When this stress is prolonged, depression may develop insidiously, impairing one's ability to cope with stress. Around the world, up to 15% of new mothers may experience postpartum depression, a mental condition. It has been linked to poor maternal and newborn bonding, reduced breastfeeding initiation, and poor mental health outcomes for mothers, children, and infants. Even though they are common, up to 50% of postpartum issues may go undiagnosed or untreated. Therefore, it is imperative to detect symptoms in the early stages for prevention and intervention. In this paper, we review the existing techniques for PPD detection and prevention and cite their merits and demerits. The secondary questionnaire-based screening tools can only act after the onset of depression but before the development of the disorder, while primary prevention approaches, which use powerful machine learning algorithms, can work before the emergence of symptoms themselves with a higher accuracy. The most accurate classifier has been proven to be Support Vector Machine in the vast majority of instances. Recently, Electroencephalogram (EEG) has received the most research attention because of its superior features in measuring cognitive abilities in real-time. Therefore, adopting EEG-based methodologies could help address inconsistencies caused by earlier approaches. Accordingly, the review suggests exploring the use of EEG for improving the detection of postpartum depression to account for early interventions.","PeriodicalId":184366,"journal":{"name":"2023 2nd International Conference on Computational Systems and Communication (ICCSC)","volume":"9 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126624100","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is a crucial consideration of mobile robotics since it helps robots to navigate their environment and execute tasks in a safe and efficient manner. Path planning for mobile robots presents numerous difficulties, including the need to take into account the robot's physical capabilities and constraints, the presence of static obstacles and other dynamic elements of the environment, and the need to optimize for factors such as energy efficiency and time. Path planning is crucial for the successful deployment of mobile robots in a range of applications, including search and rescue, transportation, inspection, and production. It can also play a crucial role in enabling robots to function in collaborative contexts alongside people. Inspired by natural evolution and genetics, evolutionary algorithms are a kind of optimization technique. They are widely utilized in numerous fields, including mobile robot path planning. Evolutionary algorithms have the potential to find solutions to difficult, nonlinear problems, which is a major advantage for mobile robot path planning. Evolutionary algorithms are able to avoid local minima and produce globally optimal solutions, whereas conventional optimization approaches frequently become trapped in unsatisfactory solutions. This is especially crucial in real-world contexts where the robot may encounter unforeseen impediments or environmental changes. Using the ant colony optimization algorithm as an efficient evolutionary approach, this work seeks to determine the path of a mobile robot in an environment containing a number of static and dynamic obstacles. The presented model demonstrated that ACO is an effective real-time calculating solution for this type of problem.","PeriodicalId":184366,"journal":{"name":"2023 2nd International Conference on Computational Systems and Communication (ICCSC)","volume":"290 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114054411","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Detecting correct GUI elements is a prior work for generating an automation script but, precise identification of GUI elements is much more difficult. Biological functions are enabled by their naive structure, which plays a very important and crucial role in the design of vaccines and drugs. This acts as one of the main sources of motivation in predicting protein structure from its sequence of amino acids coupled with other information to get highly accurate prediction and classification, which indeed is one of the fundamental computational biology problems. As of now, not much focus has been given to the inclusion of sidechain structure information and prediction of the protein backbone. In this paper, it is shown that a new dataset called SidechainNet, which extends from the ProteinNet dataset, can be used to predict and classify the structure of proteins more accurately. This is because SidechainNet consists of angle and atomic coordinate information, which describes almost all the heavy atoms of each and every protein structure. The background information on the availability of data on the protein structure and the importance of ProteinNet is discussed. It is followed by the beneficial inclusion of additional information that SidechainNet has, which helps in predicting the structure of the protein more accurately. At last, it is shown how using a Machine Learning model, a highly accurate protein structure is obtained by applying SidechainNet as its dataset.","PeriodicalId":184366,"journal":{"name":"2023 2nd International Conference on Computational Systems and Communication (ICCSC)","volume":"31 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114171804","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The non- orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) system can be used with the orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) approach to attain higher spectral efficiency. Due to its improved spectrum efficiency, NOMA has recently drawn a large interest and could be crucial in advancing network capability. For this study, we propose the Arctangent Least Mean Square (ATLMS) Algorithms, which are created for channel estimations in the NOMA-OFDM system and aim to minimize BER, and MSE and also to boost the system capacity as well as the number of accessible users. The suggested method for channel estimation impact on the NOMA-OFDM system is demonstrated using simulation data.","PeriodicalId":184366,"journal":{"name":"2023 2nd International Conference on Computational Systems and Communication (ICCSC)","volume":"19 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130511663","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Most of the existing information retrieval systems are struggling to retrieve documents with a similar meaning, and they are helpful only to get documents based on matching keywords. The query expansion is a logically simple and straightforward technique to improve the effectiveness of information retrieval in this background. The existing statistical approach depends mainly on the term frequency to generate candidate documents for the expanded or normal query. Most of the existing works do not consider the ways in which the content in a particular document can be represented differently by keeping the same context. This paper proposes a novel Synonym Weighted - Vector Space Model and query expansion technique for an effective synonym-incorporated method for document retrieval. The combination of modified Term Frequency - Inverse Document Frequency(TF-IDF) and synonym extended VSM has given a promising outcome for the experiments throughout the study. The proposed method is validated with two English-written publicly available datasets - CACM and CISI. The quantitative measures, like mean average precision, precision, recall, and F-measure obtained in the experiments are found to be better for the proposed method compared with the classical VSM and other baseline methods in the problem domain. We could obtain the highest precision of 0.83 and 0.65 for the CACM and CISI datasets respectively.","PeriodicalId":184366,"journal":{"name":"2023 2nd International Conference on Computational Systems and Communication (ICCSC)","volume":"57 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133926949","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

These fields really tend to help mankind a lot. In this work, we would make use of Machine Learning aspects to perform prediction of diseases in plant. Specifically, spot the Early Blight Disease in the Potato Leaves. The potato plant, Solanum tuberosum, is a significant crop that is grown all over the world and generates large quantities of tubers that are a good source of nutrients. The potato has many medicinal benefits in addition to being a common staple diet. When the fluid out from tubers is consumed in moderation, it can treat gastric ulcers and relieve inflammation and acidity. Two harmful potato diseases, late blight and early blight, are pervasive. Everywhere potatoes are cultivated, both are present. The labels “Early” and “Late” allude to the relative timing of their field emergence, however both disorders might manifest simultaneously. In this work, we would focus on Early Blight. The fungus Alternaria solani, that can infect potatoes, tomatoes, several species of the potato genus, and some mustards, is the cause of early blight of potatoes. Young, actively growing plants are rarely impacted by this disease, commonly known as target spot. It first appears on elder leaves. Warm temperatures and heavy humidity foster Early Blight. This disease affects the tuber symptomized by dark, rounded to irregular dots being developed on the tuber. As the disease develops, the flesh of the potatoes commonly becomes water-soaked yellow to greenish yellow. For this work, we have collected a set of nearly 1000 samples of Early Blight affected Potato Leaves. Using that, we have modelled a Machine Learning Classification Paradigm that could potentially predict the occurrence of Early Blight Disease making using of classical classifier algorithms. Medical Science have advanced to a great height. If we could potentially predict the disease, in the early stages, Plant Pathology could stop the menace from occurrence.","PeriodicalId":184366,"journal":{"name":"2023 2nd International Conference on Computational Systems and Communication (ICCSC)","volume":"49 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130120889","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

SDN is a networking approach that uses software to abstract, manage, and control the network infrastructure. In SDN, the control plane, which determines how data is routed through the network, is separated from the data plane, which forwards the traffic. This separation allows the control plane to be more flexible and programmable, enabling administrators to easily configure and manage the network using the software. There are several routing algorithms and techniques that can be used to improve network performance in Software-Defined Networking. Shortest Path Routing is a common routing algorithm along with Segment Routing and may be capable of speeding up the network's overall performance by decreasing the time it takes for traffic to reach its destination. Load Balancing is a technique that involves distributing traffic across multiple resources, such as servers or network devices, to optimize the use of resources and improve the performance of the network. For this, there exist several techniques such as Round Robin and Ant Colony Optimization. Another such technique used to optimize the use of resources and improve the overall performance of the network is Traffic Engineering - where software is used to route traffic through the network based on various criteria, such as the type of traffic, the source, and destination of the traffic, or the current load on the network. There have been numerous studies in these fields investigating the feasibility of novel systems and solutions that have been proposed for improving network performance. This paper goes into the methodologies followed for these systems and the impacts they have had on generating increments in network performance.","PeriodicalId":184366,"journal":{"name":"2023 2nd International Conference on Computational Systems and Communication (ICCSC)","volume":"24 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124199034","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
