Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di lahan percobaan di Kelurahan Lansot Kecamatan Tomohon Selatan Kota Tomohon pada bulan Desember 2018 – Februari 2019. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) yang terdiri atas 5 perlakuan konsentrasi ekstrak daun jeruk nipis yaitu J0(kontrol), J1  = 100 g ekstrak daun/L, J2 = 200 g ekstrak daun/L, J3 = 300 g ekstrak daun/L, dan J4 = 400 g ekstrak daun/L. Parameter yang diamati yaitu intensitas serangan akibat hama pemakan daun. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian ekstrak daun jeruk nipis berpengaruh nyata terhadap intensitas serangan pada tanaman sawi dan konsentrasi ekstrak daun jeruk nipis yang dapat menekan serangan hama pemakan daun yaitu konsentrasi perlakuan J3 (300 g ekstrak).Kata kunci : Sawi (Brassica juncea L.) , hama pemakan daun, jeruk nipis                    (Citrus aurantifolia)THE ATTACK INTENSITY DUE TO LEAF-EATING PESTS AFTER APPLICATION OF LIME (Citrus aurantifolia (Cristm.) Swingle) LEAF EXTRACT ON MUSTARD PLANTS (Brassica juncea L.)  ABSTRACTThis study is aimed to evaluate the intensity of the attacks due to leaf-eating pests after the application of lime leaf extract on mustard plants. This research was carried out on experimental fiel in Lansot Sub-District, South Tomohon District, Tomohon City in December 2018 - February 2019. This study used a completely randomized design consisting of 5 treatments of lime leaf extract concentrations, namely J0 (Control), J1 = 100 g leaf extract / L, J2 = 200 g leaf extract / L), J3= 300 g leaf extract/ L, and J4 = 400 g leaf extract / L. The intensity of the attack was observed based on the area of leaf damaged by pest. Penelitian bertempat di lahan percobaan Kelurahan Lansot, Kecamatan Tomohon Selatan, Kota Tomohon, Sulawesi Utara. Penelitian menggunakan metode eksperimen Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan tiga ulangan. Konsentrasi ekstrak daun babadotan dengan empat taraf perlakuan yaitu: P0=kontrol,  P1=100 g/L, P2= 200 g/L dan P3= 300 g/L. Aplikasi ekstrak daun babadotan dilakukan pada 16 hari setelah tanam (HST), 26 HST dan 36 HST. Parameter yang diamati yaitu luas intensitas serangan. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan ANAVA dan dilanjutkan dengan uji Beda Nyata Terkecil (BNT) pada p=0.05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi ekstrak daun babadotan menurunkan intensitas serangan  hama pemakan daun pada tanaman sawi. Aplikasi ekstrak daun babadotan sebesar 300 gr/L dapat menekan serangan hama pemakan daun pada tanaman sawi.Kata kunci: Ekstrak  daun babadotan (Ageratum conyzoides L.), Tanaman sawi (Brassica juncea L.), Intensitas serangan hama. INTENSITY OF ATTACK DUE TO LEAF EATER  PESTS AFTER APPLICATION OF BABADOTAN LEAF EXTRACT (Ageratum conyzoides l.). IN MUSTARD PLANTS (Brassica juncea L.)  ABSTRACTResearch has been carried out to evaluate the intensity of attacks due to leaf eater pests after application of babadotan leaf extract (Ageratum conyzoides L.) on mustard plants (Brassica juncea L.). This research took place at the trial area of Lansot village, Tomohon central, Tomohon city, North Sulawesi. The study used the experimental method Completely Random Design with 3 replications. The concentration of babadotan leaf extract with four treatment levels, namely: P0 = (control), P1= 100 g/L,  P2= 200 g/L and  P 3= 300 g/L.  The application of babadotan leaf extract was carried out at 16 days after planting (HST), 26 HST and 36 HST. The parameter observed was the area of intensity. The data obtained were analyzed by ANOVA and LSD comparisons test with  p value 0.05. The results showed that the application of babadotan leaf extract reduced the intensity of attacks due to leaf eating pests on mustard plants. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan sebanyak 3 kali yaitu pada hari ke-0 (sebelum perlakuan) 7 dan 14. Daun yang diambil adalah daun yang merupakan tunas kedua termuda pada tiap tanaman dalam pot. Daun puring diekstraksi menggunakan alkohol 96% dan konsentrasi klorofil diukur menggunakan spektrofotometer. Data konsentrasi klorofil total yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan analisis sidik ragam pada tingkat kepercayaan 95% dan diuji lanjut dengan uji Duncan 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor waktu menyebabkan perbedaan yang nyata pada konsentrasi klorofil total pada tanaman puring. Konsentrasi klorofil total daun pada hari ke-0 lebih rendah daripada hari ke-7 dan 14. Perlakuan naungan dan tanpa naungan tidak mempengaruhi konsentrasi klorofil total tetapi memberi corak warna pada daun puring.Kata kunci: tanaman puring, naungan, klorofil total THE CONCENTRATION OF LEAF CHLOROPHYLL IN CROTON PLANT (Codiaeum variegatum L.) UNDER SHADING TREATMENTABSTRACTThe study aimed to determine the differences in total chlorophyll concentration in croton leaves which were not shaded and shaded  for 14 days. The leaves taken are the second youngest shoots in each plant in the pot. Sampling was done three times on days 0, 7 and 14. Croton leaves exstracted using alcohol 96% and chlorophyll concentration was measured using a spectrophotometer. The obtained data of leaf total chlorophyll concentration analysed using ANOVA at 95% confidence level and tested further with a 5% Duncan test. The results showed that the factor of treatment period resulted in a significant difference in the leaf total chlorophyll concentration in croton plants. The leaf total chlorophyll concentration at day 0 was lower than at day 7 and 14. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data primer yang diperoleh dari mahasiswa Program Studi Biologi pada semester genap 2017/2018. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan Purposive  Sampling pada seluruh mata kuliah dan Simple Random Sampling pada mahasiswa yang mengambil mata kuliah tersebut dan selanjutnya diwawancarai dalam bentuk pengisian kuisioner penilaian terhadap kinerja dosen dalam proses pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memprediksi pendapatan yang maksimal oleh para petani hutan rakyat sebelum melaksanakan pemanenan. Program linear merupakan metode yang dapat digunakan dalam model optimasi untuk menentukan lahan pemanenan kayu cempaka dalam periode-periode tertentu, dan dapat memprediksi pendapatan maksimum yang dapat diterima sebelum melakukan pemanenan. Dengan menggunakan program linear diperoleh pendapatan maksimum yaitu sebesar Rp.28.622.240.000, dengan pemanenan pada periode pertama yaitu lahan 8, dan lahan 14. Periode kedua yaitu lahan 1, lahan 3, lahan 6, dan lahan 13. Periode ketiga yaitu lahan 5, lahan 7, dan lahan 9. Periode keempat yaitu lahan 4, lahan 10, dan lahan 12. Periode kelima yaitu lahan 2, dan lahan 11.Kata kunci:  Penentuan Lahan Pemanenan, Program Linear, Model Optimasi, Hutan Rakyat.THE DETERMINATION OF HARVESTING AREAS OF CEMPAKA WOOD (Elmerrillia ovalis) IN COMMUNITY FORESTS IN TARERAN DISTRICT SOUTH MINAHASA REGENCY USING ZERO-ONE INTEGER PROGRAMMING ABSTRACTForest is a natural resource that is slow to be renewed, including with community forests, so it is necessary to optimize the harvesting of community forests, but specifically in this study discussed the determination of cempaka wood harvesting areas. The purpose of this research is to estimate the maximum income by community forest farmers before carrying out harvesting. A linear program is a method that can be used in an optimization model to determine cempaka wood harvesting areas in certain periods, and it can estimate the maximum income that can be received before harvesting. By using a linear program, the maximum income obtained Rp. 28,622,240,000, with harvesting in the first period, area 8, and area 14. The second period is area 1, area 3, area 6, and area 13. Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi peluang lulus di bawah empat tahun di FMIPA unsrat bisa berasal dari beberapa faktor internal dan eksternal. Penelitian ini dilakukan selam 4 bulan sejak bulan November 2018 sampai bulan Maret 2019. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menentukan peluang lulus dengan masa studi mahasiswa di bawah empat tahun di FMIPA Unsrat dan menentukan faktor-faktor yang signifikan terhadap peluang lulus dengan mahasiswa kurang dari empat tahun menggunakan regresi poisson. Dari hasil analisis pada penerapan regresi poisson terhadap peluang lulus dengan masa studi mahasiswa di FMIPA Unsrat dapat diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa variabel   mengikuti dan aktif sebagai KSB (Ketua, Sekretaris, Bendahara ) () dan mengikuti dan sebagai perwakilan Unsrat pada ON MIPA () tidak berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap peluang lulus dengan masa studi mahasiswa kurang dari empat tahun di FMIPA Unsrat dan untuk variabel IPK () berpengaruh terhadap model dan diperoleh model sebagai berikut :  = exp ( -3,828 + 1,072  )Kata kunci: Peluang Lulus kurang dari Empat Tahun, Regresi Poisson..  THE APPLICATION OF POISSON REGRESSION TO PROBABILITY OF LESS THAN GRADUATED AT FACULTY OF MATHEMATICS AND NATURAL SCIENCES SAM RATULANGI UNIVERSITY ABSTRACTLearning is the right of every people, but learning activities in a college are a privilege because only people who meet the requirements are entitled to study at the educational institution. Data diperoleh melalui kuesioner yang dibagikan kepada mahasiswa yang mengikuti perkuliahan semester genap 2017/2018 dan dianalisis dengan menggunakan statistika deskriptif dan metode ward. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa DS5 merupakan dosen yang melakukan kinerja dengan sangat maksimal dalam proses pembelajaran, sedangkan dosen yang tidak maksimal kinerjanya pada proses pembelajaran adalah DS20. Untuk hasil pengelompokan terdapat 5 kelompok dosen-dosen yang mengajar di PS Matematika FMIPA UNSRAT dan kelompok dosen yang sangat baik dalam proses pembelajaran adalah kelompok ketiga yang terdiri dari DS4, DS14, DS15, DS9, DS5, dan DS6. Kata kunci: Analisis Gerombol, Metode Ward, Jarak Euclidean, Dosen, Proses Pembelajaran GROUPING OF LECTURER BASED ON LEARNING PROCESS AT MATHEMATICS STUDY PROGRAM IN FMIPA UNSRAT IN EVEN SEMESTER 2017/2018 USING WARD METHOD ABSTRACTThis research aims to classify lecturers who teach at Mathematics Study Program in FMIPA UNSRAT in even semester 2017/2018. The data obtained from questionnaire which is shared to college student who take the class in even semester 2017/2018 and analyzed using descriptive statistics and Ward method. The result of the analysis show that DS5 is the lecturer who did the maximum performance in learning process, while the lecturer who didn’t do the maximum performance is DS20. Pada penelitian ini telah dilakukan karakterisasi terhadap tanaman jombang yang tumbuh di daerah Batu Malang.  Ekstrak diperoleh dengan metode maserasi menggunakan pelarut etanol 70% didapatkan rendemen sebesar 13,03%  berupa ekstrak berkonsistensi kental, berwarna coklat tua dan berbau khas. Kadar air 8,79% dan kadar abu 11,195%. Kadar sari larut air 28,77% dan kadar sari larut etanol 18,226%. A vector space over a field  is a set of vectors with two binary operation. The binary operation  is addition and scalar multiplication. A vector space is a module over a field, many of basic concepts that we defined for vector space can also be defined module. But it’s not all module vector space over a field. This protein is encoded by the TNF-α gene. Several studies had linked the presence of polymorphisms in the TNF-α promoter region with susceptibility to the onset of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) in active and passive smokers. This study aimed to identify and analyze the nucleotide polymorphism in TNF-α gene promoter regions in active and passive smokers in Manado. The method used in this study included blood sampling, DNA extraction, amplification of -308 TNF-α promoter region, sequencing and data analysis. The softwares used for data analysis were Geneious, Multalin, Clustal Omega and DnaSP. DnaSP was used to compute the level of polymorphism based on haplotype statistics. The results did not show single nucleotide polymorphism at position -308 in TNF-α gene promoters in active and passive smokers. This was because at that position, the nucleotides were both in the form of guanosine monophosphate and there were no mutation caused by cigarette smoke exposure.Keywords: active smoker, passive smoker, single nucleotide polymorphism, TNF-α promoter DETEKSI POLIMORFISME NUKLEOTIDA TUNGGAL-308 PROMOTERTNF-α PADA PEROKOK AKTIF DAN PASIF ABSTRAKTumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) merupakan salah satu sitokin pro-inflamasi yang berperan dalam proses inflamasi, perkembangan sistem imun, dan apoptosis. Protein ini dikode oleh gen TNF-α. Beberapa penelitian telah mengkaitkan adanya polimorfisme pada daerah promoter TNF-α dengan kerentanan terhadap timbulnya chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) pada perokok aktif maupun pasif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis polimorfisme nukleotida tunggal pada posisi -308 dari promoter gen TNF-α perokok aktif dan pasif. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini meliputi pengambilan sampel darah, ekstraksi DNA, amplifikasi daerah -308 promoter gen TNF-α, sekuensing serta analisis data. Analisis data menggunakan perangkat lunak Geneious, BLAST, Multalin, Clustal Omega dan DnaSP. Perangkat DnaSP akan mengkomputasi tingkat polimorfisme berdasarkan statistik haplotype-based. Hasil yang didapatkan menunjukkan bahwa polimorfisme nukleotida tunggal pada posisi -308 dari promoter gen TNF-α antara perokok aktif dan pasif tidak ditemukan.
