The research used Monofactor Completely Randomized Design with 3 replications. The treatment that substitution of inorganic fertilizer with organic herbal fertilizer were 100%+0% (T0); 80%+20% (T1); 60%+40% (T2); (T3) 40%+60% (T3);20%+80% (T4); 0%+100% (T5). Parameters observed were plant height, number of leaves, number of flowers, number of fruit and weight of fresh fruit. Data were analysis of variabel (F Test) and further test with Tukey Multiple Range Test (BNT). The results showed that the substitution of fertilizer on treatment T3 (40% of inorganic fertilizers + 60% organic herbal fertilizer) can give number of leaves, number of flowers, number of fruit and weight of fresh fruit higher than compared with the other treatment. However, no significant effect on plant height. Penelitian menggunakan percobaan Monofaktor Rancangan Acak Lengkap dengan 3 ulangan. Perlakuan yang diberikanadalah substitusi pupuk anorganik dengan pupuk herbal organik yaitu 100%+0% (T0); 80%+20% (T1); 60%+40% (T2); (T3) 40%+60% (T3);20%+80% (T4); 0%+100% (T5). Parameter yang diamati yaitu tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, jumlah bunga, jumlah buah dan berat buah segar. Data diolah dengan analisis ragam (Uji F) dan uji lanjut denganBeda Nyata Terkecil (BNT).Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa substitusi pupuk pada perlakuan T3(40% pupuk anorganik + 60% pupuk herbal organik) dapat menghasilkan jumlah daun, jumlah bunga, jumlah buah dan berat segar buah tomat lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan perlakuan lainnya. Namun tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman. This research was done by using serie experiment by Randomized Block Design with 3 bloks. Treatment of varieties with 3 series groups on each shade treatment. The shade treatment consisted of four shaded treatment levels (N0), 50% Shade (N1), 60% Shade (N2), and 70% Shade (N3). every shade was tested 2 varieties of lettuce Romain Romain green varieties (V1) and Romain lettuce varieties Tiberius (V2). Parameters observed for plant height, number of leaves, leaf area, fresh weight of plant, and dry weight of plant. The results showed that shade levels increased plant height in 50% and 60% shade, but decreased leaf number, leaf area, wet weight, and dry weight as shade level increased. Tiberius varieties produce higher plant height, leaf number, and wet weight significantly higher than Green Romain varieties. Keywords :Lettuce, shades, varieties, hydroponic ABSTRAK Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengkaji pertumbuhan dan produksi dua varietas selada pada berbagai tingkat naungan dengan metode hidroponik. Penelitian ini dilakukan percobaan seri dengan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan 3 kelompok. Perlakuan varietas dengan 3 kelompok seri pada setiap perlakuan naungan. Perlakuan naungan terdiri dari empat taraf perlakuan yaitu tanpa naungan (N0), Naungan 50% (N1), Naungan 60% (N2), dan Naungan 70% (N3). Pada setiap naungan dicobakan 2 varietas selada yaitu selada Romain varietas Green Romain (V1) dan selada Romain varietas Tiberius (V2). Parameter yang diamati tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, luas daun, berat segar tanaman, dan berat kering tanaman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat naungan menaikkan tinggi tanaman pada naungan 50% dan 60%, tetapi menurunkan jumlah daun, luas daun, berat basah, dan berat kering seiring dengan meningkatnya tingkat naungan. Varietas Tiberius menghasilkan tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, dan berat basah lebih tinggi secara signifikan dibandingkan varietas Green Romain. This research was conducted at Operational Greenhouse, Balai Benih Pertanian Kota Semarang Gunung Pati, Semarang. The research was conducted by 3x3 factorial experiments with 3 replications. The first factor was 6, 12, 18 days of incubation period and the second factor was 120, 240, 360 ml/plant dosage of LOF. The observed parameters were fruit N uptake, plant height, fruit diameter and fruit fresh weight. Results of study showed that both treatments had no significant effect on fruit diameter and fruit fresh weight caused by lack of P in LOF so that the overall fruit production was not optimum. Interaction between both treatments showed significant effect on fruit N uptake when on short incubation period, the dosage used was higher and vice versa. Six days of incubation with 240 ml/plant dosage gave the highest efficiency on improving fruit N uptake. Incubation period has no significant effect but the dosage of 360 ml/plant significantly gave optimum effect on plant height in comparison with dosage of 120 and 240 ml/plant. This research can be concluded that LOF with 6 days of incubation with dosage used between 240-360 ml/plant was efficient to improve growth of cherry tomato plant and addition of fertilizer was needed to improve production of cherry tomato. The aim of this research was to study the effect of temperature treatment, storage container and their interaction on seed quality and seedling growth of chilli. The study was conducted in Jetis Village and Laboratory of Plant Physiology and Breeding, Faculty of Animal and Agricultural Sciences, Diponegoro University from January to June 2017. The study was conducted using nesting experiments on the basis of Completely Randomized Design (RAL). The first factor was Storage Temperature (R1 = Room Temperature 24-29 oC, R2 = Refrigerator Temperature 5oC) and second factor was storage container nested at storage temperature that was (P1 = Alumunium foil, P2 = Paper and P3 = Plastic). Each treatment had 5 replications and each replication consisted of 100 seeds, so there were 30 experimental units. The data were analyzed by using analysis of variance (ANOVA) and continued with test of HSD (Honesty Significant Difference) 5% significance level. The results showed that the storage temperature (5oC) temperature increased the temperature and the seed vigor index was larger than the room temperature (28oC), the aluminum foil packaging produced the maximum growth potential and germination rate was higher than the plastic and paper packaging but there was no different growth rate and index vigor. Low storage space temperatures (5oC) can not maintain maximum seed quality where the 4 parameters were still below the standard quality of the seed. Seeds stored in low temperature (5oC) rooms producedfresh weight and dry weight of seedlings larger than high temperature (28oC), but the number of leaves, seed height and hypothetical vigor index were not significantly different. The aluminum foil packaging producedfresh weight and dry weight of seeds higher than plastic and paper packaging. However, the number of leaves, the height of seed and the hypothetical vigor index were notsignificantly different. The research was assigned in basic design of completely randomized 4x2 factorial with three replications. The first factor was doses of leaf K (0, 50, 100, 150 kg N / ha). The second factor was pruning P (unpruned and pruned), each treatment was repeated three times. The parameters measured were stem diameter, number of leaves, number of fruits per plant, number of fruit per plot, and fruit weight per plot,. The data were analyzed statistically by of variance followed by Duncan's Multiple Range Test (DMRT). The results showed that there was no interaction effect at treatment doses of compost litter and pruning. Dosage of compost litter of 50 kg N / ha can increase the growth of girth, number of leaves, and the number of fruit per plot. Litter compost fertilizer dose of 100 kg N / ha can promote the growth and production of red okra. Pruning treatment can increase the production of red okra. This irradiation factor in chrysanthemum plants can affect vegetative growth. The light came from TL lamps with 23 watt of power. The experimental design used was the split block design with the main plot was long irradiation in hours: 1 hour (P1); 2 hours (P2); 3 hours (P3) and 4 hours (P4). While the sub plot was an extension of light in the case of 21 days (H1); 28 days (H2); 35 days (H3) and 42 days (H4). Replication was done 3 times. The results showed the use of irradiation applications above 3 hours and 42 days increased plant height, leaf number, fresh and dry weight of plant. Variants ofM. anisopliae to be used were Karimun Jawa, Semarang and Magelang (host O. rhinoceros), and UGM (host L. stigma). The research was arranged in factorial experiment withcompletely randomized design, two factors and three replications.The first factor was type variant of M. anisopliae (V0= control, V1= variant UGM, V2= variant Karimun Jawa , V3= variant Semarang , V4 = variant Magelang), the second factor was type of pest (H1 = larva O. rhinoceros, H2 = larva L. stigma). The results showed that each variant of M. anisopliae had the same ability to control O. rhinoceros and L. stigma in both mortality, spore density, and LT50. O. rhinoceros has higher mortality and spore density than L. stigma, but LT50 both pests were the same. The interaction between O. rhinoceros and M. anisopliae gave the highest mortality, spore density, but the same LT50. This research was conducted in Greenhouse and Laboratory of and Plant Physiology and Breeding of at Faculty of Animal and Agricultural Sciences, Diponegoro University, Semarang from April to July 2017. The research was arranged using completely randomized factorial design. The first factor was drought stress (control, drought 20-35 DAP (Days After Planting), 40-55 DAP and 55-70 DAP). The second factor was the use of nanosilika fertilizers (without nanosilika, with nanosilica). The data were analyzed by anova and followed by Duncan’s Multiple Range Test (DMRT). The results showed that the drought stress during tiller production stage decreased the total number of tillers, productive tillers and grain weight per clump, but not in weight of one thousand seeds. Drought stress during flowering stage and seed filling only decreases the weight of one thousand seeds. Application of nanosilica increases the number of productive tillers and the weight of grain per hill. There was no interaction between drought stress treatment and nanosilika fertilization. The purpose of this research was to analyze the role of farmer groups as learning class, cooperation vehicle, and production unit in influencing farmer behavior, access of production facilities, application of Integrated Crop Management (ICM) and farming profit. The research population was members of farmer groups in Kecamatan Sale Kabupaten Rembang who have irrigated land with an area of 0.2-0.5 Ha. Determination of sampling was done by using purposive random sampling method with total sample of 276 farmers. Interviews with questionnaires were used as data collection methods. Data were analyzed using path analysis to know the relationships between variables. Results of research indicated that role of farmer group as study class, cooperation vehicle, and production unit had an effect to farmer behavior. The role of farmer groups as a vehicle for cooperation, production unit and farmer behavior had an effect on access production facilities. Behavior of farmers and access to production facilities affected the application of ICM. The application of ICM had an effect on the profit of farming. R/C Ratio of paddy farming in Sale District, Rembang Regency was equal to 1,23. The research used Completely Randomized Design with six crossing combination : Dering x Grobogan, Grobogan x Dering, Dering x Detam, Detam x Dering, Dering x Devon, and Devon x Dering. Each combination was repeated five times. Parameters observed were percentage of fertilization, number of seeds in pods, long of pods, weight of 10 seeds. Parameters were analyzed descriptively and heterosis was calculated. The research results showed that crossing between dering and devon had the highest percentage of fertilization. Crossing between dering and grobogan improved number of seed in pod, long of pods and weight of 10 seeds. The highest heterosis of seed number in pod, long of pods and weight of 10 seeds were resulted from crossing dering x devon, Dering x Grobogan, Grobogan x Dering, respectively.
