An advantage of these chirps is that they can be chosen from a large class to allow multiple radar operators to use each a specific waveform in automotive applications. When the new chirps are derived from chaotic signals, they are also less predictable for an observer, which is an advantage in some radar and sonar applications.","PeriodicalId":177095,"journal":{"name":"2019 International Conference on Applied Electronics (AE)","volume":"38 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133100697","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, the computational power requirements of higher dimensional cross codes mean that priority has been given to different forward error correction methods, with the result that cross parity check codes have not become sufficiently generalized to include a higher number of dimensions. In the last two decades, the focus has mainly been on Reed-Solomon codes, Hamming codes, BCH codes, convolutional codes and turbo codes. In this paper, the issues behind generalized multidimensional parity check codes are explored again in relation to current main-stream interest by covering parity check codes in the form of low-density parity checks. I will put forward a new solution to the multidimensional parity check code decoding process for low data rate downlinks in CubeSat satellites. I propose that the high computational power of software-defined radio can be utilized for iterative decoding of CubeSat satellite transmissions in ground control segments, ensuring that onboard multidimensional parity encoders are as simple to use as possible.","PeriodicalId":177095,"journal":{"name":"2019 International Conference on Applied Electronics (AE)","volume":"19 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133073281","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

These stimulators require positive and negative high voltage (HV) sources in order to deliver the programmed CC pulses to load. For example, applying symmetrical biphasic CC pulses with 50 mA amplitude to a $1 mathrm{k}Omega$ load requires positive and negative supply rails of 50V and -50V, respectively. In this study, a HV source based on a switched inductance boost DC/DC converter and a switched capacitor voltage inverter is designed and implemented in order to satisfy the HV requirements of biphasic stimulators. Performance of the proposed HV topology is satisfactory for CC pulses of 35 mA applied to a $1mathrm{k}Omega$ load.","PeriodicalId":177095,"journal":{"name":"2019 International Conference on Applied Electronics (AE)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130727021","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

We have used in the analysis the sentence /vine mama/ (mother is coming), which is a commonly used phrase in the daily speech, and we have followed the variations of the vowel correlation, depending on the expressed emotion (joy, sadness, anger and emotional neutrality). The main conclusion that we have drawn is that, regarding emotions with negative valence (sadness and anger), the higher order formants (F3 and F4) show a significantly higher correlation level compared to lower order formants (F1 and F2). Moreover, we have found that the variation of the correlation level of the pairs of formants is more homogeneous when emotional neutrality is expressed.","PeriodicalId":177095,"journal":{"name":"2019 International Conference on Applied Electronics (AE)","volume":"210 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114414361","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The system presented consists of two or more cooperating robots that use a mobile phone as their control unit. The robot is controlled via sockets from a remote server using the GSM standard, and the control of the hardware peripherals is done with FT312D circuit connected to a microprocessor. This solution seems to be inexpensive and user-friendly. The designed robot can determine its relative position based on photographs made by a general optical sensor. The photographs are subsequently processed on the server. The research work describes a method for detecting and determining the size of an object, while the object detected in a photograph is measured based on precise moves of the robotic device. The design reduces movement inaccuracies caused by chassis slipping on the terrain by using another robotic device. Thanks to the rapid progress of mobile phone technology development and the ever-decreasing purchase costs, it is now possible to use a mobile phone as a source of sensors and as a means of remote communication. This article presents the complete design of the system, the procedure for processing of the photographs, the algorithm for estimating the distance as well as a theoretical vision of autonomous navigation.","PeriodicalId":177095,"journal":{"name":"2019 International Conference on Applied Electronics (AE)","volume":"233 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115898305","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This removes the need of manual measuring and setting the deadtime of the finished converter. The developed algorithm was tested and compared with the fixed deadtime case. The obtained results show that the developed algorithm is achieving higher and more stable efficiency compared to selected fixed deadtime.","PeriodicalId":177095,"journal":{"name":"2019 International Conference on Applied Electronics (AE)","volume":"8 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125901975","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
