Mucorales are a group of a growing number of members who have mucormycosis. The environmental contamination with fungal spore and now in COVID-19 the high use of steroid, which increases the occasion of mucor. It is a worldwide infectious disease as well as there is no vaccine to treat mucormycosis. Therapies for mucormycosis involve a coordinated surgical and medical approach. Antifungal therapy, iron sequestration, and adjunctive therapy are the various therapies to treat mucormycosis that will discuss in the article. Tyagi","doi":"10.52711/2349-2988.2021.00025","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.52711/2349-2988.2021.00025","url":null,"abstract":"The purpose of the present study was to prepare, characterize and evaluate the colon-targeted microspheres of mesalamine for the treatment and management of ulcerative colitis (UC). Microspheres were prepared by the ionic-gelation emulsification method using tripolyphosphate (TPP) as cross linking agent. The microspheres were coated with Eudragit S-100 by the solvent evaporation technique to prevent drug release in the stomach. The prepared microspheres were evaluated for surface morphology, entrapment efficiency, drug loading, micromeritic properties and in-vitro drug release. The microspheres formed had rough surface as observed in scanning electron microscopy. The entrapment efficiency of microspheres ranged from 43.72% - 82.27%, drug loading from 20.28% - 33.26%. The size of the prepared microspheres ranged between 61.22-90.41μm which was found to increase with increase in polymer concentration. All values are statistically significant as p<0.05. The release profile of mesalamine from eudragit-coated chitosan micro-spheres was found to be pH dependent. It was observed that Eudragit S100 coated chitosan microspheres gave no release in the simulated gastric fluid, negligible release in the simulated intestinal fluid and maximum release in the colonic environment. The rate of Mortality is high; About 6% death cases occurs within primary 30 days of DVT by the primarily through pulmonary embolism, and also about 13% of patients with the pulmonary embolism. Among treated patients, about 20–50% develop post-thrombotic syndrome (PTS) after DVT, and 3% develop chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension after pulmonary embolism.3,4 After 3–6 months of anticoagulation, VTE recurs in up to 40% of patients within 10 years. The risk of recurrence is two- to threefold higher after unprovoked than provoked VTE. Deep Vein thrombosis (DVT) is a life-threatening condition which may lead to sudden death as an immediate complication due to formation of thrombo-embolism. DVT is associated with various risk factors such as prolonged immobilization, inflammation, and/or coagulation disorders including muscular or venous injury. Deep venous thrombosis (DVT) frequently occurs in the lower limb. Successful treatment of DVT exclusively by the use of the different remedies has rarely been recorded in peer-reviewed journals. Under Goods and Services Tax, the returns of the buyer’s will be auto filled by data from the returns done by sellers and invoices uploaded by him/her. The software will have to match the data automatically from the returns and uploaded invoices and accept/deny/modify these invoices. The uploading of duplicate invoice is not allowed by the Goods and Services Tax system. All payments, uploading of invoices and filing of returns will have to be done electronically by all taxpayers only through the Goods and Services Tax portal. Access to and use of technology is therefore crucial for all taxpayers registered with the Goods and Services Tax Network, without which they cannot conduct business. The phytomedicine, which is modernized method of formulating different kinds of herbal medicines, has yielded a new herbal product as well as new system of herbal medicine. The plant Casuarina equisetifolia is evergreen tree; belongs to family Casuarinaceae generally, attain height up to 50 m, introduced into India. The presence of different chemical constituents responsible for pharmacological activity such as analgesic, anti-inflammatory, Anti-histaminic, Wound healing. This research article highlighted Pharmacognostic account as well as physico-chemical evaluation, which shows how it will effective in the treatment of disease and disorder using herbal medicine. Tendubhata were selected as study site around ash pond of Marwa thermal power plant. Groundwater samples were collected on random basis using composite sampling method. Ten heavy metals (Ca, Cu, Cd, Cl, Zn, Pb, Ni, Cr, Mn, and Fe) were detected in coal, fly ash, and groundwater samples. Heavy metal concentration in coal and fly ash was assessed by Energy Dispersive X-ray Fluorescence, while AAS was used for groundwater assessment.
