The investigated approach intends to counteract tool deflections, and thus to damp and disrupt chatter vibrations by using milling tools with defined functional structures on the flank faces at the frontal cutting edges. For the fundamental investigation of the interactions between structural geometric properties and the tool-workpiece interaction, the engagement situation was geometrically evaluated on a highly abstracted level. Subsequently, hypotheses derived from this were validated experimentally in analogy tests with linear cutting motion. In these cutting experiments, dynamic deflections were induced by an external excitation of the specifically compliant modular tool system. Finally, the technologically most relevant structure variants were applied to milling tools and evaluated with regard to their dynamic behavior. This investigation was preceded by a simulation-based analysis of the material removal on the frontal flank face as a function of the process configuration, which is characterized by multiple intersecting cuts in milling processes. By specifically optimizing and coordinating the structure design and the process configuration, an increase in process stability and thus productivity of at least 100% could be achieved.","PeriodicalId":18723,"journal":{"name":"MM Science Journal","volume":"9 10","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-11-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"136227303","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

For the bilayer TiSiN/TiAlN coated tool, the stress state in the cutting process with different feed rates were explored through cutting experiments. A high-temperature and high-frequency impact test platform was built. Through the impact tests with the introduction of the ‘pre-loading depth’, the fatigue properties and failure mechanisms of coatings under various test conditions were analyzed. Based on the comparative analysis of the results obtained in cutting experiments and impact tests, the mapping relationship between fatigue properties and cutting performances of the coatings was established, thus providing theory and practice foundation for characterization the cutting performance of coated tools under different cutting parameters by high-temperature and high-frequency impact tests.","PeriodicalId":18723,"journal":{"name":"MM Science Journal","volume":"9 9","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-11-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"136227304","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this way, the simulation process can be optimally set up and the output information from the model environment can be used efficiently. From the selection of input parameters to the detail and accuracy of the output values of the model itself. Many authors are dealing with digital twins of production machines. However, they treat the actual drive part of the machine tool as a black box. However, its function occupies a significant part in the creation of such a model. On the other hand, the second part of the authors focus specifically on the actuator modeling, but they do not consider the methodological approach according to the need of output information. This is related to the negative impact on the impracticality of deploying such models in real applications.","PeriodicalId":18723,"journal":{"name":"MM Science Journal","volume":"19 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-10-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135547421","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

For quantitative risk assessment, it is proposed to use qualimetric methods. It is proposed to obtain estimates of hazardous factors on a dimensionless scale using the error function (erf). Knowing the density function of the law of distribution of random variables of quantitative values of negative factors, the density function of their estimates on a dimensionless scale was obtained. Functionally dependent statistics were obtained. The density function makes it possible to determine the risk of a hazardous factor score falling into the hazardous assessment interval.","PeriodicalId":18723,"journal":{"name":"MM Science Journal","volume":"13 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-10-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135547439","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The position of the mobile robot is definitively identified based on data derived from constructing maps with SLAM or extracting data from camera frames. Due to the complexity of the surroundings, obstacle avoidance still requires a complex sensor system with a high processing efficiency demand. The study provides an improved RRT* algorithm for mobile robot path planning in a given environment. RRT* will optimize the number of grid nodes based on the optimal cost functions of nodes in the searching environment. The improved RRT* algorithm with a safety cost increases the efficacy of obstacle avoidance. Hence, an improved RRT* algorithm based on the traditional RRT algorithm will remove redundant path nodes. Furthermore, the third-degree B-spline curve will smooth the path while ensuring MOOPs. Last but not least, simulations and experiments are shown to demonstrate the effectiveness of the suggested strategy.","PeriodicalId":18723,"journal":{"name":"MM Science Journal","volume":"62 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-10-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135547286","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A fusion with inertial measurement units is probably the most common. The main objective of this paper was the evaluation of low-cost u-blox NEO-M8U module in kinematic positioning. In the 21st century, one of the most important resources with a continuously increasing influence on an enterprise's results is the enterprise's knowledge. In order to make its acquisition and use as cost-effective as possible, the knowledge strategy of an enterprise must be defined. The core of this paper is the description of a new methodology for creating such a strategy. This methodology has been designed to enable both the easiest possible implementation in practical conditions and the most effective use of the knowledge strategy in supporting the creation and implementation of business strategy.","PeriodicalId":18723,"journal":{"name":"MM Science Journal","volume":"61 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-10-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135547419","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
