Its aim was to describe the release of BisGMA and TEGDMA monomers from composite core resin over three time periods. For this purpose, five Clearfil Photo Core resin samples were prepared and elution was measured using high performance liquid chromatography at 1, 7 and 28 days post-immersion in 75% ethanol. Different gas volume flows are set to vary the energy input during tape laying at 1 m/s. The tape preforms are characterized by means of thickness measurements, microsection analysis, peel-test, compression thermal analysis and flexural test to assess the degree of consolidation. Subsequently to ATL, tape preforms are processed in stamp forming at different pressure settings in a rapid-closing downstroke press. The resulting laminates are analyzed to assess the influence of tape preform consolidation and molding pressure. The results reveal a dependency between gas volume flow during automated tape laying and consolidation of the correspondent tape preforms. Zhao","doi":"10.1177/09673911221095410","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.1177/09673911221095410","url":null,"abstract":"In this paper, a rotating functionally graded (FG) polymer nanocomposite shaft-disk assembly reinforced with graphene nanoplatelets (GPLs) resting on elastic supports is modelled and its vibration behaviours are analysed. The effective material properties of the shaft and disk are assumed to vary along their radius directions and determined via the Halpin–Tsai model together with the rule of mixture. Different non-uniform and uniform distributions of GPLs in the rotating assembly are taken into account. In accordance with the finite element (FE) method, the modelling and free vibration analysis of the nanocomposite shaft-disk rotor system is conducted. To verify the present analysis, both the theoretical and experimental methods are employed.
