It is shown that the structural free-volume entities in theses glasses can be adequately described by positron modes determined within two-state trapping model. The observed changes in defect-related component in the fit of experimental lifetime spectra for annealed glasses testifies in a favour of structural fragmentation of larger free volume entities into smaller ones. Because of strong deviation in defect-free bulk positron lifetime τb from corresponding additive values proper to boundary constituents, the studied Ge-Ga-S/Se glasses cannot be considered as typical representatives of pseudo-binary cut-section.","PeriodicalId":189618,"journal":{"name":"2013 International Conference on Advanced Optoelectronics and Lasers (CAOL 2013)","volume":"17 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-11-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123789963","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

These resonances are present for any periodic 2-D structures and have striking properties as their Q-factors increase if the grating period becomes larger. Besides, in such a resonance the domain of high-intensity scattered field occupies a very wide domain along the grating. In this paper we investigate a configuration where we have a dielectric slab and an infinite grating of air holes inside it. This structure is closer to practical applications in nano and micro-optics and our study shows the presence of the grating resonances having complicated behaviour.","PeriodicalId":189618,"journal":{"name":"2013 International Conference on Advanced Optoelectronics and Lasers (CAOL 2013)","volume":"70 11","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-11-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"120860057","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The laser beam in the resonator is focused into the reflector assembly system composed of a reflector with a small central hole and an output mirror with a central coupling hole. According to the theory of diffraction optics, the laser optical field distribution in the cavity and the far-field distribution are analyzed by numerical calculation. In the experiment, the variations of the laser output power with continuous current discharged is measured. The maximum laser output power is 14.5W at the discharge current 12mA. The laser power distribution of the output beam at the distance of 1m is measured, and the result is in good accordance with numerical calculation. The laser cavity with hole-coupling can be used in intracavity pumped THz laser output and other types of intracavity pumped lasers.","PeriodicalId":189618,"journal":{"name":"2013 International Conference on Advanced Optoelectronics and Lasers (CAOL 2013)","volume":"253 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-11-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123754232","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
