Most of the specialized studies carried out at the level of the gendarme military population investigate the stress they face in theaters of operations. There is very little peacetime activity and research investigating the impact of operational stress has not been encountered to date. The present study analyzed the longitudinal relationship between operational stress faced by military gendarmes in South-Eastern Europe and psychological well-being. Also, the mediating effects of social support and coping strategies were addressed: seeking social support, positive refocusing and self-control, in the previously mentioned relationship. Methodology. The study investigated the relationship between organizational stress, measured at T1, and psychological well-being, measured four months later, at T2. Furthermore, the mediating role of social support and coping strategies, assessed at both T1 and T2, was examined. Results. Organizational stress significantly negatively predicts psychological well-being. Social support, measured at both T1 and T2, is a significant partial mediator of the relationship between operational stress, measured at T1, and psychological well-being, measured at T2. Self-control, measured at T2, is a partial mediator in the relationship between operational stress, measured at T1, and psychological well-being, measured at T2. Discussions and conclusions. The obtained results guide mental health specialists who work in military units towards the consolidation of intervention programs aimed at the development of social support, in order to reduce the stress felt by this population category.","PeriodicalId":20848,"journal":{"name":"RA JOURNAL OF APPLIED RESEARCH","volume":"118 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"88472253","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In the future, post-pandemic education should be better. This research aims to deliver an alternative formulation of education service policy post-Covid-19 pandemic with new policy ecosystem approach. The education service policy model implemented in normal period is different from that in new normal (transition) and normal period before pandemic. The research was conducted in Salatiga Government, Central java, Indonesia as the authorized organizer of primary education. The data of research was collected from elementary (SD) and junior high schools (SMP) as the unit of analysis. The sample consisted of 14 elementary schools and 8 junior high schools. Interview and observation were the technique of collecting data used in this study. Data validation was carried out using source triangulation in forum group discussion. Considering the result of research, the author recommends the education service strategy to be implemented by Salatiga Government, Central Java, Indonesia i.e.: (1) a strategy combining strength and weakness of long distance and face-to-face learning; (2) the learning source should be expanded not limited to teacher’s role domination only. More than that, learning sources obtained from internet media are broader and have varying packaging; and (2) standardization of the school’s role should be conducted dynamically building on science and technology development.","PeriodicalId":20848,"journal":{"name":"RA JOURNAL OF APPLIED RESEARCH","volume":"20 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"79239893","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Citrobacter is one of the fecal coliform bacteria of family Enterobacteriaceae. It is an opportunistic pathogen formerly used as an indicator bacterium along with other fecal coliforms namely Escherichia coli, Klebsiella and Enterobacter, but is now known to cause several diseases in human beings. In present study we collected 135 samples from potable water and riverine-systems and confirmed the existence of Citrobacter using the conserved sequence of gnd (6-phosphogluconate dehydrogenate) gene with the application of SYBR green real-time PCR, which demonstrated extremely high specificity, fidelity and stringency in detection strategy. The Citrobacter counts in potable water were in the range of zero to 1.54 x104 ± 572.88 cfu/100ml. The Citrobacter levels in surface water were 2.18 x104 ±848, 1.54 x104 ±462, 3.53 x104 ±1299, 2.57 x104 ±912, 8.78 x103 ±201, 1.28 x104 ±370, CFU/100ml; associated with hydrophytes were 6.24 x104 ±1535, 8.42 x104 ±2711, 1.19 x105 ±4792, 1.12 x105 ±4177, 8.32 x104 ±2329, 8.08 x104 ±2149 CFU/10g and in the sediments the counts were 2.50 x104 ±647, 5.02 x104 ±1852, 3.26 x104 ±1186, 7.65 x104 ±2884, 1.50 x104 ±355, and 2.56 x104 ±737 CFU/10g at sampling site # 1, site # 2, site # 3, site # 4, site # 5 and site # 6, respectively. The present assay could be applied in the detection and regular monitoring of potable water and other environmental samples to check waterborne diseases and outbreaks caused by Citrobacter.","PeriodicalId":20848,"journal":{"name":"RA JOURNAL OF APPLIED RESEARCH","volume":"24 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"86828543","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Transcutaneous Tibial Nerve Stimulation (TTNS) is one of the neuromodulation used to treat overactive bladder. We report the medical rehabilitation program in overactive bladder post-Transurethral Resection of The Prostate (TURP). The medical rehabilitation program consisted of pelvic floor muscle exercise and TTNS that may reduce the overactive bladder symptoms. This study aims to determine whether TTNS and pelvic floor muscle exercise will reduce overactive bladder symptoms after TURP. Case Presentation: a 40-year-old Asian man who developed overactive bladder symptoms after TURP had the medical rehabilitation program consisting of pelvic floor muscle exercise and TTNS. The pelvic floor exercise was given twice a day and TTNS was given twice a week for 12 cycles and repeated for 12 cycles. He was followed up by Over Active Bladder Symptoms Score (OABSS) to assess the severity of symptoms. Conclusion: The medical program rehabilitation that consisted of pelvic floor muscle exercise and TTNS reduced 50% in the severity of overactive bladder symptoms after TURP. No complications have been reported. Need further research to know the definitive result.","PeriodicalId":20848,"journal":{"name":"RA JOURNAL OF APPLIED RESEARCH","volume":"25 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-04-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"72991359","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
