The main disadvantages of the production of ready-made mixtures of heat-resistant concrete directly on the construction site are highlighted. The expediency of using dry mixtures of heat-resistant concrete to ensure the proper quality of products and structures is argued. The technological aspects of manufacturing ready-to-use mixtures based on semi-finished products in the conditions of a construction site are described. Melting of Bazhenov gabbro-diabase makes it possible for the industry to obtain a new product ― basalt (stone) wool. It is a good heat- and sound-proof, fireproof material for the construction industry, on its basis a unique hydroponic substrate is produced with its wide application in agriculture.. In the mode of operation of a cupola with an open grate, its thermal mode is characterized mainly by the peripheral movement of gases with a significant difference in the ratio of heat capacities of gas flows and materials. The use of forced removal of exhaust gases from the shaft furnace contributes to an earlier transition from a peripheral to a predominantly central movement mechanism. By increasing the degree of rarefaction on the grate to 0,71‒0,73 bar, it is possible to increase the level of melt temperature, temperature pressure and air blast flow, exhaust gas temperature while improving the conditions of heat exchange between gases and heated materials. This process will be accompanied by a continuous decrease in the productivity of the unit with an improvement in the stability of the melting process. It is shown that a uniform distribution of lamellar crystals of strontium hexaaluminate over the volume of the structure and a 30 % increase in strength is achieved during its synthesis during the firing of ceramics with the introduction of pre-synthesized strontium zirconate (precursor) into the charge.
