A new object tracking techniques based on prediction is proposed. At first it decides motion features of the object depending on current measurements or history records of its motion, and then predicts its future location by integrating with its current information such as location, velocity, and motion direction. When prediction fails, the network will start hierarchically recovery process according to its records on motion history or a priori knowledge. New algorithm based on the multi-resolution analysis of the wavelet transforms. Choosing wavelet base for fingerprint image application must match the requirements of lossless image compression, which is, taking orthogonal wavelet base. Daubuchies wavelet base just meets the requirement. Our bandwidth management framework contains route computation, bandwidth allocation and preemption for Label Switched Paths (LSPs). We put forward two algorithms. The first one, named bandwidth preemption algorithm, dedicated for the Maximum Allocation Model and in which preemption is conducted in two dimensions: Class Type and priority levels within a same CT. Furthermore, we design a second algorithm named LSP preemption algorithm to select the most appropriate LSPs to be cast out. Selection decision is made on the basis of several citeria: the precedence level, the number of LSPs to preempt and the excess of bandwidth to gain. Extensive simulation study is carried out to evaluate the performance of our approach. Compared with existing ones, our algorithm improves not only bandwidth efficiency but also robustness and fairness. Electronic Control Unit (ECU) has become the fundamental building block of any automotive subsystem and is interfaced with electro mechanics counterpart. To meet the system wide requirements, these ECUs are interconnected using the communication infrastructure. Although the communication infrastructure in terms of, predominantly, the CAN based vehicle network took its birth to enable ECUs to work in a coordinated manner in order to support system wide requirements, during the past decade, this infrastructure was also viewed as a potential means to incorporate extensibility in terms of addition of newer ECUs which are built for implementing additional requirements. With this paradigm, the number of ECUs started growing in a steep manner, uncontrolled and as a result, today, it is not hard to see a high segment automotive housing ECUs as large as 75-80. Hence, load balancing mechanisms are needed to ease ECU integration and for efficient utilization of CPU power in ECUs.
