A cyclic process driven by predefined objectives achieved the most desirable parameters through adjustments in winding angles and tube ply thicknesses. A geometry resembling a crane structure underwent initial analyses, allowing for the determination of appropriate settings for the surrogate model’s training phase, considering accuracy and computational time. Its final design was influenced by prevalent bending and tension loads, resulting in near-zero winding angles and a range of thicknesses that met displacement, strength, and weight requirements. A second geometry with further restrictions was also considered. Finally, for a third geometry, winding angles were tailored to accommodate torsion forces. The presented optimisation process resulted in volume reduction while maintaining displacement and strength parameters. These findings highlight the effectiveness and transferability of the optimisation approach across different geometries.","PeriodicalId":19860,"journal":{"name":"Philosophical Magazine Letters","volume":"91 3","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-10-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"136158397","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":4,"RegionCategory":"材料科学","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

After homogenised hydrogen concentration by aging, the interactions change the hydrogen thermal desorption behaviour. Hydrogen in a solid solution probably changes to hydrogen trapped in damage regions induced by the interactions, as reported previously. With time after the interactions, the amount of hydrogen desorbed at low temperatures (200–400°C) markedly increases, clearly indicating that hydrogen states further change from the states immediately after the interactions. In cyclic tensile deformation in the stress plateau region caused by stress-induced martensite and reverse transformations, the number of cycles to fracture substantially increases with time after the interactions. The present results indicate that hydrogen states further change to a nominally interacting state after the interactions despite the absence of dynamic structural changes and a hydrogen concentration gradient, thereby suppressing hydrogen embrittlement related to the martensite transformation of the alloy.","PeriodicalId":19860,"journal":{"name":"Philosophical Magazine Letters","volume":"7 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-10-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"136158507","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":4,"RegionCategory":"材料科学","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The aim of this systematic review was to evaluate the effect of modern devices for ARSE. This review has been registered at PROSPERO under the number CRD42020213264. A systematic search was conducted by two reviewers independently in databases PubMed, MEDLINE, Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials, Grey Open, Hand search of reference lists of relevant studies, and previously published systematic reviews. The article published until September 2020 were searched for this review. The searches identified 24 eligible studies, twenty-two cohort and two randomized control trial studies. A total of 1287 dental implants were installed in 634 patients with the age range of 17-70 years and a minimum of 3 months of follow-up. Ten articles of USG device and seven of MRE device were finally evaluated for metanalysis. The mean ridge width gain was 3.40 mm (USG device) and 2.83 mm (MRE device). The overall implant survival rate was 98.07%. Mean width gain between USG and MRE devices was significantly different (<i>P</i> < 0.0001, HS). Test of heterogeneity was significant (<i>Q</i> = 88.3877, <i>P</i> < 0.0001, HS) and there was no publication bias (Intercept = 6.6634, <i>P</i> = 0.6142, NS) by Egger's test. The most commonly used devices were USG and MRE. USG is more effective for osteo-mobilization type and MRE device for minimally invasive osteo-condensation.</p>","PeriodicalId":19860,"journal":{"name":"Philosophical Magazine Letters","volume":"83 1","pages":"369-382"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC10806315/pdf/","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"81591979","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":4,"RegionCategory":"材料科学","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"OA","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
