Digital images are used for professional and personal use ranging from official documents to social media. Thus, any Organization or individual needs to store and share a large number of images. One of the most common issues associated with using images is the potentially large file-size of the image. Advancements in image acquisition technology and an increase in the popularity of digital content means that images now have very high resolutions and high quality, inevitably leading to an increase in size. Image compression has become one of the most important parts of image processing these days due to this. The goal is to achieve the least size possible for an image while not compromising on the quality of the image, that gives us the perfect balance. Therefore, to achieve this perfect balance many compression techniques have been devised and it is not possible to pinpoint the best one because it is really dependent on the type of image to be compressed. So here we are going to elaborate on converting images into binary images and the Run length Encoding (RLE) algorithm used for compressing binary images. Now, RLE is itself a very effective and simple approach for compression of images but, sometimes, the size of an image actually increases after RLE algorithm is applied to the image and this is one of the major drawbacks of RLE. In this research paper we are going to propose an extension or maybe an upgradation to RLE method which will ensure that the size of an image never exceeds beyond its original size, even in the worst possible scenario","PeriodicalId":192369,"journal":{"name":"2019 Global Conference for Advancement in Technology (GCAT)","volume":"147 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127513618","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This technology can be established in any road such as highway or inter-city urban roads; it is basically a set of mobile vehicles connected with static base station. VANET is adopted ad hoc nature where dynamic vehicles are capable to communicate with each other due to less infrastructure network strategy as no clear administration tasks are functional. However, VANET is reported efficient in low and medium speeds i.e. 10 through 40 km/h. This paper aims to enhance network reachability in random traffic conditions. This paper is aimed to design, analysis, MATLAB simulation and development of compact 48-V DC, 2KW power supply unit (PSU) used in communication switches. This module incorporate boost power factor corrector to improve power factor followed by robust LLC resonant converter to increase efficiency and to achieve ZVS. As a result, the integration of number of processing elements is increasing on the System on Chip (SoC). As the device size is reduced the gate delay will also get reduced, this intern increases the frequency of operation of the devices. Conventional on-chip router architectures used bus based infrastructure, which was point to point communication were not able to communicate suitably due to the increase in the frequency of operation in SoCs. These communication systems used for on-chip communication are not scalable and does not support design reuse.So, the NoC was introduced to provide scalability and flexibility for on-chip communication for the Multicore processors. This research paper has an objective of development of next generation multi-functional Network on Chip router architecture. This paper also covers the system design & simulation of multi-functional router under various data delivery modes, with an intension to implement all of them on FPGA. In all the cases PID/PI-PD controller is used and the parameters of controller, RFB and UPFC are tuned using Differential Evolution (DE) algorithm. Dual active bridge converter consists of couple of full bridge converters linked through a transformer. Two way power flow capacity, high power density, high proficiency, soft switching, less number of passive elements and galvanic separation are the important characteristics of DAB pulling in industry. The push-pull converter is utilized as DC-DC converters are reasonable for low and medium power application. High efficiency, low switching loss and high power density are the important characteristics of this converter. By increasing the switching frequency, it results in the reduction of complexity of the circuit. However the switching loss increases as the switching frequency is increased. But, in modern deregulated system with renewable energy sources (RES) that is the distribution generators (DG) make these power flow as bidirectional. So the most important requirement for the DGs is to detect island conditions. In distribution system when some parts get isolated from the remaining system, but remains energized through the DGs, it is called islanding. This paper represents a technique for anti-islanding protection based on innovative power line signaling. In this technique, substation sends a signal to the DG sites through feeder lines of the distribution system. If the signal is not detected by the DG site then it can be inferred that DG is islanded from the system. In this paper a remote islanding detection method that is power line signaling and an active islanding detection method i.e. waveform distortion technique is combined for the anti-islanding protection.","PeriodicalId":192369,"journal":{"name":"2019 Global Conference for Advancement in Technology (GCAT)","volume":"22 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116349398","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
