Presented implementation is specially adjusted for testing the embedded system, and it will help the assessment of reliability of the system. The focus is on detecting the errors that appear during FlexRay message transfer, messages with corrupted content and unexpected delay of the messages. Beside monitoring and data recording, it is possible to inject faults and replay the captured data. Within the paper there is also a proposed solution of a diagnostic module that collects and displays the unique error code in order to precisely determine the origin of the error that occurred. The proposed antennas realized using Hilbert fractal curves of the third order have been designed to operate at 2.45 GHz according IEEE 802.15.1 standard. Due to specific configuration of the Hilbert fractal curves and mutual coupling between fractal segments, the radiation patterns of the proposed antenna can be significantly changed by changing the line-to-spacing ratio of the Hilbert fractal radiators. The proposed antenna has been fabricated in Low Temperature Co-fired Ceramic (LTCC) technology. Conceptually designed to respond to the most complex requirements of ultra-low latency and extremely high reliability, it was observed as capability to wirelessly control both real and virtual objects, thus requiring tactile-based control signals and audio-visual feedbacks. This vision can improve the user experience in virtual environments in the order of millisecond interaction. Future applications such as autonomous vehicles, haptic healthcare, remote robotics, and robust image processing would use the Tactile Internet and related technologies. Software-defined networking and network function virtualization, together with edge-fog computing, can be seen as new wave toward the efficient and flexible infrastructure. This work provides a comprehensive survey on recent progress and enabling technologies proposed for the Tactile Internet. Switched quantizer leads to the achievement of better performances. In this way, variance range is split into quantizers and for each of them a separate quantizer is designed. Performances are computed depending on various input parameters and optimal ones are found according to two different criteria. Within the variance range, every quantizer has own model with a two-stage coder. The key idea is to employ all available degrees of freedom (DOFs) to convey the information over the wireless links including amplitude, phase, polarization state, and spatial-domain DOFs. In particular, the OAM is associated with azimuthal phase dependence of the wavefront, and represents an underutilized DOF. Given that OAM eigenstates are orthogonal, an arbitrary number of bits per symbol can be transmitted. To implement OAM multiplexer and demultiplexer in the RF domain, we propose to use a properly designed antenna arrays. Stepped frequency radar suffers from large data collection time due to large number of pulses with different frequencies sent. Our approach uses a baseband stepped frequency signal, which is upconverted to RF, and, then, frequency hopping the RF frequency. In this way, a low cost hardware with moderate instantaneous RF bandwidth can be used. The total time for hopping all the frequencies, i.e. the data collection time, is also reduced.
