In its application to the conservation area, Kapoposang was developing a multi-criteria approach to determine the no-take zone, utilization zone, and sustainable fisheries zone. The multi-criteria approach in Kapoposang constructed by biophysics, ecology, economy and social aspect. Decisions were taken after aggregate analysis of all criteria (Brawn et al 2001) done. The results obtained that the suitable island for the no-take zone is Kapoposang and Suranti Island. Tambakulu Island and Pemangangan were selected as a buffer zone. Finally, the sustainable fisheries zones are Papandangan and Gondongbali island. The spatial analysis of all regional boundaries determined by the three zones reached a total area of 50011.35 ha. This utilization must be carried out in a controlled manner to preserve the sustainability of the mangrove ecosystem. This study aims to determine the extent and the current structure of the mangrove community in Baturapa Village. The research was conducted in the mangrove area of Baturapa Village, Lolak District, Bolaang Mongondow Regency, North Sulawesi Province in March 2019.The method used was the line transect method to see the mangrove community structure including density, frequency, species dominance and Important Value Index (INP) and diversity index (H’). Mangrove area was calculated using Google earth pro and ArcGis 10.4 software. The outcomes of the calculation of the area of mangrove in the village of Baturapa are 37.4 hectares. The results of the identification of mangroves in the coastal area of Baturapa Village, Lolak District, Bolaang Mongondow Regency, have 11 species, with 111 total individuals. Of the 3 line transects, the highest species density is Rhizophora stylosa, 800 trees / ha (line transect III) with relative density ( KR) 57.1%, while Tthe highest frequency of species is Rhizophora stylosa with a value of 1.0 with a relative frequency (FR) of 50% (line transect III). The highest species dominance is Rhizophora mucronata with a value of 4.6 where relative dominance (DR) is 53.4% (line transect II). Furthermore, the highest species value index (INP) is Rhizophora stylosa with a value of 118.6 (line transect III). Line transect I has the highest diversity index (H;) with a value of 1.99. A value of 1.99 (H’) greater than 1 and smaller 3.3 means that productivity is sufficient, ecosystem conditions are quite balanced and ecological pressure is moderate.Keywords: Baturapa Village, mangrove area, density, frequency, dominance, index important value, mangrove diversity indexABSTRAKMasyarakat Desa Baturapa memanfaatan mangrove untuk memenuhi berbagai kebutuhan hidupnya (kayu bakar, bahan pembangunan rumah,pewarna jarin dan bahan baku pembuatan bunga sintetis). In addition to the seagrass community, there are also distinctive coastal communities such as mangroves and coral reefs. Coastal resources in this region are often used by the local community as a food source and have been used as a place of recreation and hotels as well. This is the reason for this study to find out the existence of gastropods on the seagrass beds in the Tongkeina area. It is expected that this study will provide information on the development and existence of the gastropods in coping with the pressure due to the construction of the hotel several years before. The methods of analysis used in this study including identification of gastropods, density, dominance, and diversity. The same research has been conducted several years before, and therefore this information was used as a comparison of the development of gastropods in the area. Thirty-five species (23 genera) were identified, with the highest density recorded was Nassarius gruneri, 0.8667 Individual/m², the dominance of 0.13972, and diversity (H'= 2.6853) which is greater than the results of the previous study 5 years ago (H’=1,9382). These results indicate that these waters are in the process of improving from previous environmental conditions.Keywords : Gastropod, coastal, domination, diversity, Tongkeina. ABSTRAKPerairan pesisir Tongkeina memiliki wilayah pasang surut relatif luas. Selain komunitas Lamun,   juga  terdapat komunitas khas wilayah pesisir lainnya seperti Mangrove dan Terumbu karang. Sumber daya pesisir di wilayah ini  sering digunakan  untuk kebutuhan makanan masyarakat, di samping itu telah dimanfaatkan sebagai tempat rekreasi dan  Hotel. Hal ini menjadi alasan untuk mengetahui keberadaan Gastropoda di hamparan Lamun di daerah Tongkeina.  Diharapkan dapat memberikan informasi perkembangan keberadaan Gastropoda, setelah melewati tekanan akibat dibangunnya hotel sejak beberapa tahun sebelumnya. Metoda analisis yaitu jenis-jenis Gastropoda, kepadatan, dominasi, dan keanekaragaman. The method used was purposive random sampling and quadrat plot of 20 plots measuring 1m x 1m. Data analysis used diversity index Shannon and Wienner, value index, density, frequency and dominance index. The results of the study were found on the coast of Parantin Beach, namely; 27 species from 4 classes of Echinodermata which include the class Asteroidea (starfish), Echinodea (sea urchins), the class Holothuroidea (Teripang) and the class Ophioroidea (Star snake). Diversity index value on the coast of Paranti, namely at Station I (0.40); Station II (1.56) and at Station III (1.50). This number shows that the diversity of Echinoderms in Paranti Beach at Station I is relatively low and that for Station II and III are abundant.Keywords: Diversity, Echinodermata, Talaud Islands Regency ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis keanekaragaman Echinodermata di Pantai Paranti, Kecamatan Rainis, Kabupaten Kepulauan Talaud provinsi Sulawesi Utara. Metode yang digunakan adalah purposive random sampling dan petak kuadrat sebanyak 20 petakyang berukuran 1m x 1m. Analisi data yang digunakan indeks diversitas Shanon dan Wienner, indeks nilai pentinh, Kepadatan, frekuensi dan indeks dominansi. Hasil penelitian ditemukan dipesisir Pantai Parantin yaitu; 27 spesies dari 4 kelas Echinodermata yang termasuk yaitu kelas Asteroidea (bintang laut), Echinodea (Bulu babi), kelas Holothuroidea (Teripang) dan kelas Ophioroidea (Bintang ular). Nilai indeks Keanekaragaman di pantai Paranti yaitu pada Stasiun I (0,40); Stasiun II (1,56) dan pada Stasiun III (1,50). Jumlah ini menunjukan bahwa Keanekaragaman Echinodermata di Pantai Paranti pada Stasiun I tergolong rendah dan untuk Stasiun II dan III sedang melimpah.Kata kunci: Keanekaragaman, Echinodermata, Kabupaten Kepulauan Talaud ","PeriodicalId":202638,"journal":{"name":"JURNAL PERIKANAN DAN KELAUTAN TROPIS","volume":"42 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-07-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114968293","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
