These systems utilize high-resolution cameras and advanced algorithms to produce accurate and precise 3D models, which are essential for analyzing, documenting, and preserving cultural heritage. While there are various methods for creating 3D models, minimizing cost and time is a primary concern. This paper focuses on photogrammetry as an option for surface reconstruction that might be used to make 3D representations of transparent objects. The objective of the research is to investigate the feasibility of creating appropriate 3D models for surface reconstruction and units of transparent objects through photogrammetry, utilizing open-source photogrammetry algorithms.","PeriodicalId":18723,"journal":{"name":"MM Science Journal","volume":"2 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-10-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135547289","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The gearbox is found in every mechanical machine and represents only one small but important sub-application. Industry as a whole has a constant demand for new individual solutions tailored to solve particular problems. But again and again, it is called upon to find new ways of transmitting movements that a particular component is required to conduct so as to attain a particular result. Harmonic drive products are unique precision speed reducers playing important roles in robots, semiconductor manufacturing systems, factory automation equipment and furthermore, in aerospace equipment. The greatest benefits are the zero-backlash characteristics and the weight and space savings compared to other gears because our gear mechanism consists of only three basic parts. They are the: Wave Generator, Flexspline and Circular Spline.","PeriodicalId":18723,"journal":{"name":"MM Science Journal","volume":"62 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-10-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135547423","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Additive manufacturing (AM) or three-dimensional printing offering more significant advantages, can manufacture complex geometries of products with various materials. AM plays a main role in reducing the number of parts, helping reduce and eliminate assembly time and cost. However, the application is still limited, especially in developing countries like Vietnam. This research paper aims to identify and assess the challenges associated with applying additive manufacturing in Southeast Vietnam. This study is conducted in three phases. Step one identifies challenges by reviewing previous studies. Step two applies semi-structured interviews with experts to consolidate these challenges to build a multi-level hierarchical structure of challenges. The third stage is to use a multi-hierarchical process method to rank these issues in order to organize the necessary resources for a successful response. The results show that there are five main challenges and 25 sub-challenges in implementing additive printing technology. Using the Average AHP method, financial and strategic challenges are ranked first and second significant, respectively. This paper contributes by identification of Additive Manufacturing implementation challenges based on the literature review and semi-structured interview with the experts. It provides an assessment of the challenges to help the practitioners robust the addictive manufacturing implementation in the manufacturing industry in Vietnam with limited resources.","PeriodicalId":18723,"journal":{"name":"MM Science Journal","volume":"62 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-10-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135547426","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To confirm the effectiveness of the parameters of the solid-phase polycondensation process of polyethylene terephthalate, its reaction extrusion was carried out with commercially available chain extenders of the diepoxide class. The optimal content of chain extenders of the diepoxide class for changing the complex of physical, mechanical and rheological properties of polyethylene terephthalate modified by them was determined. The purchase of new and modern machines requires a huge amount of cost and trained human resources. Meanwhile, traditional machines have the advantages of low investment costs, efficiency in roughing machining, and low labor costs. However, one of the disadvantages of traditional machines is that the machining surface is poor, and tool wear occurs more frequently. To overcome these disadvantages, a proposed solution is to digitize traditional machines. The authors have implemented a digitizing project on a milling machine by connecting a motor controller and sensors, reading and transmitting data to the center, and displaying it. The information obtained will help improve the machining process and limit the risk of failure.","PeriodicalId":18723,"journal":{"name":"MM Science Journal","volume":"34 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-10-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135547431","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
