Acoustic source localization is a hot research topic with many possible application areas, such as voice enhancement, intruder detection, sniper localization, and automatic tracking of speakers in an e-conferencing environment. Utilization of wireless sensor networks for acoustic source localization can provide good coverage, which not only enhances the accuracy, but also increases the robustness of the overall system. In this paper, we gave an overview of the acoustic source localization based on wireless sensor networks. Firstly, we analyzed the characteristics of acoustic source localization in wireless sensor networks. Then, we classified the existing typical acoustic source localization alogrithms in wireless sensor networks into centralized alogrithms and distributed algorithms. At the same time, we introduced the algorithms and discussed both merits and drawbacks of the algorithms. Finally, we pointed out the design issues of related middleware services.","PeriodicalId":191218,"journal":{"name":"Workshop on Intelligent Information Technology Application (IITA 2007)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125913721","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

An integrated control model based on EPS system model including steering resistance torque and full-car 3 Degree-Of-Freedom (DOF) dynamic model was developed. Various step inputs and sinusoidal inputs were applied to the integrated control model for simulation and the resulting performance was analyzed. In addition,real vehicle test was carried out. The results revealed that the proposed EPS control strategy can provide good performance of stability and controllability of the vehicle, also can reduce the rise time, the adjust time and the overshoot.","PeriodicalId":191218,"journal":{"name":"Workshop on Intelligent Information Technology Application (IITA 2007)","volume":"39 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121438149","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The results indicated that total dry plant weight, plant height and leave number of cucumber seedling were significantly decreased by temperature reduction.; there was significant difference in growth rate and total dry plant weight between different cultivars; the functional relations those natural logarithm of total dry plant weight of cucumber seedling (LnDW) and relative growth rate (RGR) against days of seedling growth (t) at different stages for each treatment could be simulated by a quadratic function and liner function, respectively. Based on above results and some experiential parameters in practice of cucumber production, the CUSSIM model of cucumber seedling was established with Powersim software.","PeriodicalId":191218,"journal":{"name":"Workshop on Intelligent Information Technology Application (IITA 2007)","volume":"19 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130650527","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

How to improve the rate of the Precision and the Recall has become a focus. We first discussed the interactive process in multi-agent system in which there exists an agent with deficient knowledge. Using it, we can deduce a user's intention accessing to his true intention. But the problem of belief conflict can not be slide over when the process is described. We used a measure of Majority operator to solve the problem. The method can improve the efficiency of IR partially resulted from incomplete and indefinite intentions of a user's queries.","PeriodicalId":191218,"journal":{"name":"Workshop on Intelligent Information Technology Application (IITA 2007)","volume":"16 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121285839","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Though traditional information retrieval techniques are useful in normal business information analysis, the retrieved results could hardly reflect the dynamic business status. The goal of the A2DT project is to develop an agent-based framework for dynamic business information analysis. In this paper, a dynamic business information retrieval process is proposed and is compared with the traditional information retrieval process. An agent-based framework for dynamic information retrieval process is presented so as to manage the business status intelligently and dynamically.","PeriodicalId":191218,"journal":{"name":"Workshop on Intelligent Information Technology Application (IITA 2007)","volume":"36 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123223177","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
