For this issue, the reflection and transmission coefficient expressions of longitudinal and transverse waves with the dimensionless parameter of ωτ in the trilaminar plate-like adhesive structure are derived when the adhesive layer is assumed to be viscoelastic material with a relaxed time of τ. Aluminum-epoxy resin-polystyrene adhesive structure is taken as an example to analyze the impact of changes in the angle of incidence on acoustic wave reflection and transmission characteristics. Numerical results show that regardless of the value of ωτ, interface form can not be identified in the case of normal incidence or grazing incidence of longitudinal wave. In a particular products of frequency-thickness, if the angle of incidence is appropriate, the methods of reflection and transmission coefficients of longitudinal wave or transverse wave reflection coefficient can be adopted to detect the perfect, sliding and weak bonding interfaces. The results provide a theoretical basis for the experiment of the adhesive structure by means of ultrasonic testing.","PeriodicalId":205914,"journal":{"name":"2015 Symposium on Piezoelectricity, Acoustic Waves, and Device Applications (SPAWDA)","volume":"123 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-12-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122511709","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

An enhanced LVDS transmission protocol is developed in this paper for reliable high-speed board-to-board LVDS data transmission in rail flaw ultrasonic testing system. The protocol, which is based on 8B/10B encoding and dynamic time-delay adjustment, avoids the data missing in AC coupling transfer between boards and guarantees the accuracy of the high-speed acquisition in receiver. Experiment results show that the enhanced LVDS transmission protocol can achieve a reliable transmission up to 1.25Gbps between boards and satisfy the requirement of high-speed data transmission in rail flaw ultrasonic testing system. The analysis has been done with the 3-D Finite Element Analysis (FEA) for displacements and vibration frequency at the thickness-shear mode, which is important in the design of quartz crystal resonators. Trapped modes are found with vibrations mainly confined under the circular electrodes. The method of accelerating the aging of wine by different ultrasonic wave is reported. A system has been built up. Three kinds of composite rod transducers are mounted at the bottom of three cylindrical steel barrel. The diameter of cylindrical steel barrel is 300 mm, 400 mm, and 500 mm, respectively. The resonant frequency of transducers is 25 kHz, 40 kHz, 60 kHz, respectively. The barrel is filled with water and the temperature of water is 20°C. The sound pressure level in the barrel is 170 dB, 180 dB, 200 dB, respectively. When sound pressure level is 200 dB, acoustic cavitation is observed. The wine, which is brewed by sorghum and wheat, is contained in five glass bottles, and considered to be one sample. Then, each sample is put into the barrel. The alcohol content in the wine is 70.0. At a certain sound pressure level, the working time is 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 20 minutes, respectively. In total, there are 27 samples of wine by the treatment of ultrasonic wave. Besides, an origin sample without ultrasonic wave treatment is selected as the comparison. The sound field distribution of the barrel is simulated by the software of VIRTUAL LAB. In the simulation, sound field distribution of the barrel is not uniform and each sample should be spatially averaged. The total acid, total ester, ethyl lactate, ethyl caproate, and alcohol content of each sample have been tested. The test period is 1 hour, 2 days, 4 days, 8 days, 30 days, respectively, after the process of ultrasonic wave treatment. The effect of ultrasonic wave on alcohol content, total acid, total ester, ethyl lactate, ethyl caproate has been discussed.","PeriodicalId":205914,"journal":{"name":"2015 Symposium on Piezoelectricity, Acoustic Waves, and Device Applications (SPAWDA)","volume":"26 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-12-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133016984","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The harmonic solutions should satisfy the governing equations of each layer. Then, the dispersion relations can be obtained by the continuity conditions and boundary conditions. The dispersion curves are compared with the results when the electrodes are treated as inertia layers for model simplification. As a conclusion, the simplification usually used in dealing with quartz resonator will lead to an unacceptable error due to a big mass ratio of FBARs. The LDA+U method is employed to account for the strong correlation of the electronic states in the Nb 4d orbitals. Charge distributions as well as structural and electronic properties are discussed depending on the charge state. The NbLi5+ antisite is found to introduce a localized level within the LiNbO3 fundamental gap that is almost resonant with the conduction band edge. This level can be occupied either by a one or by two electrons. In the latter case, a major rearrangement of the atomic position occurs, and a covalent bond along the rhombohedral [111] direction between the antisite NbLi and a Nb at a regular lattice site is formed.","PeriodicalId":205914,"journal":{"name":"2015 Symposium on Piezoelectricity, Acoustic Waves, and Device Applications (SPAWDA)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-12-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130829038","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
