Gabor filter was used for enhancement fingerprint image. Discrete Wavelet transform was employed as a feature extraction technique in frequency domain. Moreover, Feed Forward Backpropagation Neural network (FFBPNN) and Fuzzy C mean (FCM) were used for classification. To estimate the performance of above two classifiers, a comparison based on recognition efficiency and processing time were obtained. The algorithms were applied on two databases FVC 2004 for 40 persons with eight images per person and another database for 100 persons with ten images per person. The results proved that the FFBPNN is more powerful classification tool in recognition efficiency and execution time. The system’s errors rate is analyzed under the effects of the atmospheric turbulence, foggy weather, and the multipath fading channel. The Gamma-Gamma and the Nakagami-m models are used to characterize the atmospheric turbulence through the FSO link and the multipath fading over the RF link respectively. The performance of the hybrid system is examined by a new closed-form expression for the averaged bit errors rate under the considered channel effects. The simulation results show that the hybrid FSO/RF system can outperform both FSO and RF link only systems under different fog densities of the channel. In this paper, a comparison is made between two power flow methods, Direct Backward Forward Sweep Method (DBFSM) and Newton Raphson Method (NRM) to perform optimal DSR. Qualified Binary Particle Swarm Optimization (QBPSO) algorithm is used to obtain optimal DSR. Two standard networks (IEEE-16 bus, and IEEE-33 bus) are used to explain comparisons between two load flow methods. The using of DBFSM led to a significant influences in the minimizing of power losses and achieve more improvement in the voltage profile for both 16 bus and 33 bus RDS. The tabulated results and figures show that the DBFSM is more fast and robust than NRM. When the network becomes congested, performance is fully crumbling, and almost no packets are delivered, in other words, congestion refers to a loss of network performance when the network is heavily loaded. The mechanism that is used to remove congestion by migrating packets from the overloaded nodes to lightly loaded nodes to improve the network performance is called load balancing. In this paper, the load balancing algorithm using fuzzy logic is proposed. The proposed algorithm was simulated utilizing Network Simulator (Version 2). The metrics was utilized capacity and queue size are considered as input for the fuzzy logic and the state of the link was determined as output. The results obtained were compared with the results of the static load balancing algorithm and dynamic load balancing algorithm. The proposed algorithm achieves significant performance improvement with respect to reduce Packets Loss and End to End Delay. The development of smart mobile robots became more useful and an efficient in a wide range of areas. Therefore, the proposed system was designed by using a microcontroller type Raspberry Pi 3 with associate the Python language and implemented on the a known road networks based on Dijkstra’s algorithm to choosing the best path to reach the target by the smart mobile robot. The Dijkstra’s algorithm has putted a solution for shortest length between two nodes in the graphic search. The experimental results were taken from the gradient training by Dijkstra’s algorithm for obtain path set out. These results appeared a high accuracy to select the shortest path for robot moving. The unconfined Dibdibba aquifer in this area is considered as a producing hydrogeological unit that extend over large areas in the central and southern part of Iraq.In this study, hydrogeological characteristics of the aquifer system as well as aquifer flow direction were investigated. The pumping test results analysis by AQTESOLV Version 4.5 reveals that transmissibility and hydraulic conductivity of Dibdibba Aquifer in the study area ranged from (129–161) m2/day and (3.6–5.3) m/day respectively.The flow net showed that flow direction is from the southwest to the northeast and east, towards the discharge zone along the Euphrates River.Water balance was evaluated using meteorological data of Karbala meteorological stations. The main purpose of a water balance calculation is to predict temporal variations of water content in a closed system and to estimate change in groundwater storage in the study area. Overall calculations of the water balance components shows that the inflow water that reach the study area is (6,317.57 m3/day) while the amount of outflow water is (6931.93 m3/day). Therefore the change in the groundwater storage (ΔS) will be (−6,317.57 m3/day).
