Selection of patients was done from Department of Stree Roga and Prasuti Tantra OPD.\u0000Results: The efficacy of the drug was evaluated according to the relief in signs and symptoms after the treatment was completed. In trial group, in all the symptoms like PV bleeding, size of sub chorionic hematoma, abdominal pain, back pain, generalized weakness and fatigue statistical analysis showed highly significant difference between before and after treatment. Size of sub chorionic hematoma was observed sonographically BT and AT. Also, in another group, in which progesterone was given showed significant improvement in signs and symptoms of threatened abortion. Discussion and Conclusion: The symptomatic parameters were compared and analyzed statistically by Mann Whitney’s U test in both the groups which concluded that Guduchyadi Vati and progesterone both are effective in prevention of threatened abortion but Guduchyadi Vati is more effective in reducing associated symptoms then progesterone.","PeriodicalId":20643,"journal":{"name":"Proposed for presentation at the 2020 Virtual MRS Fall Meeting & Exhibit held November 27 - December 4, 2020.","volume":"112 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-12-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"87105195","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Cow milk is said to be one of the most commonly consumed amongst the many kinds available. Human beings are the only species that drink the milk of another species, specially cow’s milk. Besides humans no species drinks milk beyond their natural age of weaning or drinks the milk of another species. Some Constituents of Cow milk may be useful, and some may be harmful to human beings. Depending upon the variants of β-casein (30% of cows’ milk-proteins) found genetically, the Milk is divided into A1 and A2 type. Cow milk is deficient in essential fatty acids as compared to human milk. A1 and A2 milk variants differ by a single amino acid. A1 type of milk has serious health hazards on hu-mans. In order to fulfill the increasing demand and make profitable business, today the farmers are exces-sively using the Chemical drugs, antibiotics, forced feeding plans, Hormones and specialized breeding plan to increase the milk production. All these additives are having serious health adverse effects on both ani-mals and consumers of Godugdha (Cow milk). In the Ayurvedic Literature, three factors i.e. Ahara, Nidra and Brahmacharya are compared with the triangles are termed as the three Upastambhas or Tripods. The inclusion of sleep in the three Upastambhas establishes its value. While explaining about Nidra, Acharyas stated that delight and sorrow, growth and wasting, strength and weakness, virility and impotence, the knowledge and ignorance as well as the survival of life and its termination depend on the sleep. The different theories stated regarding the phenomena Ayurveda regards Nidra (sleep) as one of the most essential factors responsible for a healthy and fulfilling life. Humans spend almost a third of their lifetime sleeping.1 Good sleep is essential and advantageous to the quality of life. A number of vital physiological changes occur during sleep.
