The Cannabis plant contains a chemical known as tetrahydrocannabinol, or THC, which produces the psychoactive effects experienced by users. The THC content of Cannabis varies in different parts of the plant. The greatest concentration is usually found in a sticky resin produced by the plant, known as hashish. Declining concentrations are typically found in the flowers and leaves, respectively. Little THC is found in the stem, roots, or seeds of the plant. The potency and resulting effect of the drug fluctuate, depending on the relative proportion of these plant parts in the marijuana mixture consumed by the user.1 The most common method of administration is by smoking either the dried flowers and leaves or various preparations of hashish. Marijuana is also occasionally taken orally, typically baked in sweets such as brownies or cookies.2","PeriodicalId":20915,"journal":{"name":"Research Journal of Science and Technology","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-11-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139280103","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

New inventions in medicines are changing human’s life and provides better medications. But the role of pharmacy is not limited to the earth, pharmacy sector can also benefits the space sector by providing effective medications to the astronauts in the space travel. But formulating the medicines for the space environment is not easy compared to that on the earth. Microgravity produces many difficulties in the stability of the drug products and is also affect the functionality of drugs in the body. Short space missions may not produce that much problem but when there is a deep space missions the health of astronauts become major challenge. This problem creates a need for novel drug technologies to overcome these problems. The traditional health care system (hodopathy) is based on the use of medicinal plants as the natural medications show better compatibility with human body, easily available with less side effects. These plants contain so many chemical compounds like alkaloids, flavonoids, tannins, saponins, phenolic compounds etc. that make them potential herbs and are used to cure various ailments. Anaemia is a condition in which the quantity of Red Blood Cells or their oxygen conveying limit is deficient to meet physiologic requirements which changes by age, gender, height, smoking etc. The present study is based on extensive and intensive field survey that was made during 2019-2023. A large number of ethno medicinal plants have been documented during the survey work by interviewing local healers, knowledgeable persons, vaidyas etc. by preparing a questionnaire. Some of the medicinal plants like Psidium guajava, Carica papaya, Moringa oleifera and Spinacia oleracia were selected and moisture contents was determined which was found to be highest in Carica papaya i.e. 81.37% followed by Moringa oleifera (81.19%), Psidium guajava (76.44%) and Spinacia oleracea (70.74 %). The findings will help in determining potential, quality and benefit of these plants in treatment of anaemia.","PeriodicalId":20915,"journal":{"name":"Research Journal of Science and Technology","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-08-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135998899","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This preparation belongs to medicinal creams containing antifungal agents. It reveals a formula for treating skin fungal infections. For skin infections, a topical approach is the best option. Developing a local drug delivery system with systemic action may be advantageous for a variety of drugs, as it offers many advantages over traditional drug administration routes. Ginger extract is an active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) used to treat fungal skin infections. The cream base also contains two primary and secondary emulsifiers, a waxy substance, a co-solvent, two preservatives, a buffer, a humectant, and water. When the active ingredients combine, they exert a powerful antifungal effect. Several experiments were performed to evaluate the physico-chemical properties of formulated creams, including: B. Visual inspection, pH measurement, homogeneity, removal test, skin irritation test, viscosity, spreadability test, saponification value, acid value, etc. The antifungal effect of the cream was further analyzed using nutrient agar. The medicated cream had good viscosity and color. However, the scent of ginger was characteristic.","PeriodicalId":20915,"journal":{"name":"Research Journal of Science and Technology","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-08-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135998901","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The inorganic toxic substances may be observed in the pond is especially low or trace quantity. The present investigation indicated that the mean values of temperature, pH and total alkalinity are peak in summer period and lowest in winter period and signify standards of dissolved oxygen was maximum in winter season and lowest in monsoon season. The poor water quality can produce in small earnings, low down product value and probable human health risks.
