A 1.8 MW wind turbine exposed to wind speed in San Angelo, USA is used for illustration. The model fits the data. As such, features of the model are used in providing indices for rating the performance of the turbine in this location. Probability distribution of the wind speed in this location is introduced into each of the traditional methods of computing average power output from the turbine power curve and expected extract-able power. The estimates obtained are 937 kW and 826 kW, respectively.","PeriodicalId":191618,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Computational and Applied Mathematics & Computer Science","volume":"136 23","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-05-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140976891","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The performance of a controller or the augmented system as a whole depends on the real measured data, so noise on data readings can be fatal. To effectively and adaptively control lower and higher frequency noise, the Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) was developed. Designing a system and the parameter of modified FxLMS for reducing noise, and disturbance of sensor data is the primary focus of this paper. The required equation will be analyzed and discussed briefly. Moreover, the system will be simulated in MATLAB and then the filtered result will be analyzed. Based on the simulation results, the proposed model can filter out signals with noise, particularly when there is a significant variation in the data and no knowledge of the noise frequency that might affect sensor readings.","PeriodicalId":191618,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Computational and Applied Mathematics & Computer Science","volume":"132 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-07-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133151414","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is well known that most systems can be affected by input uncertainties such as saturation. This undesirable input has the potential to destabilize the system. Thus, it is important to mitigate the effect of saturation. In this paper, we take this problem into account. In addition, the controller scheme is very simple, in which the control input in each trial is adjusted by using the tracking error signals obtained from previous and current trials. As the iterations continue, the control system eventually learns the task and follows the desired trajectory with little or no errors. The asymptotic stability of the closed loop system under unknown input saturation is guaranteed over the whole finite time by using the λ-norm method. Finally, to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method, simulation results are presented.","PeriodicalId":191618,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Computational and Applied Mathematics & Computer Science","volume":"12 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-07-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127558211","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Deep learning-based vehicle-type categorization technology has sparked growing concern as image processing, pattern recognition, and deep learning have all advanced. Over the past few years, convolutional neural work, in particular You Only Look Once (YOLO), has shown to have considerable advantages in object detection and image classification. This method speeds up detection because it can predict objects in real time. High accuracy: The YOLO prediction method produces accurate results with low background errors. YOLO also understands generalized object representation. This approach, which is among the best at object detection, outperforms R-CNN approaches by a wide margin. In this paper, YOLOv5 is used to demonstrate vehicle type detection; the YOLOv5m model was chosen since it suits mobile deployments, the model was trained with a dataset of 3000 images, where 500 images were allocated for each class with a variety of vehicles. Hyperparameter tuning was applied to optimize the model for better prediction and accuracy. Experimental results for a batch size of 32 trained for 300 epochs show a precision of 98.2%, recall of 94.9%, mAP@.5 of 97.9%, mAP@.5:.95 of 92.8%, and overall accuracy of 95.3% trained and tested on four vehicle classes.","PeriodicalId":191618,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Computational and Applied Mathematics & Computer Science","volume":"22 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116425338","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In parallel to human decision makers, software agents operate in business systems and environments, collaborate, compete and perform algorithmic decision-making tasks as well. In both settings, information aggregation of decision problem parameters and agent preferences is a necessary step to generate group decision outcome. Although plenty aggregation information approaches exist, overcomplexity of the underlying aggregating operation, in most of them, is a drawback, especially for human based group decisions in practice. In this work we introduce an aggregation method for group decision setting, based on the Weighted Ordered Averaging Operator (WOWA). The aggregation is applied on decision maker preferences, following the majority concept to generate a unique set of preferences as input for the decision algorithm. We present the theoretical construction of the model and an application at a group multicriteria assignment decision problem, along with detailed numerical results. The proposed method contributes in the field, as it offers a novel approach that is simple and intuitive, and avoids overcomplexity during group decision process. The method can be also easily deployed into artificial environments and algorithmic decision-making mechanisms.","PeriodicalId":191618,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Computational and Applied Mathematics & Computer Science","volume":"163 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132326209","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Local and global stability property of the system are investigated. By applying the iterative method, we show that the system always admits the unique globally asymptotically stable positive equilibrium. A threshold value R0, which depends on the cannibalism rate and the transform rate, is obtained. Depending on R0 > 1, R0 = 1 or R0 < 1, the final density of the species will smaller or equal to or bigger than the system without cannibalism. Our study shows that if the cannibalism rate is too large, and transform rate is too small, then R0 > 1 and cannibalism has negative effect on the final density of the species, which increase the extinction property of the species.","PeriodicalId":191618,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Computational and Applied Mathematics & Computer Science","volume":"15 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-04-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121471816","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

One of the primary purposes behind making a point of interaction through the Visual Basic Application (VBA) is that most PC clients with logical preparation will currently know about Succeed and its significant capabilities (like arranging furthermore, plotting datasets). Even though Excel itself is in many cases utilized as an information storehouse by clients. The time factor, reliability, and credibility of migrating this data from one table to another through programming interfaces were measured using the link codes between the tables. In this paper, the migration and migration of homogeneous and heterogeneous data are investigated by using two types of different migration models of data to measure and match these data and the extent of their integration after migration. Specifies the target data for migration from the input tables in the Excel program to the target tables in larger databases. Furthermore, the two models (A, B) middleware provide an architecture that can be extended to support Relational database management systems (RDBMS) and other graphing databases. Experiments were performed using excel tables, both of which are related as source information bases, and as the data set for the source and target datasets, the migration time between these tables for the two models was calculated While retaining the same characteristics.","PeriodicalId":191618,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Computational and Applied Mathematics & Computer Science","volume":"22 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130265004","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
