Multifactor Leadership Questionnaire was used as a means of evaluation of the leadership styles. The leadership styles chosen for the study include transformational leadership style, transactional leadership style and autocratic leadership. Three banks viz J&K Bank, SBI and HDFC of Kashmir division of the state of Jammu and Kashmir were selected for the study. The study found that male and female managers varied significantly in exhibiting transformational leadership style. The study focuses on two leadership styles, namely transformational and transactional leadership styles. The study reveals that the transformational leadership style is the dominant leadership style among managers of all age and experience groups. In order to improve the Gross Enrollment Ration (GER), the regulatory bodies should act as facilitator rather than the administrator or inspector. Today, Open Distance Learning (ODL) offered by the Open Universities and Dual mode Universities in India is at cross roads because of multiple control and regulation by several regulatory bodies of the Central Government. A new approach is needed by the regulatory bodies as well as the Govt. of India to remove obstacles put forth by various Regulations restricting the very access of open and distance learning to reap the demographic dividends in the country. This paper critically analyzes the aspects that affect the ODL being offered through Open and Dual mode universities. The paper also critically highlights the challenges being faced by the ODL institutions as well as the opportunities available to them. This is an empirical research based on secondary data collected from Annual Reports and Pro-forma Schedules of IRDA. An Excel data Model was created to taken in the core figures of GWP, NEP, NP and others of 4 General Insurance Majors to calculate other relevant ratios as need for the analysis. The objectives of this study are to analyze a few General Insurance companies in India and core Ratios related to the Insurance Sector only and to comparatively analyse Retention ratio, Total Claims Incurred, Earned Incurred Loss Ratio, and Combined Ratio. The conclusion report has been framed on the basis of which company seems to be the best with respect to its Future Growth prospects, Risk prospects and the stability of its growing business. The study is about identifying the problems during the import and export of the cargo through air transport. There are different stages of the process involved in the import and export of cargo. Some of the major processes are Export operations, Import Operations, AWB (Airway Bill) management, Freight Forwarding, Customs clearance, Transportation. This study gives an idea about problems and challenges in air cargo operations. The problems like a procedural bottleneck of customs clearance, Congestion at airport cargo terminal, Reducing dwell time, unskilled manpower, Inefficient use of belly cargoes capacity, Forecasting Airline cargo capacity and space allocation, challenges of handling hazardous cargo and dangerous cargo etc. For various problems, an overview of the relevant literature review is presented. The data are collected from various employees through questionnaire and observation method which is the primary data collection method used in the research. There is a need to understand the elements of strategic flexibility and the process of efficient decision-making and implementation. Hence this paper reviews the literature and systematically analyses the results on the basis of different criteria. Various aspects of strategic flexibility were interpreted and linked through a conceptual framework. Scholarly database “Web of Science” has been scanned resulting in the inclusion of various qualitative, quantitative and empirical studies. The review consists of paper from various domain, i.e. services, exports, manufacturing, healthcare, etc., covering a period of 1975-2019. This study will help in better understanding of the evolution of the concept over time and will give a clear-cut step in the decision-making process. While traditional forms of investment have its own merits, the sheen of mutual fund has also been realized by Indian investors. A huge investor class have scored mutual fund higher than its counterparts on many counts. While the popularity of this new age investment option is on a rise, however, a mixed view is also experienced. The present study explores the behaviour of investors’ towards mutual fund. The study is based on the premise of regression analysis and binary logistic regression has been used to develop a model that best represents the consumer behaviour. The best model selection is based on the information criteria of Akike. Also, from the model, the researchers have evaluated the probability of mutual fund purchase by consumers. Finally, the research work shows computation of odds ratio that signifies the extent to which the probability of purchasing mutual fund would change with unit change in the levels of the covariates. This study is descriptive in nature and is based on primary survey with a sample size of 376. For women empowerment, state government has initiated many programs with the support of other local bodies including government and non-government organizations like Kudumbashree program, Gender park etc. It has created many opportunities for women to come forward to mainstream of the society and engaging in many public activities. This paper is an attempt to look at state sponsored program for fisher women empowerment called ‘Society for Assistance to Fisherwomen’ (SAF), for uplift of fisherwomen, with the support of both secondary material and ground reality.
