These e-textbooks can be accessed via iPad which is given to each student. Hence, the objective of this study is to test the proposed research model based on integrated UTAUT2 and TTF. Questionnaires were distributed to 326 students in 10 classes. Only junior and sophomore students were eligible to fulfill the questionnaires. The result of the study shows that performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, facilitating condition, and habit have a direct significant relationship on behavioral intention to use mobile e-textbook. The result also shows that both Task technology and technology characteristic positively affect task technology fit. There is also a direct significant relationship between Task technology fit and performance expectancy. We suggest that further studies include experimentation to investigate performance expectancy of mobile e-book. 2) More evaluation should be held in the future in more mature environment. The finding of this study can help policymakers in the Faculty of Economics UAJY to evaluate the policy and formulate better strategy. In addition, these findings can be used by others faculties and universities as mobile e-textbook adoption case reference.","PeriodicalId":189252,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 2nd International Conference on Communication and Information Processing","volume":"08 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-11-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130572811","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Nine functions corresponding to different screening schemes are established in advance according to the direction relations of pixels. Then one of the screening scheme could be called to complete the screening operations on the basis of the gradient values of pixel to be screened and the around eight pixels. The simulation results show that compared with the traditional digital screening methods, the prefabricated functions algorithm can effectively improve the performance and execution speed.","PeriodicalId":189252,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 2nd International Conference on Communication and Information Processing","volume":"77 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-11-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130849841","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Current equipping sensors in self-driving car is able to produce bounding box of vehicles in the proximity, but it does not recognize the viewpoint of them. Analyzing surrounding cars' direction in very complex environment has a significant role for autonomous driving. Utilizing nothing but a captured image, the purpose of this research is to classify viewpoint of vehicle: (1) front; (2) rear; (3) side; (4) front-side; and (5) rear-side. Deep convolutional neural network is used as the tool in performing classification task. The approach involves examining different CNN architectures using a large scale car dataset. In addition to that, the goal of the model is to be small and fast enough for limited hardware resource. We are able to achieve 95% accuracy, 57ms inference time on Nvidia GRID K520 GPU, and 1.6 MB Caffe model size.","PeriodicalId":189252,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 2nd International Conference on Communication and Information Processing","volume":"63 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-11-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130667915","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

For the SCAJ receiver using the IED scheme, the closed expression of jamming detection and false alarm probability under Rayleigh fading channels is derived, and the outage probability of SCAJ system is analyzed. Simulation results show that the effect impacted by self-interference (SI) at SCAJ receiver can be suppressed and the outage performance of SCAJ system is improved by the proposed IED scheme.","PeriodicalId":189252,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 2nd International Conference on Communication and Information Processing","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-11-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130916461","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To identify non-line-of-sight status and line-of-sight (LOS) status and improve the accuracy of indoor localization, a D-S evidence theory based NLOS identification algorithm was proposed. The algorithm is divided into two parts. In the first part, respectively extract a variety of RSS features in NLOS and LOS status and choose the appropriate filter for data processing; in the second part, RSS features fused by D-S evidence theory are used to identify NLOS and LOS status. In an actual test environment, the algorithm was applied to fingerprinting localization, then analyzed the advantages of fusing RSS features and the influence of RSS features selection on experimental results. Finally, compared with several commonly used NLOS and LOS identification algorithm, it shows the proposed algorithm can deal with the indoor localization environment with obstacles with a high localization accuracy and good stability.","PeriodicalId":189252,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 2nd International Conference on Communication and Information Processing","volume":"9 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-11-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131171894","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this paper, polytomous logistic regression has been applied to facilitate the discovery of these patterns. With an objective of determining characteristics of different categories of subscribers, data mining methods and techniques were used to extract and select data from collated text messages of network users. These were further normalized and cross-validated for model creation. Results disclosed hidden distinct attributes associated with each type of SMS users. These characteristics could facilitate the creation of new schemes of SMS packages as well as bundling of other services, hence a tipoff for improvement of business strategies for maximizing revenue of telecommunication companies.","PeriodicalId":189252,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 2nd International Conference on Communication and Information Processing","volume":"58 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-11-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133242818","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
