Given the constraints of the library in general regarding its collection, within the scope of the school, the library is only known as a place to store student textbooks. Then the arrangement is not in accordance with the standard national classification rules, where in the school library the collection is arranged based on color or size. Then a room far from a place that should be able to preserve collections. Then the librarians, most of whom are school librarians are picket teachers, or Indonesian language teachers, or teachers who are about to retire, not librarians who are professions capable of managing libraries properly. So that all aspects in the library are arranged based on the teacher's thoughts, not based on standards that have been set as a quality library. By establishing cooperation between school libraries, it will maintain or even increase the existence of libraries in the public eye. In the criminal justice system in Indonesia, it is known that there are four institutions that play a role, namely the police which act as an investigative and investigative agency, the prosecutor's office which acts as an institution that carries out prosecutions, the Supreme Court as an institution that oversees judges in the court environment, and Correctional Institutions. The existence of Advocates as law enforcers has been regulated in Article 5 of the Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 18 of 2003 concerning Advocates. However, regarding the actual form and place of the Advocate's role as law enforcer, it is still unclear, especially in its role as a supporting component for the realization of an integrated criminal justice system, as a result, criminal law enforcement in Indonesia has not been optimal. This research uses normative legal research methods or literature studies, namely by analyzing UU.RI. No. 18 of 2003 concerning Advocates and UU.RI No. 8 of 1981 concerning Criminal Procedure Code (KUHAP), as well as other laws and regulations and library materials related to the role of Advocates to answer problems. The results of the study show that in terms of form and place, there are 2 (two) roles of advocates as law enforcers, namely (1) the role of advocates in the form of legal assistance to perpetrators based on Article 54 of the Criminal Procedure Code, (2) the role of advocates in the form of legal assistance to victims who regulated outside the Criminal Procedure Code. This study uses qualitative research methods, using a descriptive analysis approach. The findings of this study, students who meet their information needs prioritize visiting the library rather than going to the internet or other libraries. While the information source that students use the most is the third source of information (tertiary source), namely textbooks (textbooks) compared to the first source of information (primary source) and the second source of information (secondary source). Meanwhile, before conducting an information search, namely by looking at and reviewing the syllabus and preparing some of the notes needed in accordance with the theme of the task (starting). After that they determine the subject and use the core reference to link the search for the desired subject (chaining). Behavior when searching for information, they perform searches on collection shelves, OPAC, and the internet (browsing). The last behavior is that after searching for information, they carry out monitoring, extracting, checking, and ending. The obstacle faced by informants when searching on the internet is the lack of information search strategies applied by them, especially in determining the subject. In addition, the information they get is very much (overloaded).
