Its implications have been in the arena of Ayurveda as well. The extent of practice and knowledge among Ayurvedic physicians is yet to be studied. Study to determine how much and what kind of knowledge Ayurvedic physicians have about Telemedicine. Google form survey-based cross-sectional study among Ayurvedic physicians in Kerala via WhatsApp. The questionnaire was developed based on in-depth interviews among Ayurveda physicians from each speciality, which is pretested to confirm reliability and validity tested using Split half and Cronbach’s alpha test (alpha coefficient =0.48). Cross tabs of the variables and various factors of telemedicine practice were worked out to see the relationship. More than half of the participants (54.8%) do not practice telemedicine. Among those practising telemedicine, 90% of participants commenced during the pandemic. All the practitioners in the government sector started with telemedicine due to the pandemic, while a small share of private practitioners (5.9%) cast off it before. The majority had not gone through the guidelines issued on telemedicine. 54% of government practitioners are dissatisfied, while 60% of private practitioners are content. Practices like consent-taking hardly apply. Acceptability and applicability of Telemedicine among Ayurveda physicians are slow. Addition of Medico-legal and technological education as a part of the curriculum is the need of the hour to catch up with the cumulative numeral of “e-patients”.","PeriodicalId":190842,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Experimental Research and Review","volume":"11 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-04-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128402478","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This unique property of stem cells, called trans differentiation/linear reprogramming, aided in regenerative medicine and tissue repair. The mechanism of such regeneration is still unclear and requires further analysis. Due to the use of external or oncogenic factors, one of the approaches for mending cardiac, renal, and neurological disorders after an injury by induced pluripotent stem cells in the form of reprogramming does not show much benefit in the clinical setting. Consequently, cellular reprogramming may enable the application of clinical research to cell therapy, disease modelling, drug screening, and the fabrication of artificial organs. Studies related to this distinctive phenomenon of stem cells, where the cells could reprogramme themselves into completely different cell lineages, showed a promising future in therapeutic applications.  However, unrelenting development in cellular reprogramming has prepared the ways for novel strategies in which signalling pathway manipulation may decide cellular destiny. This cellular reprogramming has got bright prospects in the field of regenerative medicine. Therefore, understanding the relationship between stochasticity and defining cell fate can help decipher molecular regulatory mechanisms of cellular reprogramming.","PeriodicalId":190842,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Experimental Research and Review","volume":"4 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-04-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130645239","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is worth noting here that leather footwear in Kolhapuri style has a distinguished history spanning hundreds of years. This craft style is a labor-intensive production process in which the primitive nature of the tools and equipment are used. In the present context, this craft style is about to go extinct because of artisans' declining interest. The present study reports an attempt to improve the manufacturing procedure and productivity without changing the fundamental nature of the craft (its actual essence). The study reports on the local craft cluster's efforts to rethink the craft style in terms of technological interventions, skill development, product diversification, commercial opportunities, etc. Further, the study reports the necessity of conducting social workshops on design innovations. The study advocates the revitalization of Kolhapur's identity and the need for acceleration of this dying craft.","PeriodicalId":190842,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Experimental Research and Review","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-04-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115690474","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This research aims to determine which compounds are present in Annona squamosa L. leaves and seeds extracts, as well as their antioxidant and anticancer potential. Annona squamosa L. hexane, methanol, and aqueous extracts were analysed for their phytochemical content, and results showed the existence of many useful compounds. The DPPH assay was used to measure the antioxidant activity. In particular, the low IC50 values revealed that the plant extracts under study possessed remarkable antioxidant activities. Antioxidant phytochemicals such alkaloid, flavonoid, phenol, oil, phytosterol, coumarin, and saponins may be responsible for these benefits. This research shows that extracts of Annona squamosa L. have a high antioxidant activity and promise as a dietary supplement and possible medicinal agent.  MTT assay was used to test for anticancer characteristics. Cell viability was assessed for each extract using a negative control and a positive control (Cisplatin). Both the Annona squamosa L. (seeds) methanolic extract and the Annona squamosa L. (leaves) water extract showed substantial efficacy in this investigation against the MCF-7 breast cancer cell line. It follows that extracts of Annona squamosa L. (leaves) and (seeds) could be used to create a natural medicine for breast cancer treatment.","PeriodicalId":190842,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Experimental Research and Review","volume":"22 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-04-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126996237","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The management of the frozen shoulder are numerous, but the studies show their own limitation. Biomechanically, it was noted that the cause of the frozen shoulder is capsular tightness. However, previous studies are not explained this well. So, this study was designed to identify the effect of capsular stretch on a frozen shoulder. Study was conducted at the OPD of physiotherapy, Chettinad Super Specialist Hospital, Chennai. Two hundred and twenty participants were selected for the study. Screening was conducted for these participants, and eighty were recruited for the study. They were all randomly allocated into two groups, with twenty-five (25) in each. Group I, with 25 subjects,, was given capsular stretching for 15 minutes and moist heat therapy for 10 mins. Group II, with 25 subjects, was given general shoulder exercises for 15 minutes and moist heat therapy for 10 mins. All the subjects were taught with Codman’s pendular exercises as a home programme. Study was conducted for eight (8) weeks. The outcomes selected in this study are pain and range of motion (Abduction & External rotation). This was assessed using a Numerical pain rating scale and Goniometer. Collected data were analyzed using SPSS 24.0. The NPR and ROM variables were examined using the unpaired ‘t’-test with the 0.05%. The result of the study shows that the ‘t’ value for the NPR is 20.25 ± 0.15 with p< 0.05%, the Abduction range of motion is 15.6 ± 2.77, and External rotation is 15.04 ± 1.53. This indicates a marked difference obtained among Group I and Group II, as well as a substantial variation between the pre-intervention and post-intervention values. This study concluded that capsular stretching had significantly improved pain and shoulder range of motion more than shoulder exercises.","PeriodicalId":190842,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Experimental Research and Review","volume":"33 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-04-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121539021","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To achieve this goal, the optimal parameters of the conventional filters are determined using the nature-inspired black widow (BWO) optimization algorithm to remove the noise efficiently. The BWO algorithm is chosen over other optimization algorithms because it quickly explores the optimal parameter values due to its procreate and cannibalism steps. The procreate step explores new solutions, whereas the cannibalism steps remove the inappropriate solutions while exploring the optimal solution. In the proposed method, speckle and sharpening filters are considered. In the proposed method, initially, medical images are read. After that, they are enhanced using the power law method because images are either low or high contrast. In the power law method, the gamma value plays an important role. Therefore, the optimal gamma value is determined using the BWO algorithm as done for the filter values. After that, noise addition is performed on them and removed them using the speckle filter. Further, the edges of the image are filtered using the sharpening filter. The proposed method is validated on the standard dataset images downloaded from Kaggle. It is found that the proposed method enhances the image and removes the noise in a controlled manner. Besides that, it achieves better Mean Square Error (MSE) and Peak Signal to Noise Ratio (PSNR) in the output.","PeriodicalId":190842,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Experimental Research and Review","volume":"2017 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-04-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128764798","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
