Commission Regulation (EU) 2018/1881 of 03/12/2018 amending the REACH regulation with regard to Annexes I, III, VI-XII is the first normative act on chemicals that sets out the requirements for the registration of nanoforms of substances. The new requirements for nanomaterials will serve to implement the principle of legal certainty in this area. The presented analysis of the introduced amendments to the annexes to the REACH regulation indicates some shortcomings of the new legal regulations.","PeriodicalId":20319,"journal":{"name":"Polimery","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":1.6,"publicationDate":"2022-10-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"41759478","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":4,"RegionCategory":"工程技术","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Changes of mechanical properties and the gloss of resins and coatings were determined. The structure of materials was confirmed using scanning microscopy SEM and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy FTIR; thermogravimetric TGA and DTG studies were also performed. It turned out that the gloss of finished protective coatings was worse than the gloss of individual resins, and aging significantly lowered these values (from 81.3° to 8.9° in case of resins and from 61.1° to 2.8° in case of coatings after 1200 hours of irradiation). Tensile strength of resins decreased constantly during aging while their elongation at break decreased than increased reaching minimum at exposure time of 100 hours. In case of coatings, both tensile strength and elongation at break firstly decreased than increased reaching minimum at exposure time of 800 hours; after long exposure time, more than 1200 hours, these properties decreased again.","PeriodicalId":20319,"journal":{"name":"Polimery","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":1.6,"publicationDate":"2022-09-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"42282751","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":4,"RegionCategory":"工程技术","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Antiblocking and lubricating agents, 020—04, 020—15 and Lifoslip 220 PE were added as PE concetrates. Experimental extrusions in a Brabender Plastic-Corder (PLV 151 type) were carried out at screw speed 0.75 s-1, three-heating-zones temperatures 160oC, 170oC and 170oC, extruder head temperature 170oC, and extrusion velocity 1.72 mm/s. The pressure in the extruder head, the turning moment measured on the extruder screw, and the flow rate rose as the Mg(OH)2 content was increased (Figs. 1-3). With the Lifoslip agent, the pressure and the turning moment attained the lowest values. At high Mg(OH)2 contents, 57.5 and 60%, the pressure and the turning moment had values close to those attained with other auxiliary agents.","PeriodicalId":20319,"journal":{"name":"Polimery","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":1.6,"publicationDate":"2022-09-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"48219773","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":4,"RegionCategory":"工程技术","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Increasing the content of NAPAH (0.5−3.0 wt.%) had a positive effect on PLLA crystallization, while an increase in the cooling rate and heating temperature had a negative effect. In the case of isothermal crystallization carried out for a long time (180 min), the melting process depended only on the crystallization temperature. NAPAH also influenced the cold crystallization temperature, reduced thermal stability and improved PLLA processability (MFR).","PeriodicalId":20319,"journal":{"name":"Polimery","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":1.6,"publicationDate":"2022-09-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"48620890","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":4,"RegionCategory":"工程技术","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The main protease (Mpro) of SARS-CoV-2 and spike glycoprotein (S) are both suppressed by bioactive compounds found in plants that work by docking them together. The Mpro proteins 6LU7 (complex with an inhibitor N3) and 5C3N (space group C2221) were employed in docking research. PyRx and AutoDock Vina software were used as docking engine. 22 identified phytoconstituents were selected from IMPPAT, a manually curated database, on the basis of their antiviral effects. Docking studies showed that phytoconstituents β-amyrin (-8.4 kcal/mol), withaferin A (-8.3 kcal/mol), oleanolic acid (-7.8 kcal/mol), and patentiflorin A (-8.1 kcal/mol) had the best results against 5C3N Mpro protein whereas kuwanon L (-7.1 kcal/mol), β-amyrin (-6.9 kcal/mol), oleanolic acid (-6.8 kcal/mol), cucurbitacin D (-6.5 kcal/mol), and quercetin (-6.5 kcal/mol) against 6LU7 Mpro protein.
