-effective solutions. In the digital economy, the leading role of e-commerce is to achieve the goals of sustainable development, to ensure flexibility and adaptability of the management system. This study investigates patterns in e-commerce activities and their impact on energy efficiency for a group of 29 European countries by using a unique panel dataset spanning the years 2011–2019 collected from EUROSTAT. The empirical approach involves the specification of a difference one-step GMM estimation method. Identifying altruistic and self-servicing factors is critical for the federations to establish the most effective policies to enlarge the referee’s career and minimise turnover. In this work, the null hypothesis was set to be that the number of referees in Madrid is not affected by the unemployment rate (as a proxy of income level). Sequential linear regressions generated three different models using data from the Instituto de Estadística de la Comunidad de Madrid (IECM) and the Real Federación de Fútbol de Madrid (RFFM). En el compromiso hacia este objetivo, cabe preguntarse qué trabajo se puede llevar a cabo desde las administraciones locales. Con este fin, se evalúa el gasto público llevado a cabo por los ayuntamientos en 2015 y su relación con el índice Gini de ese mismo año y de 4 años después, en 2019. Se muestra una fuerte correlación entre la desigualdad en 2015 y su descenso en 2019, lo que dificulta la interpretación de algunas variaciones. This phenomenon has prompted tourism agents to apply Big Data techniques and Business Intelligence tools to find out what tourists think. In this sense, the analysis of the Electronic Word Of Mouth in Social Networks is particularly relevant, and the academic literature has faced some difficulties in extracting data, determining its meaning and linking it to the destination. The aim of this work is to is to present the results that can be generated by the design of a tourism reputation index, through the analysis of data created collaboratively on the Twitter Social Network. For this purpose, a BI tool has been created to extract data from short text messages posted by users (tweets) and process them by implementing an Extract, Transform and Load process. In this process, Natural Language Processing is carried out, focusing on Sentiment Analysis tasks, applying an automatic classification model (Multinomial Naive Bayes) and then an automatic thematic categorisation of these texts depending on the words they contain. Subsequently, the data is analysed, calculating a global online reputation index based on sub-indexes of perception on different tourism aspects. These ratings are shown to users through an interactive dashboard, which allows comparison between different queries associated with a tourist location and a temporal period. No obstante, resulta quizás más importante que esa inversión sea percibida de utilidad por la ciudadanía y, sobre todo, efectiva, por lo que conocer y estudiar el nivel de satisfacción con la sanidad resulta crucial. Por ello, el objetivo de este trabajo es estudiar qué características individuales, así como del propio Sistema Nacional de Salud (SNS), son más relevantes en la percepción de satisfacción experimentada por el individuo. En concreto, se analizan atributos relativos al sistema sanitario en general y a la atención primaria en particular, dado que esta última es la primera línea del sistema y la más utilizada por la población. Se estima un modelo logit multinomial, empleando los microdatos del Barómetro Sanitario del Centro de Investigaciones Sociológicas (CIS) para el año 2019. Entre los principales resultados se encuentra que las jóvenes con estudios superiores que residen en municipios medianos y pequeños, tienen una mayor probabilidad de estar insatisfechas con el funcionamiento del sistema público. Por otra parte, el estado de salud autopercibido también resulta significativo. En términos de atributos de la atención primaria, el tiempo y la atención prestada durante la consulta, así como la seguridad transmitida por parte del personal sanitario, contribuyen significativamente a una mejor percepción del SNS en su conjunto. A quantitative and qualitative analysis of a group of companies before and after the pandemic shows that the arrival of the virus has increased the use of the internet, mainly to overcome the difficulties caused by social distancing measures, although the effect has been temporary. Se aplicaron dos encuestas a estudiantes de diferentes niveles. El modelo de regresión logística binomial corrobora el resultado exploratorio y ANOVA, presentando contradicciones en el dominio de las teorías económicas cada vez más marcadas en estudiantes de niveles avanzados.
