The experience took place in 2021, in southern Romania, on a psamosoil type soil, 43°48′04″N 24°05′31″E. The biological material was represented by the hybrids Sweet Thing F1 and Dessert R78 F1 grown in open field and in solar greenhouse. The specifics of the variants were as follows: V1- Sweet Thing F1- culture in solar greenhouse; V2- Sweet Thing F1 - field culture; V3- Dessert R78 F1- culture in solar greenhouse; V4- Dessert R78F1 – field culture. The control of the experience was the average of the variants. In order to assess the behavior of the hybrids, determinations were made regarding morphological characters, production capacity and economic efficiency for both culture systems. The results regarding the influence of the culture system on the morphological and production characters indicate for both hybrids higher values in solar greenhouse system, compared to the results recorded in field culture. In the field, production was lower, being affected by the increase in temperatures during the pollination period, over 300C. Regarding the influence of the hybrid on sweet corn production, Sweet Thing F1 performed best both in the field and in solar greenhouse - 11.2 t/ha. Concerning the crop of sweet corn in a solar greenhouse, the profit rate was three times higherthan the crop in the field due to the earliness of the crop and the higher selling price.","PeriodicalId":192852,"journal":{"name":"\"Annals of the University of Craiova - Agriculture Montanology Cadastre Series \"","volume":"78 9","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139156823","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The work in agriculture has the distinctive characteristic of being dependent of minor and major disturbances in climate, economic, social and technological factors of the working environment, thus a manager of an agriculture holding is obliged to keep being informed on all these changes in this environment in order to perform on the agricultural activity. In this matter, the degree of theoretical and practical knowledge of a farm manager is a good precursor of the performance of the farm owned by the manager. In this paper, we will present the results of a statistical research whose purpose consists in the determination of the degree of correlation between the professional training background of the farmers and the performance of the agricultural holding managed by them. The research consisted in the analysis of a number of responses to a survey that was applied on the farmers in the geographical region of Olt County in southern Romania, with a main focus point on the basic professional training, only practical professional training and full agricultural vocational training. The analysis was performed using the Chi square test and statistical testing of the deviations between the mentioned types of training.","PeriodicalId":192852,"journal":{"name":"\"Annals of the University of Craiova - Agriculture Montanology Cadastre Series \"","volume":"35 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127681278","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Equipment for destroying plant residues such as cutters, platforms with rotors, shredders, etc. is known. which works in aggregate with the tractor. The disadvantages of these equipments consist in the fact that they work independently and only carry out the operation of destroying plant remains and leaving them on the ground, in the technology being the additional passage on the same land for incorporation, which involves fuel consumption, pollution. ground subsidence etc. The combined equipment for shredding and incorporating plant residues eliminates these disadvantages, mainly because the operations are performed in a single pass. The advantage of using this mechanism consists in facilitating operations and increasing productivity with reduced time and fuel costs, at the same time meeting environmental protection requirements by reducing land subsidence and noxes produced by double tillage. Another advantage consists in avoiding the accumulation of plant debris in front of the active organs of the plow and removing it from the furrow, in case the unshredded material would remain on the ground.","PeriodicalId":192852,"journal":{"name":"\"Annals of the University of Craiova - Agriculture Montanology Cadastre Series \"","volume":"70 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126333832","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This analysis showed that Romanian farmers became increasingly interested in crop insurance premiums from the National Rural Development Program (PNDR) 2014-2020, amid the drought. According to market data, approximately 15% of agricultural crops are insured in Romania, given that insurance companies are generally limited to problem areas. For this period, a total of 16,536 funding applications were submitted, of which 14,379 applications were eligible for funding, 1,536 funding applications were ineligible for funding, and 441 funding applications were withdrawn. As can be seen, one of the basic activities carried out during the production process of various types of compound feed is the grinding of cereal grains, which involves the release of small dust particles into the atmosphere. Therefore, it is aimed to use high-performance work installations in compound feed factories, with a high degree of mechanization, automation and computerization, with high productivity and low specific consumption, to ensure a rigorous monitoring of dust and other noxes according to accepted European norms. This article analyses the technical working parameters in the cereals grinding area and presents the results of the experimental measurements carried out in the dust discharge areas, which prove the advantage of using automated and computerized work installations, equipped with special filters which respect the optimal projected parameters and which ensure the rules imposed by the European Union for the protection of the environment. \u0000 ","PeriodicalId":192852,"journal":{"name":"\"Annals of the University of Craiova - Agriculture Montanology Cadastre Series \"","volume":"191 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123003137","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
