This novel technology functions like properties of human skin, capable of measuring pressure, temperature and vibration. Technically, it’s a self-healing Robot For instance if robots are wrapped in an electronic material that mimics as human skin; theoretically it can also sense objects that is too hot or too cold or if more or less pressure needs to be exerted on an object. If this material is beyond repair, then it can be soaked in a solution that separates out the silver nanoparticles then be fully recycled into new usable material [1] (Figure 1).","PeriodicalId":203129,"journal":{"name":"Advances in Robotics & Mechanical Engineering","volume":"7 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-03-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126832165","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A Robot Farmer is just a one of the new technologies that will completely transform agriculture sector. Today’s agricultural technology helps farmers to plow and spray crops. In an improved automation and big data analytics with farming robot technology are pointing out to big benefits. Goldman Sachs estimates precision farming – the combination of agriculture and technology could be around $240 billion market by 2050. As per Euro monitor intersection of robotics, artificial intelligence, analytics and machines for precision farming is one of the top industry’s top opportunities. In Europe, Spanish company called Agrobot has developed a strawberry farming robot. It uses up to 24 robotic arms to pick fruit and is capable of autonomous navigation. In England, Dogtooth Technologies are developing its own series of autonomous robots capable of picking fruit. Dogtooth machines are proficient enough of autonomous navigation, locating and picking ripe fruit and grading its quality [1] (Figure 1).","PeriodicalId":203129,"journal":{"name":"Advances in Robotics & Mechanical Engineering","volume":"95 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-03-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114502183","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Also, as a stage of drop disintegration through the phase of a film flow [6], etc. In fact, the first two phenomena may occur together in real cases [4,5]. Such liquid gas (vapor) interfaces are prone to different types of instability. The jet’s stability increases in infinite medium by increasing viscosities of jet and medium [7-9]. Robots can be used to aid people with cognitive, sensory and motor impairments [2]. They can also act as caregivers to ill, injured or elderly people [3]. They are also being utilized in performing complex surgeries in a trained manner [4]. Since long they have also been used to go inside the human body and scan for varied ailments etc. Robots are physically embodied machines that allow precise and real-time movement of instruments and perform functions in an accurate manner eradicating chances of human error [2]. Advancements in technology especially the proliferation of IoT based solutions has transformed a normal human life into smart living through creation of smart environments, smart homes and smart cities [5,6]. Advancements in medical sciences have further created avenues for smart healthcare solutions [7]. This manuscript gives a brief overview of how robotics is been used to enable smart healthcare to improve human life.","PeriodicalId":203129,"journal":{"name":"Advances in Robotics & Mechanical Engineering","volume":"2 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-01-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121921369","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Correct computing of and gyroscopic properties enables for the functioning of the gyroscopic devices in engineering. Since the Industrial Revolution published many gyroscope theories as well as many approaches and mathematical solutions that describe the gyroscope properties [1-4]. Numerous publications described the gyroscope effects and applications in engineering [5,6]. All of them describe gyroscope properties only in terms of the law of conservation of energy and the angular momentum. Nevertheless, the nature of gyroscope effects is more complex and known theories do not match the practice of gyroscopic devices [7-9]. Therefore, researchers continue to find true mathematical models of gyroscopic effects [10-14]. New research in the area of the gyroscope theory gives the new mathematical models for inertial forces acting on a gyroscope [15,16]. These publications demonstrate that on rotating objects act the several inertial forces of their mass-elements that express the resistance and precession torques. The centrifugal and Coriolis forces of the rotating masselements result in the resistance torques. The common inertial forces and the change in the angular momentum result in the precession torques. Table 1 represents the equations of the inertial torques acting on rotating objects. The action of the new inertial and external torques of the rotating objects should be considered for the mathematical modeling of the work of mechanism in engineering (Table 1).","PeriodicalId":203129,"journal":{"name":"Advances in Robotics & Mechanical Engineering","volume":"109 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-01-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132675644","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In a recent short communications article titled “Insight into Bio Inspired Robotics” by Shaikh and Begum [1] present a bio inspired model of robotics that among other things includes soft robotics, plantoids and cyborgs. This is an interesting article for many reasons, such as the mimicry of living organisms to generate form and movement (biomimicry), inspiration from nature to create intelligent robotics that exceed the imagination in terms of their embodiment, and relevant to this short piece, the relationship between robotics and humans. Often times cyborgs and cyborgism are considered new concepts. Particularly in light of movements such as body hackers, artists (Neil Harbisson, Moon Ribas, Stelarc and active scientist-developers Steve Mann and Kevin Warwick), the idea of the cyborg has become synonymous with the implantation of information technology into the human body. Discussions of the post-human focus on traits of artificial construction and especially the role that information has on the definition and framing of humans as a whole the discourse and representation of human groups see e.g., Haraway [2].","PeriodicalId":203129,"journal":{"name":"Advances in Robotics & Mechanical Engineering","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-01-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131380664","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
