UV-Vis absorption spectrum of TiO 2 and TiO 2 : piperine nanoparticles have an absorption edge in the range of (340 -355) nm, suggesting that the TiO 2 colloidal obtained is anatase phase. The band gap energy (E g ) for TiO 2 nanoparticles (3.46 eV) is higher than the value of (3.20 eV) for bulk TiO 2 . X-Ray diffraction results for TiO 2 nanoparticles with a wavelength of 1.54 Å were investgation in this work. Planes (101), (200), (111), (220), (210), (211), (105), (220), (310), (221), and (220) crystal planes all had peaks with the lattice constants a = 3.755 Å and c = 9.5114 Å confirms the anatase phases of the TiO 2 nanoparticles according to the JCPDS file 21-127231. Scanning Electron Microscope images of TiO 2 samples in revealed the prevalence spherical nanosized crystallites, where clear nanostructures with a grain size of 15 nm. In TEM image, the shape of the nanoparticles was spherecial, with small size variance and found to be 15 nm. The EDX study of the nanoparticle reflects the atomic percentage of elements such as Ti and O with a ratio of 83:17 and no other peaks are observed this confirm the presence of TiO 2 nanoparticles.","PeriodicalId":18971,"journal":{"name":"Nano Biomedicine and Engineering","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"45893008","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

After preparation of magnesium oxide nanoparticles by precipitation method, it was diagnosed by X-ray diffraction and Transmission Electron Microscopy. the loaded was diagnosed by Docking program, UV-Visible and Transmission Electron Microscopy. The study of LD50 was for thirty male mice. Magnesium Oxide nanoparticles had an average crystallite size of 8.42 nm. oral LD50 test was 896 mg/kg. Docking results presented a high energy binding with force linkage due to the link of the oxygen atom of MgO NPs with three hydrogen bonds of amino acids in the rHuEPO-alpha structure. The UV-Visible result was certain that all rHuEPO-alpha drug was loaded on the surface of MgO NPs. TEM shows that the average particle size was 9.94 nm after loaded of the rHuEPO-alpha drug on MgO NPs while was 9 nm before the loaded. Magnesium oxide nanoparticles may exhibit an effect on increasing the efficacy of rHuEPO-alpha after the loaded, leading to elevated hemoglobin and reduced anemia disease.","PeriodicalId":18971,"journal":{"name":"Nano Biomedicine and Engineering","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"46148812","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

As a result, this research provides a comprehensive picture of waste recycling, and reuse throughout extraction and it examines the current state and potential developments in mineral and metal waste recycling and reusing them in different applications, among these applications, it is used CaO and CaO:MgO:Fe2O3 NPs in medical applications, including uterine cancer. Characterizations of the extracted nano-products were done using (XRD) which confirmed the crystalline nature of CaO and the mixture of CaO:MgO:Fe2O3 NPs. More, (FESEM) has been used to demonstrate the morphology of the nanostructures of CaO and the mixture CaO:MgO:Fe2O3 NPs. The data yielded the average grain size of CaO and the mixture CaO:MgO:Fe2O3 NPs calculated by SEM and XRD (64.08, 84.2) nm and (38.636, 31.597) nm respectively. (EDS) spectrum and XRD pattern suggested that prepared CaO and the mixed CaO:MgO:Fe2O3 NPs were highly pure. In addition, the ability of NPs as a promising anticancer agent was tested against MES-SA cells line, according to the MTT assay results of MESSA cells the IC50 (91.65 and 98.4) μg/mL for CaO and CaO:MgO:Fe2O3 NPs respectively. The results showed that the extracted nanoparticles CaO and the mixture CaO:MgO:Fe2O3 NPs served as an anticancer agent.","PeriodicalId":18971,"journal":{"name":"Nano Biomedicine and Engineering","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"44724684","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The results showed that prepared SnO2:Co were nano films and poly crystalline in form with favored reflection permanently (110) plan, and the crystallite size decreases as the Co concentration increased 9-14 nm. The optical properties represented by the transmittance of perspicuous and cobalt transplantation SnO2 layers were studied and results showed that highest transmittance obtained was 91% in the pure films and decreased to 78% as the Co concentration increased; the wavelength range was 300-900 nm due to be the increasing of the Co amount during the deposition, leading to a linear increase in mobility and carrier concentration, until a threshold of Co content was overcome and from that point onward the mobility began to decrease. Optical energy gaps of perspicuous and Co transplantation SnO2 nano layers were determined and the energy gap was reduced from 3.50 eV of perspicuous nano layers to 3.29 eV for the highest transplantation concentration.","PeriodicalId":18971,"journal":{"name":"Nano Biomedicine and Engineering","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"44415427","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Several reports have shown that capsaicin exerts significant antitumoral effects in several cancer cell lines, including gliomas. However, its application has been very limited due to its hydrophobicity, low affinity, and short life span. Gliomas are a heterogeneous group of brain malignant tumors with increasing prevalence worldwide. Standard therapy against these tumors generally includes resection by surgery, radiation, and chemotherapy or their combination. However, elicitation of tumor resistance to chemical or radiation treatments remains one of the main challenges to be resolved, particularly in the case of glioblastomas. Nanotechnology is an innovative approach to the treatment of Central Nervous System diseases and especially to gliomas treatment. Indeed, the use of nanotherapeutic formulations offers several advantages over the conventional methods of drug delivery therapy. In this review, we analyzed the current literature regarding the development of capsaicin-loaded nanoparticles as a promising approach for the treatment of malignant brain tumors.","PeriodicalId":18971,"journal":{"name":"Nano Biomedicine and Engineering","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"49578214","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
