The AE studies clearly indicate the nature of fatigue damage growth. The spring elements started emitting acoustic waves from the very beginning of the fatigue tests. The analysis of characteristic curves of AE signal showed a burst type emission during the initial stages of fatigue. The AE signal parameters of UDR/WRM laminate type-1 spring elements reach their peak at around 27,000cycles. During this period continuous type of AE signals were observed. This continuous type signals could consist of numerous infinite burst type emission and these kinds of signals are different from the burst type signals recorded during the early part of the fatigue life. Once the peak is crossed some continuous and some burst type emission have been observed.","PeriodicalId":20712,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the First International Conference on Combinatorial and Optimization, ICCAP 2021, December 7-8 2021, Chennai, India","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"84327664","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Hence it can be used in sustainable animal feed production. In this study, fish feeds were formulated using wheat flour, fish meal, groundnut oil cake combined with either 25% or 30% of dried Azolla. Fish feeding experiments were conducted with Catla fries in tanks using commercial feed (C), 25% Azolla replaced (T1) and 30% Azolla replaced (T2) feeds. Catla fishes grown in Azolla replaced feed formulations showed higher growth with 2% increase in their body weight compared to control feed. In addition, survival rate and nutrient contents such as carbohydrate, and protein were also found higher in fishes grown in dry Azolla based feeds than commercial feed. This study substantiates that dry Azolla can be used as a cheap nutrient supplement in fish feeds.","PeriodicalId":20712,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the First International Conference on Combinatorial and Optimization, ICCAP 2021, December 7-8 2021, Chennai, India","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"77007720","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this work, hybrid structures from coir nonwoven matts and snippets (finely shredded denim fabric) were developed for determining the sound absorption property. Multilayer density gradient structures were first developed by layering compressed needle punched coir nonwoven matts of increasing densities. The sound absorption behaviour of showed good absorption in the mid and high frequency range because of the increase in density through the thickness that led to better frictional loss of the sound wave. Noise Reduction Coefficient (NRC) of 0.3 was achieved from a gradient density structure comprising of coir fibres alone. Hybrid structure was developed by layering the density gradient coir structure with a sound facing layer (made up of 1mm snippets sprayed on the surface of coir sheet). Addition of snippets formed small sized pores on the surface of the coir sheet thus increasing the surface area. The thin panel like structure of the sound facing layer absorbed low frequency showing characteristic peaks but showed decreased absorption in high frequency. Snippets improved vibrational loss and increased low frequency sound absorption achieving NRC of 0.5.","PeriodicalId":20712,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the First International Conference on Combinatorial and Optimization, ICCAP 2021, December 7-8 2021, Chennai, India","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"78157415","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Cyber Physical systems such as smart grids have the potential to address the future energy crisis. Because of the bidirectional flow of information across various domains in a smart grid, anomaly detection is one of the prime security related challenges. Machine learning models have emerged as one of the prospective artificial intelligence technologies to model supervised and unsupervised data for analysis and prediction. This paper reviews the various anomaly detection schemes in a Smart Grid Infrastructure based on machine learning techniques.","PeriodicalId":20712,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the First International Conference on Combinatorial and Optimization, ICCAP 2021, December 7-8 2021, Chennai, India","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"73129290","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Software Defined Network (SDN) is the networking architecture that segregates the activities of the control plane from the data plane. Man In The Middle (MITM) is a type of digital attack in a network where the attacker utilizes duplicated ARP messages by spoofing the attacker’s MAC address with the authorized user’s IP address. This paper sorts out the ARP spoofing, which is the suite of MITM attacks using IP-MAC address bindings. SDN is emulated using Mininet and the MITM attack over this network is done using arpspoof, which is the segment of the tool named Dsniff. For the evaluation of the proposed algorithm, various network parameters are compared and analyzed in both RYU and POX controllers. As a result, the proposed algorithm mitigates the MITM attack successfully by dropping the attacked packets.","PeriodicalId":20712,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the First International Conference on Combinatorial and Optimization, ICCAP 2021, December 7-8 2021, Chennai, India","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"77023393","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
