Based on the information entropy and wavelet transform theory, wavelet energy entropy (WEE) and wavelet time entropy (WTE) are extracted to be the input of RBFNN. Besides, CGA is used to optimize the parameters of RBFNN. The simulation results show that this new method can reach an efficient search for global convergence, and prevent it from similar problem of partial efficiency in traditional genetic algorithm (TGA). After trained, the RBFNN can accomplish the online fault diagnosis of gyroscope accurately and quickly.","PeriodicalId":196304,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings 2013 International Conference on Mechatronic Sciences, Electric Engineering and Computer (MEC)","volume":"35 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130940645","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this paper, we propose a fast stitching algorithm. First, we build Gaussian pyramid and select the key pyramid image by image characteristic. Then, we extract feature points and use region removal algorithm to get the key feature matches of an image. Region removal algorithm selects key feature match in a circle region and removes the redundant quantity. It improves the efficiency of image stitching. Finally, we analyze the relationship between the total errors with iteration times of bundle adjustment, which shows that the errors decrease fast at the first 50 iterations. Experiments on two datasets show that, our algorithm improves both the speed and precision.","PeriodicalId":196304,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings 2013 International Conference on Mechatronic Sciences, Electric Engineering and Computer (MEC)","volume":"41 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130459992","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The descriptors which contained both global and local information usually can be competent for classifying actions. A novel descriptor based on Gist descriptor and word phrase is proposed. Gist descriptor captures the structure information of action and its vectors imply the location relationship of local grids. According to the location which the Gist vectors attribute to, the features are divided into four segments, and word phrases are respectively constructed using bag of words method. By accumulating all the phrases, the final action descriptor is produced. Through SVM classifier our method obtains impressive results on KTH dataset.","PeriodicalId":196304,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings 2013 International Conference on Mechatronic Sciences, Electric Engineering and Computer (MEC)","volume":"91 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128846269","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Compared with conventional airplane layout, the support interference effects and the local shape distortions are more obvious. Though the support effect is now accounted for in most wind tunnel procedures thanks to various correction methods, they call upon dedicated experiments which are expensive, complex and require the introduction of another support. Solving the steady Reynolds-Averaged Navier-Stokes equations for complex configuration has become routine task in research and it has occasionally been used to investigate model support effects. In this paper, the flow field and force disturbance caused by the support was calculated by comparing simulations with and without support for several angles of attack at Mach number equals 0.9. Meanwhile, and amounts and regulations of support interference effects on forces and moments for this flying-wing model were obtained.","PeriodicalId":196304,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings 2013 International Conference on Mechatronic Sciences, Electric Engineering and Computer (MEC)","volume":"431 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123144987","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The transmitter aims to convey a confidential message to the receiver and protect it from the wiretapper as possible as he can. Actions are taken by the transmitter to influence the channel state information. For such a channel, Dai et al. first got an outer bound on the capacity-equivocation region which contains all the achievable transmission rates. We find a new outer bound and prove it is better than Dai's in terms of approximating the maximum rate at which the confidential message can be transmitted in perfect secrecy. Furthermore, the new outer bound provides the engineer with a more precise target to achieve higher transmission rates in the capacity-equivocation region.","PeriodicalId":196304,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings 2013 International Conference on Mechatronic Sciences, Electric Engineering and Computer (MEC)","volume":"27 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126685348","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Many researchers ignored these imbalance problems, so their learning models usually led to a bias in the majority normal class. To deal with this problem, a new over-sampling technique was proposed to over-sample the minority class to balance the data samples and improve Support Vector Machine(SVM) in imbalanced diseases data sets. For the minority class, a K-Nearest Neighbor(KNN) graph is built. Second, the proposed technique gets a Minimum Spanning Tree(MST) based on the graph. Third, the proposed technique generates synthetic samples by using SMOTE along the direct path in the tree. The performance of the proposed technique based on SVM is evaluated with several diseases data sets taken from the UCI machine learning repository, and the experiments show that the proposed technique based on SVM can improve the Sensitivity value and G-Mean value.","PeriodicalId":196304,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings 2013 International Conference on Mechatronic Sciences, Electric Engineering and Computer (MEC)","volume":"2007 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114203750","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The technique has two operational modes: local and global modes which are used for dealing with single or multiple icons. We focus on addressing three fundamental operations: selection, zooming and rotation. Stripe Action can set up links among icons and endow the same attribute to each icon in the same group. We also design the Strip Menu that is employed to select operational manners. A user study is designed and conducted. The experimental results show that our proposed technique is efficient and provides easy and intuitive operational manners for users to perform icons.","PeriodicalId":196304,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings 2013 International Conference on Mechatronic Sciences, Electric Engineering and Computer (MEC)","volume":"23 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116629780","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
