Some countries have begun to develop systems for assessing sustainability in buildings. It has become necessary to pay attention to apply the principles of sustainability in landscape for the external spaces to integrate with the sustainable building system, due to the importance of these spaces in creating an urban environment that meets the social, psychological and environmental needs, and also contributes to shaping the visual image of the city in addition to its functional, urban and social importance, as it includes huge amount of activities. Therefore, the research deals with a study of the principles of sustainable landscape in new urban communities, as they (urban communities) are considered the most sectors consuming energy, water and natural resources ]1[ , by studying sustainability standards in landscape through the first approved system in the United States of America to evaluate the design and construction of sustainable sites (SITES V2), then analyzing this system for evaluation and knowing its objectives and areas. They are caused by short circuits, starting large machines, or energizing a transformer. The main existing technologies for mitigating voltage sag are briefly illustrated. Static Compensators (STATCOM) and dynamic voltage resistors (DVR) are good economic solutions to mitigate voltage sags based on their capabilities. Mitigating devices affect the power flow and voltage profile conditions at both, utility equipment and customers. The impact is on the system voltage profile and on system losses. Using PASCAD/EMTDC, different ratings concerning the capacitor of STATCOM used have been considered and applied to the IEEE 9-bus system. The analysis and studies are carried out in normal and abnormal operating system states. Life cycle cost, maintenance types, and cost are discussed. The status of components of any equipment and its operation condition during its life period is illustrated. The procedure for a feasibility study of STATCOM's capacitor rating selection and economics for voltage sag mitigation is illustrated.","PeriodicalId":179458,"journal":{"name":"MEJ. The present research paper aims to investigate the distributed load capacity of CFS sections in lightweight buildings. Three CFS built-up sections were investigated for column and other three for girder in a frame of building study case. Channels, channels with lip, sigma section, hollow section, and/or plates were used to obtain column and girder profiles in frame. Self-tapping screws were applied to assemble the elements of each section. The finite element (FE) model was used to study the distributed load capacity of frames using ABAQUS program. A total of nine frames were tested till failure, and their behavior was studied. The FE model was validated using data from prior tests. Different characteristics affecting the distributed load capacity of CFS built-up sections were studied using the FE model, including column profile, girder profile, steel grade, steel thickness, longitudinal spacing between screws (fasteners), and cross- sectional area. the distributed load capacities obtained from FE models were compared to develop","PeriodicalId":179458,"journal":{"name":"MEJ. So, there is a need to develop and improve the respiratory case prediction model as soon as possible to control the spread of Respiratory viruses. Today advanced machine learning methods diagnose viruses such as Corona viruses that can be effectively classified. This paper proposes a scanning model based on using a combination of CNN (Convolutional Neural Network) and PNN (Probabilistic Neural Network) to classify images of Corona viruses. The proposed combined network, (PCN) system. The images used are resized, and the light was adjusted in a way that reflects the size of the Plaque damage and highlighted by converting the image to Hue Saturation Value (HSV). Essential distance information in an image is filtered, leaving important features of the image information. The PCN system uses the Convolutional Neural Network to calculate the dependent factors and passes the results to the Probabilistic Neural Network, and link the features of intermediate stages with the combined network to predict segmentation. As a result, PCN system achieves 100% accuracy.","PeriodicalId":179458,"journal":{"name":"MEJ. It caused a global health crisis that in turn affected many aspects of life, especially in architectural education, which faced challenges due to these crises. This makes us tend to change learning methods in a way that turns students from passive listeners to active learners, and from consumers of knowledge to producers of it, in a way that enables them to be able to face problems in architectural and urban design. This research aims to enable students to obtain the necessary knowledge to enter the profession and support its sustainability and preservation, by obtaining accreditation from one of the international accreditation programs for architecture education NAAB, RIBA or UIA 1 , which qualify its graduates to deal with various challenges. Therefore, the sustainability of architectural education must be sought in the programs of architecture in Egyptian universities and raise the level of their quality through environmental behavior studies, sustainability and environmental awareness, and digital and virtual practices. Hence, this research evaluates some architectural programs (Mansoura University - Tanta University) using the international verification standards NAAB, RIBA and UIA to determine the extent to which these programs are compatible with them, and the considerations to be considered when seeking international accreditation and achieving sustainability. The research concluded that the architecture program at the Faculty of Engineering at Mansoura University can be accredited through NAAB, while the architecture program at the","PeriodicalId":179458,"journal":{"name":"MEJ.
