We briefly introduce the ICF and the ICD classification scheme from the WHO as a foundation for our mobile application. A two-staged usability evaluation in a very early stage of development allows us to integrate user-centred design in the mobile application development process. Our procedure comprises interviews and usability tests with a limited number of users and thus can even be performed within a resource-constrained setting as it is typically found in smaller software development teams. We discuss the consolidated results of the usability tests quantitatively and qualitatively. From these results we deduce recommendations (and open issues) concerning the user interface design of the mobile application.","PeriodicalId":194465,"journal":{"name":"DCNET/ICE-B/OPTICS","volume":"3 2","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-07-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"113968984","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this paper, we analyze characteristics and problems of the data access in the service platform for smart public infrastructure and clarify requirements for data access control. Next, we propose a data model and a data access control method that satisfy those requirements. The data model includes access authorization that expresses the contracts between consumer and service provider. In the data access control method, data corresponding to the access authorization is filtered in RDBMS for the performance. Finally, we evaluate the proposed method by implementing a prototype and confirm that the requirements are satisfied.","PeriodicalId":194465,"journal":{"name":"DCNET/ICE-B/OPTICS","volume":"98 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-07-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131606272","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

For the evaluation of the decentralized procurement plan, we have formulated the decentralized procurement planning problem as 3-objective optimization problem. However, multiple-objective genetic algorithms (MOGA) to solve the problem take several minutes and display many Pareto solutions. We propose the interactive evaluation method of the decentralized procurement plan that is an expanded interactive MOGA (iMOGA) with loss evaluation simulator and solution selection by characteristics of the decentralized procurement plan. Experimental results show that the proposed method can allow the decision-makers to find their preference solutions with 38% fewer interactions than the basic iMOGA can.","PeriodicalId":194465,"journal":{"name":"DCNET/ICE-B/OPTICS","volume":"177 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-07-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133712843","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

These systems provide users with freedom of navigation that allows them to develop learning pathways. Empirical evidence indicates that not all learners can benefit from hypermedia learning systems. In order to develop a learning environment, individual differences need to be taken into account to ensure they impact on students' achievements. In this paper, we describe and propose a web based instruction (WBI) program which accommodates preferences of individual differences; learner's prior knowledge and cognitive styles using the three key design elements of navigation tools, display options and content scope are explored. We also add learner's gender behaviour as a third dimension of individual differences.","PeriodicalId":194465,"journal":{"name":"DCNET/ICE-B/OPTICS","volume":"4 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-07-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121915738","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

One of the standards used for RFID is Electronic Product Code Information Services (EPCIS). However, it is nontrivial to get effective knowledge from massive data to improve the existed production or logistic system comparing with convenient data collection. In this paper, we develop an intelligent platform which combines RFID for data acquisition, Data Mining for knowledge discovery and enterprise applications in the field of E-logistics. Especially association rule is applied to mine the associations between the distribution nodes and product quality within a product distribution logistic network on the basis of RFID datasets. The analysis result is the same as in the problem hypothesis, which concludes that it will be applicable for such kind of product distribution network analysis.","PeriodicalId":194465,"journal":{"name":"DCNET/ICE-B/OPTICS","volume":"53 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-07-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125496401","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

But it is just recently that technological innovation has enabled the transfer of these schemes into the online environment, and, more concretely, to the increasing number of online platforms. Operating on two-sided markets, platforms started to deploy loyalty programs to address customers and Third parties such as retailers or merchants alike. Additionally they profit from the embedding in the digital environment, which enables the expansion of loyalty points to become a Virtual Currency with the power to affect platforms' business strategies. Based on the analysis of four case studies, this paper focuses on the effect of the implementation of a Virtual Currency scheme on the platforms' organizational, financial and service business model parameters. It shows how Virtual Currency schemes enable platforms to encourage loyalty of not only their customers but also in some configurations of third parties, sometimes to the extent that one or both sides of the market are locked-in. Second, Virtual Currency can be deployed as a source of revenue and thus play a role in the platform's financial design.","PeriodicalId":194465,"journal":{"name":"DCNET/ICE-B/OPTICS","volume":"913 ","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-07-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114049552","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Web search data contains a huge search concerns and needs, which provides the necessary database for the study of social and economic behaviour. This paper applies web search data to the construction of inflation index. To begin with, the selection of key words; then, an empirical analysis based on the use of the Baidu index of access to the key words search data. Empirical analysis is divided into three parts:(1) key words classification;(2) construct the leading inflation index;(3) establish inflation forecasting model. The results show that the web search data exist co-integration with CPI; second, the leading inflation index constructed using principal component analysis with strong timeliness, about 4–8 months earlier than the data released by the National Bureau of Statistics; furthermore, the forecast model passes the equation of goodness-of-fit test, the test of significance and heteroscedasticity test, with a certain degree of scientific and effective.","PeriodicalId":194465,"journal":{"name":"DCNET/ICE-B/OPTICS","volume":"227 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-07-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122428461","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The related technology enables cooperations to streamline, automate and control their business processes. Even when the technology has considerably evolved and the implementation methodologies have improved over time, there is still a high rate of failed projects. These projects mainly fail because the correlated organizational and human factors are not considered in sufficient detail and appropriate thoughtfulness. The objectives of the research of this paper are to review the organizational and the human factors which are of relevance in BPM projects. The research is based on a literature review. The result of the paper is a research proposal for further research. Based on the results of this further research recommendations for project managers and consultants towards a successful BPM implementation can be formulated.","PeriodicalId":194465,"journal":{"name":"DCNET/ICE-B/OPTICS","volume":"10 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-07-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125281427","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Process optimization starts with a process model to analyse the planning aspects, the information flow, the coordination efficiency, and finally the efficiency of the knowledge transfer. Considering the information flow and the coordination efficiency as prerequisite for the knowledge transfer efficiency analysis we state that a mobile interface to the conference management information system would improve the coordination process during the conference and fosters the emergence of communities of interest. This paper presents an approach for a mobile conference planner application, integrated into a conference management system. The proposed functionality focuses on the improvement concerning orientation during a conference, material access, and managing social contacts working conference comprehensively.
