The fishing activities studied are using the fishing areas around the waters of  North Sulawesi Province namely the Sulawesi Sea and The Maluku Sea which are included in WPP 715 and 716 based on tuna catch landed data on PPS Bitung. The purpose of this study was to analyze the value of sustainable potential by looking at the level of utilization and Maximum Sustainable Yield (MSY) of tuna in the waters around North Sulawesi Province based on a surplus production model approach (Schaefer Model). This research is expected to be used as a consideration in the management of tuna stocks around the waters of North Sulawesi Province, and can be used as a basis for further research. This study uses a secondary data collection method in the form of fishery statistics documents. The data used are data from tuna fishing and fishing (effort), from 2014 to 2018 (5 years). The results showed that the sustainable potential of tuna fisheries around the waters of North Sulawesi Province based on North Sulawesi PPS data indicated that, the sustainable potential value of tuna that could be caught was 14,173.51 tons / year which is counted as 80% of the value of tuna resources around the waters of North Sulawesi Province. PPS Bitung data which amounted to 17,716.15 tons / year for Hmsy, 1,200.15 trips / year for Emsy, with an average CPUE value of 2014-2018 of 19 tons / trip. The level of tuna utilization around the waters of North Sulawesi Province is based on data from PPS Bitung in 2014, 2017 and 2018 which indicate that there were indications of overfishing with the largest utilization rate in 2014 which reached a value of 155.09%.Keywords: tuna, Bitung, Bitung PPS, sustainable potential, MSY. ABSTRAKKegiatan penelitian ini berlangsung di Kota Bitung, Provinsi Sulawesi Utara dengan kegiatan berpusat di Pelabuhan Perikanan Samudera (PPS) Bitung, yang dimulai  dari pertengahan bulan Maret hingga bulan April 2019. Aktivitas perikanan tangkap yang ditelaah berlangsung di sekitar perairan Provinsi Sulawesi Utara yaitu Laut Sulawesi dan Laut Maluku yang masuk ke dalam WPP 715 dan 716 berdasarkan data tangkapan tuna yang didaratkan di PPS Bitung. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis nilai potensi lestari dengan melihat tingkat pemanfaatan dan maximum sustainable yield (MSY) ikan tuna di sekitar perairan Provinsi Sulawesi Utara berdasarkan pendekatan model produksi surplus (Model Schaefer). Penelitan ini diharapkan dapat digunakan sebagai bahan pertimbangan dalam pengelolaan stok ikan tuna di sekitar perairan Provinsi Sulawesi Utara, serta dapat digunakan sebagai dasar untuk penelitian selanjutnya.  Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pengumpulan data sekunder berbentuk dokumen. Samples were taken from fishermen in July and August 2018. Total samples collected were 35 individuals, 20 indivduals from Tolour and 15 from Kaweng. Furthermore, the fish were brought the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Science, and data recording was in the Freshwater Bioecology Laboratory. They consisted of 16 males and 19 females. Male length ranged from 25.8 to 43.2 cm, and female from 22.0 to 39.6 cm. The weight of males ranged from 157-755 g and female between 38-422g.Weight-length relationship in this study was W = 0.0017L3.4517 for sex combination, W = 0.0116L2.9161 for males and W = 0.0009L3,6426 for females. The growth pattern for combied sex was isometric (b = 3.457). The growth pattern was isometric (b = 2.9161) for male and allometric positive (b = 3.6426) for females. The relative condition factor (Kn) of all individuals was 1.06 ± 0.44, 1.01 ± 0.13 for males and 1.01 ± 0.58 for femaleKey Words: Tondano Lake, Snakehead Fish, Weight-length, condition factor ABSTRAKPengambilan sampel dilakukan di dua tempat yaitu, Kelurahan Tolour Kecamatan Tondano Timur dan Desa Kaweng Kecamatan  Kakas. Sampel diambil dari hasil tangkapan nelayan pada Bulan Juli dan  Agustus 2018. Sampel yang terkumpul  sebanyak 35 ekor, 20 sampel dari Tolour dan 15 dari Kaweng. Selanjutnya ikan dibawah ke Laboraturium Bioekologi Air Tawar  FPIK untuk pengambilan data. Sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 35 individu yang terdiri atas jenis kelamin jantan 16 individu dan betina 19 individu. Ukuran panjang ikan jantan berkisar antara 25,8-43,2 cm, dan ikan betina berkisar antara 22,0-39,6 cm.  Ukuran berat ikan jantan berkisar antara 157-755 g dan ikan betina beratnya berkisar antara 38-422g. Hubungan panjang berat ikan gabus dalam penelitian ini adalah W= 0,0017L3,4517 untuk gabungan jantan betina, W = 0,0116L2,9161 untuk jenis kelamin jantan  dan W = 0,0009L3,6426 untuk jenis kelamin betina.  Pola pertumbuhan untuk gabungan jantan dan betina adalah isometric (b=3,457).  Pola pertumbuhan ikan gabus adalah pola pertumbuhan isometrik (b=2,9161)   untuk jantan dan allometrik positif (b=3,6426) untuk jenis kelamin betina. Faktor kondisi relative (Kn) seluruh individu adalah 1,06  ± 0,44. Faktor Kondisi  jantan adalah 1,01 ± 0,13. The Research was conducted on one sampling point with one 100 meters long line transect which was is laid perpendicular to the outer direction of the mangrove.  To collect gastropod samples, three quadrates with a size of 10x10meters with a distance between the quadrate 5 meters were made. In the quadrate, 15 subquadrates sized 1x1meters were also made. Based on the results, there were 6 species of gastropods and two distribution patterns of i.e., Cluster the species of the Littoraria scabra, Angustassiminea castanea, Terebralia sulcate. The uniform distribution pattern is Ischinocerithium rostratum, Caliostoma jujubinum, and Nerita senegalensis. There are ten mangrove species found and  the most common species is Soneratia alba with a total of 27 individuals.Keywords: Gastropods, forest, Mangrove, Tongkeina village ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Jenis-jenis gastropoda serta persebaran pada hutan mangrove di Kelurahan Tongkeina dan untuk mengetahui Jenis-jenis mangrove di Kelurahan Tongkeina. Penelitian hanya di lakukan satu titik pengambilan sampel dimana dibuat 1 line transek dengan Panjang 100meter yang di tarik tegak lurus dari arah terluar mangrove kemudian dibuat 3 kuadrat dengan ukuran 10x10meter dengan jarak antara kuadrat 5 meter, dan di dalam kuadrat dibuat 15 subkuadrat berukuran 1x1 meter. Berdasarkan penelitian hasil ditemukan ada 6 spesies gastopoda dan dua pola persebaran Gastropoda yaitu mengelompok dan seragam, spesies mengelompok yaitu Littoraria scabra, Angustassiminea castanea, Terebralia sulcate. Pola persebaran seragam yaitu Ischinocerithium rostratum, Caliostoma jujubinum, Nerita senegalensis.
