However, these predictions do not always result in the best possible performance. In some cases, many errors are generated, and the teacher cannot take corrective actions in time. For this reason, we propose in this paper a new recommender system that focuses on the optimization of prediction performance using Learning Analytics indicators. This system proposes to the user the best set of learning indicators producing the best possible prediction performance. Indeed, the proposed recommendation system has been tested for many prediction tasks and can be adapted to many machine learning algorithms. The results show that the system is suitable for several prediction tasks as well as classification and regression algorithms. Thus, the recommender was evaluated using many metrics such as accuracy, ROC-AUC score, R2 score, and RMSE, among others, resulting in 99% and 98% accuracy for binary classification and multi-class classification tasks, respectively. As well as an R2 score of 92% for the regression task.","PeriodicalId":206411,"journal":{"name":"2022 International Conference on Advanced Aspects of Software Engineering (ICAASE)","volume":"12 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-09-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121352972","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Their effect on the maintenance procedure is now being examined. Recent studies have investigated this issue by employing qualitative methodologies based on a subjective analysis. This article presents the evaluation study’s preliminary findings, which show the advantages of integrating augmented reality tools for maintenance jobs. To provide decision-makers with the quantitative information they need to maintain AR systems more successfully. A multi-criteria decion model based on a combination of AHP and Fuzzy-TOPSIS approaches was suggested. To examine the suggested model and identify its global applicability and potentialities, an experiment and case study on the assessment of an on-site maintenance service for an AR system was studied.","PeriodicalId":206411,"journal":{"name":"2022 International Conference on Advanced Aspects of Software Engineering (ICAASE)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-09-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129962127","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To address this concern, this paper proposes a new formal Domain specific Modelling Language (DSML) called DSysML for DES modelling. The proposed DSML extends the Block Definition D iagram (BDD) and Internal Block Diagram (IBD) SysML diagrams to include electronic concepts, and employs a familiar graphical notation from the DES domain. This enables modelling DES systems at a high–level of abstraction. Due to its formal semantics, DSysML makes it possible to validate DES designs through simulation and formal verification. Nevertheless, the lack of mechanisms for verifying posted information has given rise to a widespread of fake news and rumors. This paper particularly examined a real case of political rumor spreading that marked the Algerian online space for a few months between the end of the year 2020 and the beginning of 2021. It concerns the rumors that have circulated on the social platform YouTube about the health of the President of the Algerian Republic Abdelmadjid Tebboune. By this contribution, we aimed to detect the stances of the Algerian online public towards these rumors by following a Transfer Learning approach. The experiments on the collected data reported good performance of monolingual transformers compared to multilingual transformers in the task of rumor stance classification.","PeriodicalId":206411,"journal":{"name":"2022 International Conference on Advanced Aspects of Software Engineering (ICAASE)","volume":"2013 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-09-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127333933","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Teachers and learners are able in such a way to interact collaboratively with the virtual objects in an intuitive and a natural manner by using voice commands and/or vocal inquiries to participate in the course and acquire knowledge. Each user is able to perform, during a real-time educational session, their own actions (selection, rotation, scale) over virtual objects and see and/or hear else’s actions and/or effects synchronously. Visual clues are added to enhance the context awareness and allow each user to recognize who else is acting/speaking at a given time in the group.","PeriodicalId":206411,"journal":{"name":"2022 International Conference on Advanced Aspects of Software Engineering (ICAASE)","volume":"14 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-09-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126948460","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This is because each operation in a program takes time to be executed, and this time may vary depending on its inputs and the characteristics of the microprocessor on which it runs. With accurate time measurements for each operation, it may be possible for an attacker to discover secrets through the analysis of the execution time of a program. This paper presents an automatable approach for detecting information leakage in programs through timing information. It is based on the Z3-SMT solver. It allows to detect vulnerabilities in a software code according to a given security specification and target architecture. This paper also features some research issues that will be addressed during my thesis.","PeriodicalId":206411,"journal":{"name":"2022 International Conference on Advanced Aspects of Software Engineering (ICAASE)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-09-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133190185","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The advantages of Cloud computing have encouraged many enterprises to migrate to it and adapt its services. Sometimes users’ requests are not met from only one cloud and to better satisfy users’ complex requirements in front of the huge number of cloud services, multiple services from the various cloud can be combined by using Cloud Service Composition (SC). SC is an NP-Hard problem divided into services selection and service composition. Few works have combined these two sub-problem for service composition in a Multi-cloud environment. In this paper, we propose an approach to Service Composition in a Multi-Cloud environment based on cooperative Agents to merge these two sub-problems. Artificial intelligence applications based on machine and deep learning techniques are more effective and applicable in such cases. In this work, an approach for automatic COVID-19 diagnosis using chest X-ray images is proposed. In this paper, AlexNet, VGG16, and VGG19 deep learning architectures were used to extract the useful and relevant features. These features were then used as inputs to the support vector machine (SVM) with two discrete outputs: COVID-19 or No-findings. Furthermore, the Bayesian optimization (BO) algorithm was used to tune the parameters of the SVM classifier and choose the optimal parameters. The results of the study indicate that the VGG16-SVM-BO and VGG19-SVM-BO models give the best performance with an accuracy of 99.47%. According to this result, the proposed approach can effectively contribute to the diagnosis of COVID-19.","PeriodicalId":206411,"journal":{"name":"2022 International Conference on Advanced Aspects of Software Engineering (ICAASE)","volume":"27 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-09-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132905219","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

These big data can play a significant part to understand the often issues nature and help improve performances of several sectors, including higher education. However, it is not possible for higher education big data owners to go through all data and make critical decisions for the improvement of the sector. Here comes the importance of big data analytics. Due to the lack of big educational datasets, we eventually explore the three phases of big data analytics (descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics) and their benefits through a case study where machine learning techniques were applied to predict student performance. We used an educational dataset collected from the Kalboard 360 learning management system. We end up giving recommendations and advice to improve student performance and convince educational institutions to use and benefit from their data.","PeriodicalId":206411,"journal":{"name":"2022 International Conference on Advanced Aspects of Software Engineering (ICAASE)","volume":"129 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-09-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114820650","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
