Data were obtained from 164 tourists through social media applications. The survey outcomes were encouraging, which showed a positive and significant influence between food consumption values and domestic tourists' behavioral intentions to consume heritage foods. These findings will help Pahang's destination managers better understand how the promotion of heritage foods can be utilized to attract future domestic tourism. Marketers should increase familiarity with heritage foods, particularly among potential domestic tourists, as familiarity may increase emotional values.","PeriodicalId":196464,"journal":{"name":"Journal of ASIAN Behavioural Studies","volume":"62 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126314713","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Our cross-sectional study aimed to assess the foot care behaviour among patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. More than half of the participants (56.2%) reported a low level of foot care behaviour. Gender and educational level were significantly associated with foot care behaviour (p < 0.05). This study provides an overview of the current foot care behaviour in a multi-ethnic population in Southeast Asia. Future studies with rigorous methods are needed to examine the factors associated with the foot care behaviour among patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus.","PeriodicalId":196464,"journal":{"name":"Journal of ASIAN Behavioural Studies","volume":"30 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126085041","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This paper discusses the different types of ‘influencers’ and examines influencer marketing practices in Malaysia based on selected post content on Instagram, and explored Malaysia’s need to review its regulation, especially when it comes to disclosure. The study’s findings give an overview of the marketing practices undertaken by these influencers and the lack of disclosure of ‘material connection’ between the business or brand and the influencers. Finally, it is acknowledged that Malaysia needs to welcome changes in the laws dealing with influencer marketing.","PeriodicalId":196464,"journal":{"name":"Journal of ASIAN Behavioural Studies","volume":"4 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133140519","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
