The proposed method has lossless ability in the recovery process of secret image. This approach exploits the simplicity of bitwise-based computation. As reported in the experimental section, the proposed method yields better results compared to the former existing scheme under visual investigation and objective assessment on the recovered secret image. It requires an understanding for the meaning of each word including the out-of-vocabulary words and the relation between words in that sentence. Twitter is one of social media networking that allows users to broadcast short text message called tweets. Compared to English, Bahasa Indonesia has a different characteristic on its structure in which it has many words coming from local language that can be categorized as the out-of-vocabulary words. This paper is aimed to explain how to generate the question-answer pairs from opinion statements from Twitter in Bahasa Indonesia. Those generated question-answer pairs will be used to build a question-answer opinion corpus. The proposed approach is the transformation of a pattern-based opinion sentences, focused on the identification of objects, features of objects, and opinions of objects. Causal compensator is a design of stable compensator of RC in the form of proper transfer function. The design aims to ensure convergency, stability, and good tracking performance. This compensator can be realized independently without being attached to the internal model. Thus, the proposed design can reduce the complexity of the dual periods RC system. The dual periods RC system is designed to handle repetitive signal that consists of two fundamental frequencies. The compensator design is based on stability condition of dual periods RC system, and optimization is used to obtain the compensator parameters. The shifting of mobile communication from traditional voice and SMS based telecommunication to global internet based social networks and instant messaging has brought new challenges for the government. The end-to- end encryption model which is commonly adopted in global instant messaging applications, such as Whatsapp, may challenge the interception procedures by law enforcers. This is a traditional literature review on current Indonesian policies and regulations. Scientific papers were purposively selected in supporting the arguments. The discussion of the paper consists of three sections: 1) Interception and Data Protection; 2) The Indonesian regulatory challenges; 3) The policy recommendations. The current regulation most likely is insufficient to support lawful interception (LI) for encrypted voice and text on instant messaging plaftorms. The practical implementation of the Law towards foreign instant messaging providers remain constrain particularly the Permanent Establishment status. Microarray data technology is created to make it easier for doctors to diagnose cancer faster. This technology brings a glimmer of hope for researchers to prevent cancer from an early age. Microarray data has huge data dimension, with hundreds of sample and thousands of features. This paper presents a classification system using Modified Backpropagation with Conjugate Gradient Polak-Ribiere and Ant Colony Optimization as the gene selection. By using the fundamental function of human body’s neural network, MBP Conjugate Gradient Polak-Ribiere can classify the microarray data, whereas, with the application of ACO as gene selector, important genes will be selected so that MBP optimization is achieved. MBP has been known for its ability to process microarray data with huge dimension. MBP is perfect for microarray data processing. While ACO is a new method developed by previous researchers to perform feature selection. In this study, it is found that the classification of MBP can reach the F-Measure score of 0.7297. When combined with ACO as feature selection, the score increases by 0.8635. Many problems in BLDC controlling, one of them is the overshoot so that the angular position control of BLDC motor using cuckoo search algorithm optimized proportional derivative (PD) controller to form what the so-called the cuckoo-PD (Cuckoo-PD) controller is proposed in this paper. Control system is realized in a microcontroller namely a 16MHz Atmega 2560 with an absolute encoder as a position sensor. The effectiveness of the Cuckoo-PD controller is tested under constant and varying step functions with the Ziegler-Nichols-PD (ZN-PD) controller as a benchmark. Meanwhile, the Indonesian speech recognition system (ASR) still has poor performance compared to dictated speech. In this work, we used deep neural networks approach, focused primarily on using long short-term memory (LSTM) to improve the language model performance as it has been successfully applied to many long context-dependent problems including language modeling. We tried different architectures and parameters to get the optimal combination, including deep LSTMs and LSTM with projection layer (LSTMP). Thereafter, different type of corpus was employed to enrich the language model linguistically. All our LSTM language models achieved significant improvement in terms of perplexity and word error rate (%WER) compared to n-gram as the baseline. The perplexity improvement was up to 50.6% and best WER reduction was 3.61% as evaluated with Triphone GMM- HMM acoustic model. This paper copes that challenges by proposing the adaptive particle swarm optimization (APSO) to optimize the gains of proportional-derivative (PD) controller. The effectiveness of the proposed control algorithm is tested under constant and varying step functions as well as sine function. PSO-based optimal PD and Ziegler-Nichols (ZN)-based optimal PD controllers are taken as benchmarks. The experiments are conducted with an architecture based on neural network model, that is a simple feedforward neural network with two input layers, one merge layer, and two hidden layers. The first input layer uses word embeddings (CBOW and Skip-gram) feature as the input while the second input layer uses morphological and capitalization features. The results show that the selected additional features improve the performance and accuracy of current word embedding-based POS tagger, although it is not really significant. Signal subspace is a technique to separate uncorrelated additive noise from the speech signal by decompose the signal into noise-only subspace and signal plus noise subspace. Unfortunately, this decomposition is effective only for white noise. For color noise as most of speech enhancement cases, noise estimation is mandatory. This paper investigates the performance of AdaBoost algorithm to update noise estimation for subspace-based speech enhancement. AdaBoost estimator classify a signal frame into two class, speech and non-speech. From time frame which is identified as non-speech, the estimator calculates the power spectrum and assumes it as noise power spectra. During the presence of speech, the noise is assumed equal to the last updated value.
