The method used a Systematic Literature Review which consists of 5 stages adopted from Denyer and Tranfield. The main criteria for the selection of articles are scientific attitude in the field of chemistry learning with a period of 2012 until 2023 from the well-known national and international database. There were 29 articles were obtained that fit into the criteria. The article’s aspect focused on the parameters such as aim, sample level, instructional method, instruments, and chemistry subject. The result showed that the attitude scale is the most instrument that can be used to measure scientific attitude in chemistry learning. Meanwhile, PBL has become the most instructional method that has been used to enhance scientific attitude. Moreover, the studies mostly aim to investigate the influence of teaching methods on scientific attitudes. Most researchers involve high school students in scientific attitude research on analytical chemistry concepts. There are different codes for each theme of scientific attitudes. Thus, the review helps to evaluate the instrument and instructional methods in chemistry learning and also provides recommendations for examining students’ scientific attitudes in further explorations.","PeriodicalId":17697,"journal":{"name":"Jurnal Pendidikan Kimia","volume":"14 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-08-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"79875140","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In the case of hypertension, repressing the Angiotensin-Converting Enzyme (ACE) expression has been shown to be an effective method of controlling hypertension by inhibiting the conversion of angiotensin I to angiotensin II. Captopril is the most commonly used ACE inhibitor. It simultaneously inhibits the conversion of angiotensin I to the potent vasoconstrictor angiotensin II and the vasodilator peptide bradykinin. Sweet basil (Ocimum basilicum L.) on the other hand, is used in traditional Indian and Chinese medicine to treat a variety of diseases, including hypertension. The study aimed attempts to investigate the potency of 6 major compounds found in sweet basil (Ocimum basilicum L.) extract, as an anti-hypertension therapy. The analysis demonstrates that Ocimum basilicum L., extract is effective as an anti-hypertension therapy because it contains several compounds that may interact with ACE and inhibit its activity. The molecular docking analysis and drug-likeness prediction indicate that camphor could be a potential drug candidate because it does not violate the Lipinski rule, has a high Gastrointestinal (GI) absorption, a high affinity to interact with ACE, and a similar interaction site to the ACE-Captopril interaction.","PeriodicalId":17697,"journal":{"name":"Jurnal Pendidikan Kimia","volume":"23 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-08-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"72891306","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This liquid waste still contains a lot of chemical components, solid deposits, and oil which is dangerous if released directly into the environment. The residual oil and grease components contained in POME can be further extracted and converted into fuel fractions. This study investigates the conversion of residual oil from POME into fuel fractions through hydrocracking. A ZrO2/Sarulla natural zeolite (SNZ) catalyst was used, characterized by a particle size of 1-1.5 µm, a surface area of 73.3 m2/g, a pore volume of 0.161 cc/g, and a pore diameter of 3.35 nm. The effect of catalyst mass was studied, with the total conversion increasing to a certain extent with increasing catalyst mass, however, an increase in coke formation decreased the product yield. The highest gasoline fraction selectivity was obtained with a catalyst mass of 0.09 wt% (~42%), while the kerosene fraction was most obtained with a catalyst mass of 0.15 wt% (~40%). The liquid product with a catalyst mass of 0.15 wt% had the highest HHV of 44.2 MJ/kg, a 12% increase from the HHV of POME oil residue (39.4 MJ/kg). The results demonstrate the potential of using residual oil from POME as a source for fuel production and the use of natural zeolite-based catalysts as hydrocracking catalysts.","PeriodicalId":17697,"journal":{"name":"Jurnal Pendidikan Kimia","volume":"32 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-08-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"73298380","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
