Then in this study the authors used a descriptive quantitative research method with a one-group pretest-posttest design model, where the researcher described the results in this study by revealing data in the form of numbers that had been analyzed using the SPSS application. Then the results of this study can be seen in some of the following data from the resulting research, it is known that the resulting significance value of 0.144 is greater than 0.06. So it can be concluded that the data tested is normally distributed. Then test the hypothesis through the paired sample t-test that the resulting average pre-test is 54.62 and 81.30 post-test. Therefore, the results of the post-test were better than the pre-test and the resulting standard deviation was for the pretest 13,240 and for the post-test 9,096. Then the results of the other paired sample t-test showed that the results were sig. Numerous pieces of evidence point to the existence of social issues that manifest themselves not only in the context of the educational institution but also in the wider society. Lack or low emotional intelligence is considered the presence of disturbances in emotional and social functioning. Social skills and managing emotions are essential to blocking problematic behaviors. But empirical evidence of emotional intelligence and its influence on social skills is minimal. This study aims to prove the influence of emotional intelligence on students' social skills at the High School level. This research uses a descriptive method with a correlational type of research. The population used in this study was all high school students in the Tasikmalaya area, and as many as 173 students were sampled in this study by random cluster sampling. The data analysis was a simple linear regression test using IBM SPSS 26. The result of this study is the relationship between variables of 0.503 in a positive direction, with a coefficient of determination (R Square) of 0.253, which means that free variables have an influence of 25.3% on bound variables. Referring to the calculated F value = 57.967 with a Sig. rate of 0.000 < 0.05 means that the null hypothesis is rejected, and the research hypothesis is accepted. In conclusion, emotional intelligence positively affects students' social skills in Physical Education.","PeriodicalId":17815,"journal":{"name":"Kinestetik : Jurnal Ilmiah Pendidikan Jasmani","volume":"76 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"75935913","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The purpose of this study was to determine how much students can apply effective learning models in the learning process when following PLP, as well as how the application of these models affect the effectiveness of learning when following PLP. The design of research conducted in this study is qualitative research with descriptive approach. The population in this study as many as 55 students and then sampled a number of 30 students with random sampling. The results of the observation sheet showed that most students (70%) can apply effective learning models in the learning process when following PLP. While the other 30% still have difficulty in implementing the model. The results of data reduction from interview sheets showed that most students (80%) stated that the application of effective learning models in PLP makes learning more fun and effective. Another 20% stated that they had difficulties in implementing the model. The results of data reduction from the questionnaire showed that most students choose expository learning (20%) Problem-Based (60%) and cooperative learning (15%), most students can apply problem-based learning models in the learning process when attending PLP. This can be seen from the reduction of observation sheet data which shows that 70% of students can apply the model. The results of interviews and questionnaires also showed that most students stated that the application of effective learning models in PLP makes learning more fun and effective.","PeriodicalId":17815,"journal":{"name":"Kinestetik : Jurnal Ilmiah Pendidikan Jasmani","volume":"12 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"90476078","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The study utilized a group experimental design with 40 training participants divided into a control group and an experimental group. The control group received only volleyball training, while the experimental group received volleyball training integrated with sub-dimensions of life skills such as teamwork, goal setting, time management, emotional skills, interpersonal communication, social skills, leadership, and problem-solving. The results of the study showed that the experimental group experienced a significant improvement in life skills development compared to the control group. Integrating life skills into volleyball training can provide effective benefits for training participants, especially in terms of important social and emotional skills in daily life and the workforce. Therefore, integrating life skills into sports training and education can be an effective alternative to comprehensively enhance life skills development. The findings imply that sports coaches and educators should consider incorporating life skills into their training curriculums to provide young individuals with the necessary skills to succeed in their personal and professional lives. Additionally, policymakers can utilize the results of this study to develop strategies and policies promoting life skills education in schools and sports programs. Overall, the study emphasizes the importance of holistic approaches to youth development and highlights the potential benefits of integrating life skills into sports training for enhancing life skills development.","PeriodicalId":17815,"journal":{"name":"Kinestetik : Jurnal Ilmiah Pendidikan Jasmani","volume":"7 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"90830104","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
