In this study, we investigated the potential neuroprotective effects of an aqueous extract derived from the dried fruit pulp of Terminalia chebula against haloperidol-induced neurotoxicity in Wistar albino rats. Haloperidol is an antipsychotic drug that is known to cause neurotoxicity. In this study, haloperidol-treated rats exhibited behavioral disruptions, oxidative stress, and inflammation. Treatment with the aqueous extract of Terminalia chebula significantly improved these outcomes. The aqueous extract of Terminalia chebula exhibited antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. It also protected neuronal architecture. These results suggest that Terminalia chebula may be a potential therapeutic agent for mitigating drug-induced neurotoxicity. The aqueous extract of Terminalia chebula may exert its neuroprotective effects through multiple mechanisms. First, it may act as an antioxidant by scavenging free radicals and reducing oxidative stress. Second, it may have anti-inflammatory properties by suppressing the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines. Third, it may protect neuronal architecture by promoting the growth and repair of neurons. Studies are warranted to elucidate the underlying mechanisms of action of  Terminalia chebula and to translate these findings into clinical applications. In particular, it would be interesting to investigate the effects of Terminalia chebula in humans with drug-induced neurotoxicity.","PeriodicalId":190842,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Experimental Research and Review","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-08-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129979268","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The primary objective is to visually explore these athletes' diverse throwing techniques and shed light on the critical performance factors associated with each style. By employing video analysis tools and techniques, this research intends to provide a detailed examination of the biomechanical nuances and body movements in different throwing methods. Through an extensive collection of video footage featuring collegiate shot-put athletes, the study will meticulously dissect and compare the variations in throwing techniques. The aim is to analyse the different types of throwing techniques used and the technique that produces the best result by collegiate shot-put athletes in and around Bangalore. 220 shot-put athletes of age group between 18-25 years, representing colleges from different Universities were approached to analyse their shot-put throwing technique with two high-definition cameras and analysed using Kinovea software. The mean rank for velocity was higher in the glide technique for both male and female athletes compared to the rotational technique. Male athletes with higher BMI used rotational technique in comparison to athletes with lower BMI, in female athletes with higher BMI used glide technique in comparison to athletes with lower BMI (p-0.0001.) Based on the results obtained from our study, the glide technique was the most prevalent technique used by collegiate athletes. The gliding technique showed better throwing distance than the rotational technique. The findings of this study hold the potential to offer valuable insights to coaches, athletes, and researchers in the field of shot-put training and sports biomechanics. The comparative video analysis approach provides a unique visual perspective that supplements the existing body of knowledge concerning shot put techniques.","PeriodicalId":190842,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Experimental Research and Review","volume":"14 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-08-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125546174","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

On the other hand, plastic mulching materials pollute the land and water because they are not degraded or disposed of properly. Biodegradable plastic mulches (BPM) may be used as a substitute for conventional low-density polyethylene (LDPE) to protect soil health. In this review, the effect of micro(nano)plastics on soil health and function has been discussed in light of their distribution in soil, changes in soil biochemistry, interactions between microplastics with soil microbes and plants, and their growth patterns. The nano-plastics are now incorporated into the food chain from the soil through plants and finally harm the whole ecosystem, including humans. The use of BPM has been practiced recently, but only 1% of the world’s total plastic production is from biodegradable materials. In the second part of the review, the confusing terms \"bio-based\" and \"biodegradable\" were clarified based on their polymeric constituents. The physical parameters of different constituent materials for mulching purposes and their capability for sustainable solarization have been discussed. The effect of biodegradable mulches on soil health and other ecotoxic effects on plants, soil microorganisms, and other soil dwellers like Daphnia magna, Vibrio fischeri bacteria, green algae, slime mould, protozoa, invertebrates like earthworms, and common water fleas have been focused on in this review. In conclusion, the use of BPM for mulching purposes was reported to improve crop quality and yield and reduce weed growth in comparison to naked soil. The recent short-term studies ensured that mulches stayed unbroken throughout the growing season. But simultaneously, the biodegradable mulches affect soil health and have a substantial impact on physical parameters such as soil pH, electrical conductivity, aggregate stability, infiltration, nitrate-N, exchangeable potassium, etc. Therefore, a lot of long-term research is required for the use of BPM as a substitute for conventional LDPE as a mulching film in the agricultural field.","PeriodicalId":190842,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Experimental Research and Review","volume":"66 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-08-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126202037","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The herbal extract is the primary component, although there have been no attempts to standardize it as an active agent or marker. A chromatographic fingerprint represents the chemical components of herbal remedies that are therapeutically advantageous. This study suggests utilizing an HPTLC approach to assess phenols like protocatechuic acid and gallic acid in Acacia catechu extract fractions made of water, ethyl acetate, and butanol. According to the study, protocatechuic acid (11.85%) in the water fraction of the Acacia catechu is more concentrated than gallic acid (6.92%). In contrast, the ethyl acetate fraction contains more gallic acid (11%) and less protocatechuic acid (4.10%). However, the butanol fraction only has 6.62% gallic acid. By the Folin-Coicalteu method, total phenolic content was determined, and antioxidant activity of all fractions was resolute using the DPPH method. It was discovered that ethyl acetate fraction had higher phenolic content (211 mg/g) than aqueous fraction (129 mg/g) and butanol fraction (101.2 mg/g). Ethyl acetate fraction has more potent antioxidant activity than water and Butanol fractions. The research emphasizes the potential of this methodology for efficient and economical phenolic profiling, which may aid in the assessment and use of A. catechu in the nutraceutical and pharmaceutical sectors.","PeriodicalId":190842,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Experimental Research and Review","volume":"137 36","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-08-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131746917","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Coronavirus 2 is responsible for causing severe acute respiratory syndrome. The Piper betle L. leaf, sometimes known as betel, has been used medicinally for centuries. The primary purpose of this docking study is to check the efficacy of the phytochemicals of Betel leaf (Piper betle) against COVID-19. Traditionally, it is used as a medicinal plant containing many bioactive constituents, which can be used to develop a drug for COVID-19. We have used molecular docking for the SARS-CoV2 receptor on a complex antibody protein with PDB ID-7BNV and PDB ID-7CM4. Betel leaf (Piper betle) contains various phytochemicals such as Eugenol, Alpha pinene, Alpha terpinene, Beta phellandrene, Terpinolene, Sabinene, Hydroxychavicol, Germacrene D, etc. All this data is collected from the PubChem database. All evaluations were carried out based on molecular docking of docking score of receptor interaction with the ligand. Using ligands, we were able to effectively molecular dock Betel leaf (Piper betle) phytochemicals on the SARS-CoV2 target (Eugenol, Alpha pinene, Alpha terpinene, Beta phellandrene, Terpinolene, Sabinene, Hydroxychavicol, Germacrene D). Based on molecular docking scores, we concluded that all the ligands showed significant activity for both the proteins of SARS-CoV2.","PeriodicalId":190842,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Experimental Research and Review","volume":"5 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-08-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132134218","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The motivation is to address the need for more accurate and efficient fault prediction in machinery to prevent breakdowns, reduce maintenance costs, and improve overall reliability. In this work, deep learning classifiers used to classify ball defect inner race fault, outer race fault and normal motor performance in testing. With the aid of three distinct classifiers CNN, FFNN, and RBN; these suggested relative characteristics are assessed. In comparison to other current algorithms, the suggested methodology for classifying motor performance achieved maximum accuracy in each CNN test at 95.4% and 97.7%. The correlation and chi-square algorithms are used to find out the added characteristics and rank of features. The correlation technique provides relations between attributes, and the chi-square offers the optimal balance between precision and feature space. We discovered that the performance is enhanced overall by relative power characteristics. The suggested models might offer rapid responses with less complexity.","PeriodicalId":190842,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Experimental Research and Review","volume":"124 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-08-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123802391","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
