Abstract

This paper shows one solution for testing the communication through FlexRay bus, which connects multiple Electronic Control Units (ECUs) in the system. Presented implementation is specially adjusted for testing the embedded system, and it will help the assessment of reliability of the system. The focus is on detecting the errors that appear during FlexRay message transfer, messages with corrupted content and unexpected delay of the messages. Beside monitoring and data recording, it is possible to inject faults and replay the captured data.
