We also propose a new approach to modeling aerial manipulation systems based on the dynamics of floating base systems with tree structures, such as those studied in bio-inspired soft robotics and space robotics. This system presents many challenges, such as asymmetry, continuously changing inertia, and the center of gravity. These challenges pose a significant control problem in the trajectory tracking of an aerial manipulation robot. For this reason, a robust control technique based on the sliding mode controller is proposed to achieve a high accuracy 3D trajectory tracking objective. As a result, designing an underwater vehicle (ROV/AUV: Remotely Operated Vehicle/Autonomous Underwater Vehicle) for the inspection and exploration of seabed and dams can replace the human being in this task and avoid emptying for maintenance work. In this article we will present a design of a low-cost ROV for observation based on the various existing underwater robots. Two electrode configurations have been considered: (a) wire-to-plane, and (b) two wires-to-plane, with three different values of the distance between the wires (0.2 cm, 1 cm, and 2 cm). Each wire is subjected to a high positive voltage and the plane is grounded. The electric field and the space charge density have been obtained by solving numerically the continuity equation for the charged particles coupled to Poisson equation. In this paper, the lightning effect is included by two current sources located at the line terminations. The proposed topology is based on photovoltaic generator and battery-based storage system. In order to supply a nonlinear load, a three phase Z-source inverter is inserted. A system model is developed to design the PI and IP controllers of the DC-link. The proportional Resonant controller is also used to ensure a good tracking between the output AC voltage and its desired sinusoidal reference, and reduce the lower harmonics caused by the nonlinear load. The set of the control parameters is optimized by using the well-known Particle Swarm optimizer (PSO). We propose in this paper a new segmentation algorithm based on a high level informative scheme, which describes and identifies different geometric forms in a word, and use them to segment words in characters. The informative scheme we propose gives us the description of skeleton points, their coordinates, natures and number of their neighbors in 8-neighborhood. This allows the extraction of representative primitives of characteristics points that are used in the segmentation phase. This paper deals with the study of the behavior of the welding machine GMAW in healthy and faulty cases, under the faulty case; the open-circuit fault occurs at the switches in one of two rectifiers. This paper proposes the inclusion of a new method for diagnosing the faults; it adopts the threshold band technique for early detection of open-circuit faults related to Thyristor switches, it also depends on the polar coordinates technique to accurately locate the faulty switches. Therefore, this paper proposes the installation of fault-tolerant rectifiers. The photovoltaic cell is the basic electronic component of the system. It uses the photoelectric effect to convert the electromagnetic waves (radiation) emitted by the Sun into electricity. Several interconnected cells from a solar panel and the electrical energy are consumed or stored on-site, which is transported by the electric transmission network. A system of photovoltaic panels connected to an electrical network is ensured by the use of an electrical conversion chain to generate the energy under the best conditions (reliable conditions). The PEMFC provides the mean power required by the load while the pack of batteries ensures the pick demand and stores the recovered energy. The two sources are connected to a DC bus using two high gain DC-DC boost converters. The control of these converters, in addition to the DC bus regulation and the power management strategy, ensure the satisfaction of the load power demand, increase the PEMFC lifetime, charge the batteries and keep their state of charge (SoC) within an acceptable range. To maintain the mission, we should size well the battery-pack and proceed to the qualification and integration tests to cover the power budget fixed to the mission (Low Earth orbit-LEO, Geosynchronous Transfer orbit-GTO, Medium Earth orbit-MEO or Geostationary earth orbit-GEO). The development of the on-board energy power system (EPS) of satellite requires validation and qualification phases before opting for the modules to be integrated into aerospace flight subsystem. In this work we propose solution to cover the specific testing need of the electrical energy storage module of CubeSat, this by developing a test system emulator to get closer and closer to its orbit operating. The proposed system consists of a platform (Hardware / Software) allowing to the battery cells (Li-Ion, LiPo technologies) pre-selected for space mission to live the same constraints of the satellite in orbit through predefined and reconfigurable cycles or micro-cycles of charge/discharge, which can be looped until the end of satellite life (EOL).
