Clock skew can limit overall circuit performance, or even cause functional errors. The main goal of this paper is to analyse and compare the most popular analytical models for estimating the clock skew for present and future VLSI systems. These models are compared for a generic global clock distribution network (an H-tree) with a JAVA program. It is significant to improve squirrel-cage asynchronous motors diagnosis technique in application. It helps to decrease the occurrence of accident and reduce the cost of maintenance. Based on the wavelet packet-neural network the scheme on the real-time diagnosis of the stator, bearing, and eccentricity fault of squirrel-cage asynchronous motors is presented in this paper. The electric machines stator current signal is analyzed and processed, with wavelet packet decomposition algorithm. By this method the problem that conventional FFT algorithm can't provide any partial information in time domain is solved. The eigenvectors of bearing and eccentricity fault that processed by wavelet packet decomposition algorithm. The eigenvectors are tiny. The neural networks are not convergent easily when they are trained, with these eigenvectors as above. To this problem, this paper gives a novel scheme based on logarithm fault eigenvectors extraction. By the logarithm fault eigenvectors proposed, the fault of squirrel-cage asynchronous motors can be real time diagnosed and categorized precisely. The new speed controller enables the time minimal speed control without overshoot. The nonlinear characteristic of speed controller is derived with use of dynamic programming approach. The relatively simple microprocessor realization of speed controller is presented. The risk factors have environmental and behavioral aspects and the research in this paper focuses on the behavioral aspects. Apart from common image processing tasks such as background subtraction, the vision-based toddler tracking involves human classification, acquisition of motion and position information, and handling of regional merges and splits. The human classification is based on dynamic motion vectors of the human body. The center of mass of each contour is detected and connected with the closest center of mass in the next frame to obtain position, speed, and directional information. This tracking system is further enhanced by dealing with regional merges and splits due to multiple object occlusions. In order to identify the merges and splits, two directional detections of closest region centers are conducted between every two successive frames. Merges and splits of a single object due to errors in the background subtraction are also handled. Multiplications are usually done in multibit Pulse Code Modulation (PCM) format. However, applying this format is connected with doing many time-consuming operations what often causes the increase of the total calculation time. On the other hand, mixed formats which join differential codes with PCM codes can lead to the decrease of code word length and speed-up operation in the data computation. Differential codes can be obtained on the basis of differential kinds of Delta Modulation (DM). The main necessity of substation ancillary services is to stay supplied and one modern solution to supply the substation ancillary services using a clean energy is compared versus an actual classical solution. The key elements of the investigated solution are the use of fuel cells with the presence of a DC/AC electronic inverter for substation AC auxiliary services supply in opposition with classical Diesel group solution. For the immediate next future the proposed solutions appear to be technically and economically feasible. Two fuel cell solutions are commercially available, the proton exchange membrane fuel cell (PEMFC) and the solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC), but finally the SOFC is selected for feasibility examination because the CHP possibilities. The fundamental sources of low frequency electromagnetic fields in the TS are the primary elements of the 110 kV open substations as well as connected 110 kV overhead lines. Due to the complexity of the geometry of the substation elements, it was necessary to apply a three-dimensional approach to the computation and analysis of the electromagnetic field. Computations of electromagnetic fields were conducted for quasi-static states of electrical values at a power frequency of 50 Hz. The calculated electric and magnetic fields were compared with permissible levels according to Croatian regulations. This study starts from a major limitation of the coils used for magnetic stimulation: their inability to specifically stimulate the target tissue, without activating the surrounding areas. The first goal of this study was to determine the optimal configuration of coils for some specific applications and evaluate the distribution of the electric field induced.
